Why not YOU?

A coach shares how he went from buying cheap fruit to earning over $100,000 CAD monthly through a coaching business. He credits the shift entirely to rejecting excuses and victim mentality, then committing to risk and relentless work. His point: your life right now is what you decided. Your next one is too.

I don't know who the fuck needs to hear this one today, but I know at least one of you needs to hear this, okay? You see these things? Blueberries. I used to limit myself from buying these at the grocery store because I thought they were too expensive. Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, any kind of berries. And you know what I used to buy instead? Apples, oranges, or bananas because they were super cheap. Let's do a little bit of a contrast and look at my life right now. Sitting here in an apartment. I wish the windows were open for this, but regardless, that I once dreamed of. For the longest time, I just wanted an apartment with ceiling-to-floor windows, and this one has it. Fully furnished. I didn't have to put a thing in here. Right downtown, less than a 10-minute walk to the dance studio, right on the waterfront. This is exactly what I wanted for a very long time, and now I'm at a place in my life where I can just get it. Just started dancing, need some new dance shoes? Great, swipe the credit card. Kind of busy lately, don't want to prep my own food? Great, hire a meal prep company, swipe the card. And not from a place from a place of still living far below my means, still putting lots of money in a savings account, and still setting future me up for success. My life is a fucking dream right now, and I honestly never thought it was going to get this good. When I started, I wanted to make, you know, $60,000 a year with my coaching business. At one point I decided maybe $100,000 a year felt like a big goal. We make that a month now. Last month we did more than that. And just for context, in this video I'm actually speaking Canadian dollars. I usually speak in US dollars. But in this video I'm speaking in Canadian because those were the goals I had back then. I only thought in Canadian dollars. Like, now I pretty much speak about everything in US, but anyways, that's besides the point. The point is that my life looks completely different now because I made a fucking decision. A decision that my life was gonna be different. I didn't grow up with money. My dad thinks the amount of money I make right now a month is batshit crazy, which it is. But I made that decision. I made the decision that I was gonna figure it out. I wasn't gonna make excuses. I wasn't gonna complain. I wasn't gonna look at everyone else and say, "It must be nice." I was gonna choose differently because if somebody else could do it, why couldn't I? And so I made different decisions. And your life is nothing but a product of all the decisions you've made up to this point. Because the reality is you can create whatever life you want. You can have whatever the heck you want, but you got to decide. You got to decide what's in alignment with the life that you want and what's not. And anything that's not in alignment with the life that you want and who you want to become has got to go. Eliminate it. And it's going to require risk. It's going to require a shit ton of hard work. It's going to require that you get rid of your victim mindset. It's going to require that you ditch the limiting beliefs. And that you get used to making mistakes and failing. It's gonna require more of you than you think, but I promise you it will be worth it. You are going to meet versions of yourself that you don't even know exist yet, and it's gonna be fucking beautiful. But you have to choose. You have to decide. It's about decisions. Where you are right now is because of you, and where you are 10 years from now is also up to you.
