For any reason jump back on and let us know in the weight room that you had dropped because we stopped letting new people in at about the 30 minute mark. So I just don't want to have you, you're off and then you can't get back in. If for some reason this doesn't usually happen but for some reason we disconnect because the technology just jump right back on and we'll pick right back off. We also are recording this so for any reason you cannot stay on. I encourage you to stay on the whole time because I'm going to do a lot of Q and A and each class is a little bit different. But for any reason we can send you because you were on the class, we'll send you a replay. We don't send a replay to people that weren't actually on the class. So just let us know you were on which one you were on and we'll send you. Send you the replay. So the way that it's going to go today I am going to be talking about fat loss as we age. I've got a very dialed in method that can help you a lot if you choose to let it help you. Now a little bit of a warning here. I I know many of you came on thinking I'm going to give you like really scientific nutrition and really detailed workout stuff. That's not what I'm doing. The reason why is that stuff is absolutely important. But there are more important things that go before that more important things and when we can nail and dial in these things, everything changes for you. Everything changes for you. So as much as I could talk to you for years about specific nutrition things and workout stuff like I do on my total body thrive, I'm going to talk to you about the more important bigger concepts first. Because those are the things that get you those radical results and I know that's what you are here for. So my first question to you and please write it in the comments if yes, are you open minded today? Can you be here to trust the process and be open minded with me? Yes. Yes. I love it. Because if you're not, probably not the class for you right now. If you're like no, I want the scientific stuff right now, probably not the class, I want to help you get radical results. So I want to share these bigger concepts with you first. They're super important. Okay, so why am I doing this class today? Why did I want to do fat loss as we age? A couple of reasons. Number one, there is a ton of information overload out there. You know that like, especially as we get up there in age, it's so confusing. You start going to Google or you follow people and they're like, oh, you know what, everything changes at 50, nothing works anymore. And then you go down rabbit holes of what you have to do, what you should change. And it's confusing. It's like, do I have to do keto? Do I have to do Paleo? Do I have to intermittent fasting? Am I supposed to get hormone replacement therapy? Do I just need to give up and accept it and be body positive or. There is just a lot of information overload out there. And one of the reasons I really wanted to do this session is I'm going to really simplify this for you and get you out of information overload because I have a thing against information overload. It's my journey where I started and I'll share that story a little later. But that was so deflating to have too much information and not know where to start on the number. The second reason I'm doing this for you today is my total body thrive, which I do a few times a year, opens again on the 13th. We start on the 13th. And the reason I do a free class first is being fully transparent with you. A few reasons. Number one, sometimes when I launch Thrive, people will say that you don't have the time or you don't have the money for it, can't afford it, whatever the reason. And this is my way to one, let you try on what I teach and thrive. Try it on, get a sampling of it and see. Okay, is Natalie Jill the coach for me someday or is she not the coach for me? That's one of the reasons. And you can see if you're a candidate for thrive by doing that. Number two is, although I'll tell people I have so much free information out there, it's very hard to learn from short TikTok videos and short YouTube YouTube videos and my little quick post on Instagram. So I wanted a deeper dive where I can actually give you the real information, the best of the information and you can really start to make a difference in your life. The third reason I'm giving it to you is, quite frankly, this method works. It works. I've helped over 255,000 women and some men lose the fat and keep it off. And I usually say release it because we don't find it again. So release the weight and keep it off. And I know this method works and this might sound hokey or weird or whatever, but this is truly my gift and my calling and my passion. I can't escape helping women with fat loss. I swear it follows me around, it follows me through my life with my pains and my injuries and what I navigate aging. And this is my calling to share this. And I would not be doing a good service, I wouldn't be living my passion if I wasn't sharing this with you. So those are the reasons I'm doing this today. Now the way that this class is going to work is I'm going to teach you three very specific concepts. I'm going to teach you three very specific concepts. I'm going to go deep on those. You'll have some questions but these are the three things that are going to get you set in the right direction. After I teach those three things in depth, I'm going to go into what thrive is and some of you are going to say yes, I want in. I'm a candidate and we're going to explore that. Some of you are going to go that's not for me and that's fine, whatever, wherever you are in that, we're going to cover that. After that, I'm going to open up to all questions and answers not just about thrive, but about this content, about what you're personally navigating, all of it. I'll stay on as long as needed to answer as many questions as you have. You'll be able to communicate with me direct on video like this or in chat. But that's going to be the process. I'm also towards the end going to let you hear from some other people, real live case studies that have walked through this method so you can get familiar with others and you will probably resonate with some of their stories. Ok so that is the process for today. Any questions so far? Simple. We are going to get to that. So stand by on that. Let me, let me help you help you learn this, help you learn this first. Ok so first I'm going to start with a little quick story because some of you are here for pain and inflammation. Why is when my adding pain and inflammation into what I teach? Well, let me tell you a little story. So, so about three years ago if you were to have googled my name 3 years ago I would have showed up as just this, a fitness expert, nutrition expert. You would have saw Natalie, Jill, abs, fitness, whatever. I became this fitness expert. I am 50 now, almost 51. The time this was around my age 47 but I was a fitness expert. And a later story on how that even happened But I was on set in Miami. I was in Sedona, Miami, for a big company and I was filming some really intense fitness workout videos. Really intense. And I was with some really big names in fitness. And I was the oldest, oldest one there. I was the 47 year old at the time. Everyone there was in their 20s, there might have been a 30 year old. Everyone was super jacked and fit and buff. And I was like, I am going to hang with them. I am going to do this. I can do it. So we are on set and there are cameras on us, and I am getting paid for this. And my ego is really being challenged because there are all these young, really fit people and we're doing some hardcore intense workouts. Now, if you followed me for a number of years, I teach body weight stuff. I don't teach hardcore intense. I teach body weight stuff. And that's how I train. So here we are doing these intense things that I don't normally do, like crazy jumping and just. I don't even know what we were doing. Crazy stuff. And I'm sweating. But you know when your ego kind of like takes over and you keep going? That's what I was doing. Kept going, going, going. Well, my back started hurting. Now, any of you, if I were to do an MRI on you right now, if we're, especially if we're approaching 40, in our 40s, older, 50s, 60s, we have some type of degeneration on our spine. Many of you are familiar with this. It's something that happens with age. Now, some people feel it, some people do not. But all of us would have some type of degeneration on our spine. And we feel it sometimes. So I felt it, but I felt this back pain and it just kept progressing. And I did what any, like, not dumb person would do. I kept working out like, I'm kidding, because why did I do that? But I kept going. I kept going. I'm like, I'm on set, they're paying me. I'm going to keep going, keep going. Nine hours I'm filming and my back is hurting. All of a sudden I get this crazy pain that is worse than labor. And any of you that have given birth, you know what I'm talking about. This is worse than any contraction. This was like the worst back pain I've ever felt in my life. And you know, we do kind of big things when we're in our head and we can get through things. I'm thinking, I got to power through this stuff. I remember I reached in my bag, I Had Myodol. Like, cramp medicine. Like, okay, I'm going to take my doll that maybe that'll help me. So I take the Milo. Now I have a caffeine buzz. My back is still hurting. Nothing is helping. And I keep pushing through. I don't even know how I keep pushing through, but I do. My ego took over. Anyways, go back to the hotel room. I'm in massive pain. I'm icing it. I'm doing whatever I can, trying to sleep. I wake up in the morning. I wake up in the morning and I cannot walk. My right leg is not working. My right leg is dragging on the floor. If any of you have ever had a rupture, you might know what I'm talking about. Right down my sciatic nerve path. My right leg stopped working and I got something called foot drop, which meant I was dragging my right foot on the ground. So I'm not knowing what's going on. My back stopped hurting, but now my leg isn't working. So somehow I get myself back to California. I'm like. I remember dragging, like, through the airport, like, checking all my luggage and dragging my leg, thinking I have piriformis syndrome. Something's wrong with my leg. I don't know what's wrong. I get back, I'm texting my friend who's a surgeon. He's like, you need to come in right now for an mri. The second you get back, I think I know what's going on. And I go in for the mri, and he calls me into his office. And you can see this. Let me show you this picture right here. Do you see? I have it upside down. You see this little thing right here? Can you guys see that? That is supposed to be inside here, but it was all out there. That's a massive disc rupture. And my surgeon said, that is the biggest disc rupture I've ever seen in my life. He said, you need surgery and you need it now. If you don't have surgery, your right leg might not ever work again. Okay? I had no question that I was getting surgery right then. Like, that's. My right leg is not going to work again. I'm having surgery. I go in, I have surgery just to remove the rupture. Just to remove it. Why do I tell this whole story? Why do I tell this whole story? Well, when this happened to me, I had a huge wake up call. I had a wake up call about a lot of things. I had a wake up call about aging, about paying attention to our bodies. About inflammation, about pain, and a massive one about ego. A massive one about ego. Do you know the first thought that went through my head when I was going into surgery was not, I hope I can walk again. My first thought was, how am I going to tell people that follow me for fitness? Like, what? That is what I was thinking. How am I going to tell people that follow me for fitness that I had a disc rupture? I felt like a moron. Like, how do I not know this? How did I not understand this?
I healed myself, I got into sharing and I learned so much about pain and inflammation because once you remove or once you have a disc rupture, there is no replacement there. I didn't get a fusion, I didn't get a disc replacement. I, I've navigated back issues over the years, so I had to learn what do I need to shift with my mindset, what do I need to shift with my diet, what do I need to shift with my workouts so I am not in pain and I can thrive. What do I need to do? And if that wasn't enough, and I'll keep going on some more stories later, but in the last three years, I had four, four major injuries. So it was like God's like, okay, that's not enough. It's not just the disc rupture. We're also going to tear your bicep. Dimple was on, she was with me when that happened. I'll tell that later. And we're also, we're also going to break your foot. Like all in the same, like three years, four surgeries, y', all four surgeries. So I've had to really learn this, really learn this and navigate hormones and navigate aging and navigate all this and still be able to help people. And you know what? I've mastered it. I have mastered it. I'm going to show you all these tricks, okay? And that's why I asked you at the beginning, are you open minded? Because this is not what you're expecting. This is not what you are normally seeing with, with a, somebody teaching nutrition and workouts. So that's why I said, are you ready for this? So, so I'm going to share, but I share that injury first to let you know I understand. No matter what your injury, you got knee thing, you got shoulder thing, you got whatever. This is why, okay? This is why. And Dimple was with me when I tore this bicep. So we'll talk about that a little bit later. Okay? I want to walk it back for you for a Minute. So why you. Being here is a really great move. First of all, remember I said only 20% of people actually do what they say they're going to do. And you're. You're there, so you're here. And I want you to know I can really help you. And I know this sounds like a lot of hype, but if you let me, I'm going to really help you right now. And there was a time, there was a time when I was worried about accomplishing goals because I always thought there was so much information overload. And we tend to not feel we can accomplish goals when there's too much information overload. So my question to you is, do you hear me on this? Are you ready? Are you ready? Tell me that you're ready. Say, yes, I'm ready. Okay. All right, remember, I'm going to. I'm going to talk about three concepts, and then I'm going to talk about thrive, and then I'm going to take all your questions. Ready? Ready. Ready. I love it. Pam, ready? Erica, ready? Yes. April's ready. We're all ready. All right, let's go. Okay. Number one. Number one, the first thing, the first thing in fat loss, breaking through pain, everything. Remember I said it's going to be simple. You have to make a decision. Ok, let me explain what that means. Most of you said or have said to me or my support team or to yourself. I have tried everything. Nothing works for me. Who knows that I've tried everything? That's not a decision. A decision is. I have decided. I have decided that this is the year that I am breaking through fat loss. I have decided I am getting in the best shape of my life. I have decided that I am no longer letting pain dictate my world. I have decided my rheumatoid arthritis is not going to get the best of me. I have decided that that hysterectomy I had is not making me gain 30 pounds. I have decided that 70 years old is young and I am going to still thrive. I have decided that I can have abs at age 60. I have decided that I can be in the best shape of my life. That is a decision. I have decided I am releasing the weight. So I want to know, have you decided? And let me explain a few examples here because I want to show you some real things because you are like, I just got on a masterclass for you to tell me to decide. Yes, you did. This is Terri when I met her.
Okay.
This is Terri when I met Terri, just like you. She had tried everything. She listed out, the diet she had tried the information overload, all the things she had done, tried, tried, tried, tried, ok? Everything she had tried, she said did not work. And I said, terri, stop telling me what you tried. What are you deciding? She said, well, I am deciding to try something. Nope, that is not a decision. I said, what are you deciding? And she had to tell me, I've decided, Natalie, that this is the year, this is the time that I'm releasing the weight. Great. What are you releasing? Well, I'm going to start with releasing 30 pounds. Okay. She decided by when I got her in a definitive decision that she was going to decide what's going to happen. And look, I want to show you Terri. Now, this came from deciding. If you ran into Terri and you say, what happened? How'd you get from here to here? She might tell you all about my plan and nutrition and what she learned, all the things. But she's going to tell you. I decided. I made a decision. I made a decision. I made a decision. Now, decisions are big. She decided she wasn't going to be that big size jean anymore. Like Terri has this picture of jeans she showed me as we worked together that she kept. She decided here that she was going to be this size jeans. She decided. She decided. This is men or women. I know there's a few men on here. This is Jim Walters. When I met him, Jim, genetically anyone would have said, you're overweight. This is genetics. He was in his 50s here. He had a lot of health problems, approaching type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure. He had pain, all the things. Anyone that saw him, he would say, I've tried everything. It's just my genetics, it's just this, it's just that. But I've tried everything. When I met Jim, he started following me because he wanted nutrition and fitness, all the things. And I said, what are you actually deciding, Jim, what is your decision? I need to know that before I work with you. What is your decision? And he said to me, I, I've decided that I'm going to be in the best shape of my Life, in my 50s. So much so is what he said. People are going to look at how fit I am and say, it must be genetics. So this is what he said to me. Look at Jim, look at Jim now. Look at this. This was his decision. And he's that now he realized his decision because when he was here, he decided this is who he was going to be. He decided. He decided this. He decided. Most of you are still trying I want to know what you decided. Another example, I love Oprah. Some of you remember watching Oprah. I mean, for years I watched Oprah. She's got, she doesn't have a show anymore, but she has, there's a podcast that replaced some of her episodes. And a few weeks ago I was listening to a replay of one of Oprah shows and she was talking about a, she was talking about toddlers. Like toddlers that want to sleep in their parents bed. How many of you remember those days, like you had, if you had a kid where your toddler wants to sleep in your bed and you're like, oh, should I or shouldn't I? Like you want to, but you know, it's not good for them, the whole thing. Remember that? I remember that. So anyway, she's talking on the show about toddlers and the moms are saying, how do I not have my toddler sleep in my bed anymore? She had a psychologist on. And the psychologist, you know, they're asking like, I've tried this method and I've tried that and I'm going to get this book and that. And a psychologist looked at the moms and she said, have you decided? Because when you decide that your toddler is no longer sleeping in your bed, your toddler will no longer sleep in your bed. How many of us know that to be true? Right? When you decide something, it becomes a reality. Now when you decide something, you can't just decide it in your head. You got to decide it and declare it. You got to tell people. You got to let the world know that you've made a decision. You've decided. So I'm going to ask you right now. We're just on zoom here with us. Step one, tell me in these comments here, tell us on the comments here, not me in a direct message. Tell the comments here what you've actually decided.
You're not there yet. You can write it on your little journal page or in your notes. But I want you to say, and it starts like this, like Zeta's on, April's on, or Doug, you say, I've decided I'm going to release £20. I've decided that I'm going to fill in the blank. I've decided I'm no longer letting pain dictate my world. I've decided I'm going to be a hot 70 year old. I've decided that my back pain is not going to stop me anymore. I've decided I'm releasing 10 pounds in the next month. I don't know what do you want to say, what have you decided? I've decided I'm going to be. People are going to be asking me what I did to get my awesome six pack. I decided. What are you decided? Tell me what you decided. This is your first step. You got to declare what you decide when you decide. I love that. Lydia, this is so good. I decided that this is the year I released 30 pounds and not let my injuries rule my life. Yes. That is a decision. I want you to feel that decision when you say it. I have decided they will be hot glamour. I love that. Yes. I have decided that I am getting into the best shape of my life and releasing it.
I am.
I love it. You make a decision when you've got that there. When you are definitive and your decision and your declaration, it comes to fruition. That is step one. This is before any action. Right. Decision. Deciding comes first. You have heard that quote, deciding comes first. Remember I told you at the beginning of this class, some of this stuff would sound basic to you, but they are the most important things. And I know nutrition, I know workouts and I know all the trainers and nutritionists out there that teach these great methods. They're skipping the steps. When we skip these steps, we can't get results. Deciding comes first. Yes. I love what you all are writing here. I decided to release 50 pounds and feel healthy and happy. So I'm going to release £10 in the next month. But, yes, these are great. These are decisions. I love them. Are you ready for concept number two? Who's ready for concept number two? Let me just. I'm going to put it on where I can see everybody's face for a minute and just wave to me. You can see. Yes. If you're on. If you're on camera, by the way. Thank you. I don't know if you guys have ever done like public speakers speaking or spoken to a group, but it's really not motivating to speak to black boxes. It's just not. So when I can see your face and you're smiling back, it makes me feel really good. So thank you for showing up and doing that. I love it. Yeah, it's. If I wish for any of you that are on a black box that you don't have to speak to black boxes one day because it's not. It feels. It feels a little funny. A lot of people teach classes over zoom webinar where. And I can't see faces them. But I like. I love to see your face and be able to chat with you so thank you for that. Okay, concept number two, ready. Are you ready? All right. Number dimples in the bath. Yeah, Dimple. You can leave your camera off. Thank you. We don't need to see. Okay. That's okay, April. But I appreciate those of you that are camera on the camera. Thank you. Ok, part number two, ready for this? Concept number two is vision. Vision. Let me explain before you go. What, what do you mean? Vision is knowing exactly where you are headed, what you want, and acting from that place. Let me give you a few examples. When we focus on possibility versus circumstance, we are operating from vision. Most of us by human nature operate from circumstance. Circumstance means what's going on in our world. Our diagnosis, our injury, how we feel, our financial situation, our spouse, our boss. Those are all circumstances. The traffic, the weather, where we live. Circumstance. All of that is circumstance. When we operate from possibility, we are not operating from circumstance and we are operating from vision. It is a matter of shifting from problem to possibility, problem to possibility. It is a mindset shift. You'll hear a lot of coaches say, I got to shift your mindset. And no one knows what that means. So I'm explaining what this means. What it means is we get into possibility over problem, operating from our vision. Let me explain my original story here. Some of you have seen this before, some of you, this is new to you, okay? This is me 15 years ago. I got to like whisper because my, my 15 year old is sleeping downstairs and when she sees me show this picture, she's always like, mom? Really? That was like 15 years ago. Yeah. I'm going to show it to you though. This is 15 years ago. This was me. I just had my daughter with my dog Beam. Some of you remember I used to do videos with Beam. This was me. But I want you to look closely at me. Yes, I just had a baby, but I am five foot two and I gained 60 pounds. 66. Zero. I didn't say 30. I didn't say 20. I said 60. So. And the 60 pounds was not from her because she weighed six pounds and my placenta did not weigh 54 pounds. It just didn't. So this was eating McDonald's French fries. This was eating chocolate fudge sundaes. This was being depressed. Why was I depressed? Well, not just hormone changes from having a baby, but this was 2007. Anyone remember what was going on? Especially in the US in 2007, we were in a massive financial breakdown. Anyone that owned a home was struggling right now in 2007, I was not only losing my house I was getting a divorce. I was overweight, I was hormonal. I had a full time job that I was going to have to take a voluntary demotion for because I had to travel and I couldn't do that as a new single mom mom. I had the weight of the world on me. And I was only 36 years old at the time. And I was clinically depressed. There was four months where I did not want to get out of bed. The only reason I got out of bed was to feed my daughter and take care of her. That was it. I was miserable. I didn't want to look at myself, I didn't want to get dressed. I had my hair in a messy bun the whole time. I just wanted to eat junk. It made me feel better. And I was very much living in my circumstance. Who knows a time when you were living in your circumstance, Maybe you are now. I was in my circumstances. All I could think about was how I, what I didn't have, what wasn't working for me, what was lacking in my life, what sucked, how I hated my ex husband at the time. Like, like everything. It was very much circumstance. When you live in circumstance, you cannot achieve big results. I want to be really clear. When you are in circumstance, you can't achieve big results. Why? Because in order to create a new reality for yourself, you have to have very strong thoughts, actions and habits.
Very strong thoughts, actions and habits. And you need a surround sound of it. Meaning you need a team. You need people speaking into those thoughts, actions and habits. For you. If you are in circumstance, it has to be interrupted. It is very challenging to do this on your own. You have got to create a surround sound of people supporting your new thoughts, actions and habits. And you can get into vision. So let me take you back to that moment I just described. What changed for me after those four months. Well, I was walking one day, I was getting myself out of the house and walking and I started walking. And I am walking up a hill with my bob stroller and my two labs at the time and my daughter. And I'm miserable. I'm sure I had sunglasses on. I was probably crying walking up the hill in my circumstance with that loop, that loop, that loop, you know, that loop in your brain. You suck, Natalie. You're a loser, Natalie. You're overweight, Natalie. Actually, I wasn't even that nice to myself. I was like, you're fat, Natalie. You're dumb, Natalie. Like, what's wrong with you? Like why are you getting a divorce? Why are you broke? You're fake. You're like that loop. You know that loop. We're meaner to ourselves than we would be to our worst enemy. We are meaner to ourselves. And you. You all know that loop. You know that loop. I'm walking with the loop. With the loop. With the loop. And I see this window. And with that window, there's a mirror reflection. You know those windows? You can, like, kind of see it's dark shadow. You see a mirror. And I saw myself. Like, I really saw myself for a minute. And something hit me in that moment. Seeing myself, I saw the meanness I was telling myself. And it was becoming that reality and that vision. And all I was doing was looping this. You suck. You're fat. You're overweight. You're depressed. You're this, you're broke. And I could just see it staring back at me. And I had a moment with myself where I actually looked in my eyes.
Sunglasses down, looked in my eyes, and it was this moment of, is this really where we end up? Is this really where we end up? Is this all there is? We are just going to give up. You have a baby, you gain weight, you have massive setbacks. Do we just give up? It was just a moment with myself. It was a reality check. And I'm hoping right now this is a reality check for you about this conversation. For you. It was a question I asked myself, is this all there is? Is this where I want to stay? And for a moment, for a moment, I had a thought of possibility. Could there be something else? Could there be a different way for me right now? Could there be something else? And I held on to that. And as I walked home, I thought about possibility. What if? What if? And it was like, it would go like this. Like, what if there's this. And then it would be that voice. But you suck. But what if this. But you, you know, So I had to, like, keep. It's the what if? And then the voice of telling you that you suck. I get home, I turn on my favorite show, Oprah, who I mentioned earlier, and she's talking about vision. And she had Lisa Nichols on. Lisa Nichols happens to be my coach right now. I work with her. I love her, but at the time, she was just someone on tv. And I hear her talking about vision for the first time, and I get really excited. And it's the first time I feel excited in months. Like, vision, huh? So she talked about something called vision boards. And I didn't really understand what a vision board was. I call them decision boards now. Decision boards because, you know, deciding comes first. And I grabbed a bunch of magazines back when we used to read magazines. Now we're always on like social media and Google and whatever, but remember we used to read magazines and I grabbed a bunch of magazines and I pulled out pictures of anything, of anything that looked like it would light me up. Something like a fit girl or an ocean view or a happy couple or a mom and a daughter that were happy or anything that made me feel like, huh, that kind of gave me a little like pep in my. Pep in my step, you know. And I cut those pictures out and I put them on this board and I stared at it and I thought, wow. I noticed this connection that when I would look at pictures that made me feel better. It lit a charge in me that got me into possibility. And I realized in that moment that that was how we break this issue of being stuck in problem. We have to force a thought, a vision of what we want, what we want to create. We have to force that in order to operate from there to create a new reality. This is making sense to you all. If it is, just tell me. Yes, just let me know if it's making sense. If it's not, you can tell me. No, but I'm curious if this is resonating with you. Okay. Yeah. Because you know, most of us are operating from circumstance. We can't help it. It's how we're wired. But if we can operate from what we want, what we want to create, we can change our whole reality. Sometimes, sometimes when I talk about this, someone will ask, you know, but is a, is a vision board. Woo woo. Is that like, is that real? Well, no. A vision board is not going to work if you just put pictures and like sit there and you think it's just going to happen. That doesn't happen. You don't put like a Porsche on your vision board and just, oh, well, I have a Porsche. It's not what happens. What, what a vision board to me replicates what it means. It's a decision board. Is. I'm going to look at that board and I'm going to ask myself, Natalie, if you are the girl living in that board, if that is you right there living in that board, what is it you would have to do today? Who would you have to surround yourself with? What would you have to learn? What would you have to know? How would you have to eat? What would you have to listen to to become that? How would that. It's operating from your future self. And when you start Taking actions from your future self, you become your future self. Does this make sense? This resonating. It's landing. Do you see why this is more important as a first step before just beating yourself up at the gym?
If we go into the gym and beat ourselves up on a workout or starve ourselves with some diet that's super deprivation focused, that doesn't taste good and we are operating from circumstance, we are not going to sustain. How in the world could you sustain that? How do you, in the world do you eat food you don't like and like do all this stuff when you're operating from circumstance? You can't do that. Wouldn't it be amazing if you can get into vision and then learn a proper way that feels good, then you're going to create your reality.
So vision is that second step. Now I just shared about my story and now for my team that's on right now. Just let's not let new people in if we can just because we're. It's going to be confusing if we start letting new people in right now. Okay, I'm going to share just a couple of stories here. So this is Nicole when I met her. Oh, by the way, let me just. I just shared my story. By the way, you know that girl that I showed you, I forgot to show you this. So this girl that I showed you here in circumstance would have never imagined that I'd be on the COVID of all these magazines in my 40s. Like, no, never would have, wouldn't have been in my wildest dreams. But when I was able to operate from vision, that's how I became her. So this is Nicole. This is when I met Nicole. Now, Nicole was just like many of you. She could afford anything. The bag that she wanted, the trip that she wanted. She had money to do what she wanted, but she couldn't afford to fix her body. What is that? Like she couldn't, she couldn't pay for like the best trainer, nutrition plan, whatever. Because nothing was working for her, because she was trying everything. Nothing was working. So she said, natalie, everything in my life is working for me except for my weight. And now because her weight's not working, she's in pain. And now her confidence has changed and it's affecting her work, her life, it's affecting everything. This was who she was. She was operating from circumstance. She was operating from circumstance. So I asked Nicole, what is your decision? And she decided she was great. She decided she was going to release the weight. I'm going to release 50 pounds. She decided okay, Next I asked, what is it that you want? What is the vision of that? What does that look like? And she started to tell me the problems. Now, as you've just learned, we can't operate from problem. We have to get into possibility. So I got Nicole to really focus on what is your vision? What do you want to create? And I don't want to hear. I'm just. I want to be skinny or I want to be a size 6 or what? That doesn't. That's not a vision. A vision is describe what it looks like, what it feels like, all of that when you get to that new reality. So she got into big detail. She said, natalie, I'm going to be in that red fitted dress. I'm going to feel so confident in it. I'm going to love putting it on. I'm going to walk into a room. All heads are going to turn. I'm going to feel so confident, and people are going to ask me, what are you doing? You look amazing. She described the dress to me that she'd be wearing. So it wasn't just a size. It was what she would look like, what she would feel like, what it would be like. She was so clear on her vision. Remember, she said it was a red dress. This is her. Now. Look at her. Look at Nicole. Now. She became her vision not because she operated from circumstance here. She became this vision because this girl here started taking actions that this girl here would take. We become our vision from operating from our vision.
That's how we become that. That's how we become that. We operate from our vision.
Now, if we were to all decide right now that we were going to go on a trip, all of us. Somebody tell me a place in the comments where we want to go. Where's our trip? Somebody tell me in the comments where we go on vacation. Let me just see what comes up.
See? Where are we going on vacation? Costa Rica. Portia. Aruba. Oh, you guys have some good ideas. I see a theme of Costa Rica, though, huh? Okay.
England.
Oh, I like that. The Dimple rain. England. No, Thailand. I've never been to Thailand. Okay, I'm gonna pick Costa Rica because a lot of you wrote that. So we're all going to Costa Rica. Let's just say we're all going to Costa Rica. Don't worry. I got a babysitter for your kids. Your boss knows you're gone. It's all paid for. Your spouse is cool with you going. We're all going to hang out. We're super clear on our trip, no circumstance issues. We're all excited about our trip. We know what we're wearing there, what we're going to have in our hand as a drink, what we're eating, what the weather is going to be like, what we're going to be doing, how we're going to be having fun. We're clear. Honor of everyone, I want you to just picture, picture the picture for a minute. Even if you picked someplace else, Bali, or picture Costa Rica for one moment. We're all going there. We're excited. This group is going to. We're going to have so much fun. We're going to be on the beach. It's beautiful, it's sunny, it's warm. We're eating really great fresh fruits. And we're all clear on our vision, right? Ok, we're all clear. We pick our date. Now, how we get there might be very different methods. Some of you might be able to drive. Some of you already live there. Some of you are going to have to fly. Some of you might take a boat.
Some of you are already there. You're going to Uber. I don't know. We're all going to get there because we're clear on our vision. Now. How we get there didn't matter, but we got clear on our vision. We're all supporting each other's vision and we got there. That's vision. When you go get in your car later today, those of you going to get a car later today, do you ever just get in your car and go, I don't know, I'm going to. I'm just going to get in my car and just drive. Do you ever do that?
No.
No, you don't do that. If you don't do that, you get in your car and you're like, I'm going to the drugstore, I'm going to the restaurant, I'm driving to the beach, I'm driving to the gym, I'm driving to pick up my kids, whatever, you know where you're going. Why aren't we doing that with our bodies? Why are we not getting clear on where we're going with our bodies first?
When you don't get clear on it first, it will not work.
It will not work.
About to get into the third concept and then after that, I'm going to talk a little bit about thrive. But what I want to share with you is.
Everyone I showed you so far, Nicole, myself, even Jim, Walters.
Terri, that picture here, all of them, the way they got from here to here.
Was the thrive method that I teach where we go deep onto these areas first, because nutrition and workouts are important. Absolutely. But this part is more important. When we master these areas, decision and vision, the action becomes easier. The action becomes easier. Ok, I am going to get into concept number three, which is, you probably guessed it already. Number three is the action. Now you have to take action. You have to eat different, you have to move your body, you have to do those things. However, we are putting them in the wrong order. Most people tell you to start with those things. You can't start with those things you do. Starting with that and expecting a different result is the definition of crazy. Like you're literally just doing something over and over again, hoping you're going to get different result. But we haven't operated from changing the software first. You know, sometimes you go to your computer and it's just not working. It's not working. It's not working. And you have to update it. Doesn't matter how much emails people send you, how many more apps you add or whatever, it's still not going to work right until you update the software.
I get that little notification sometimes, like my computer's not running and I get that little thing spinning and it's like, you must update your software. And I don't want to. I don't want to. I'm like fighting it. Like, I don't want to update my software. Come on. I don't want to. Want to take 10 minutes to update it. Like I don't want to. I just want to keep, keep working. I got work to do. I got stuff to do. I got to move. I got to move. I want to get in action. But we know when we finally press update and we take those 10 minutes and we just let it update, what happens, Everything works better. So I want you to update your software before we take these actions. So action is next. But action feels hard if we haven't done these first steps and updated our software.
Everything you have learned, every one of you, everything you have learned in your life has gotten you to right now, right here today. Everything. In order to get different results, we have to change those thoughts, actions and habits. We have to upgrade that software and we have to create a surround sound of people that help you stay in that zone so you can create a different result.
So action is the nutrition and the workout part. But I don't know how to be more clear that it has to come after. Now when we talk about nutrition and workouts, I'm going to give you some very general Things right now, very general, because I go really deep into this and thrive and because this is not the big takeaway from today. My big takeaway from today is going to be decision and vision. These other steps, I got you on them. I got you and thrive on them, but I'm going to just touch on them a little bit. Number one. Number one with action is we have to focus. This is, again, going to sound basic. We have to focus on adding in more of the good foods, which makes less room for the not so good. That sounds really basic. I know, but let me explain. Most diets, most plans, tell you all the things you can't have. You can't have carbs, you can't have sugar, you can't have dairy, you can't have this, you can't have that. Can't have all these things. Now, what happens when we're told what we can't have? We start hyper focusing on all the things that we can have. And we won't get mad at ourselves for craving them. And then we're mad at ourselves that we fell off the wagon and we didn't do it right. And we go back to information overload and we're confused.
What I want you to do is I want you to focus on how do I add in more of the good. Now, I could go over what's good, but you guys know this, okay? And I go over really detailed and thrive, like why these things are good. But just going to give you basics. If you focus on natural, real food. Natural, real, unprocessed food. I don't care what guru out there on the carnivore diet is telling you that that's dumb to focus on unprocessed, real food. Unprocessed, real food is key. When you eat natural, real foods that once grew. Natural foods that once grew. Fruits, vegetables, proteins, nuts, seeds, olive oil, healthy foods, things that make sense. Avocado. We focus on adding in more of the good water, those foods, we make less room for the not so good. We make less room for the not so good. Let me tell you about Allison real quick. This is Allison when I met her. Now, Allison was so clear on decision and vision. She got. She was in. She's like, I, Natalie, I get it. I do it with my business. I get it with my world. I'm on fire. I get what you're saying. Decision, vision, decision, vision. I am clear. In fact, she had even had gastric bypass surgery because of her decision. And she gained it all back. Why? Because the diets that she Was learning, was too focused on deprivation. And Allison liked Cheez its. This was her thing. She was like, I love Cheez its. She would describe, like the salty and the orange and the whatever. Like she loved Cheez its. She's like, I'm not giving up my Cheez Its. Ok, awesome. Got it. But you're deciding and you're in your vision. Allison, I want you to forget giving up your Cheez Its for a minute. Forget it. We're going to focus on all these things that I teach you in thrive that you can eat. All these foods that you can eat. There's a lot of them. You get these foods in every day from these groups. You get them in first. If you still want your Cheez Its, you get to have them. Oh, there's so much freedom in that. Think about that. There's so much freedom. When I'm like, you can have all these good foods. You know what happened? She stopped wanting Cheez Its. Why did she stop wanting Cheez Its? Because she changed her taste buds. She felt so good from what I was teaching. And she was operating from decision and vision. She had the support system to stay there that she stopped craving the Cheez its. Look at her now. Look at this. She operated from decision, vision. She didn't have to give up anything. She learned about addition, and we changed everything.
Nutrition. I teach you exactly how to eat, what to eat, but we focus on it feeling rewarding. I am not a fan of self beat up or telling you all the things you can't have. Now I'll teach you why artificial sweeteners are going to mess up your hormones. I'm going to teach you that. I'm going to teach you what happens when you have too much sugar. I'm going to teach you why too many starches will create cravings. I'm going to teach you why not having fat in your diet is a big problem. I'm going to teach you why extreme, extreme diets that are out there, there's a lot of them, will mess everything up and age you fast. I will teach you why keto and carnivore will age you rapidly. I'll teach you all of that. But we're going to do it from a place of not depriving ourselves. We do it from a place of empowerment, of winning, of success. Because that's the way to do it. And that feels good. And that's how I get and how I've gotten 255,000 people. Radical results.
Now, why am I so passionate about this? Well, I'm 50, almost 51. As I shared my dad. My father died at age 49. He died at age 49. Now, how did he die? He died of a heart attack. Died of a heart attack. My dad had a belly. He wasn't overweight, but he had the belly. And now it was distended organs. He had pain. He had lots of pain in his body. Inflammation. Pain causes inflammation, which is not good for us.
He did not eat healthy. He didn't drink. He didn't smoke. He wasn't very active. He didn't work out. He certainly wasn't in a place of decision and did not live from vision. He lived very much from circumstances. And my dad dropped dead of a heart attack at age 49.
Now, that was sad for him, but it was sadder for us. My dog, my sister, was 12. I was 22. My brother was 20. My mom was only 47 when it happened. He never met his five grandkids. He never saw me grow up. He didn't walk me down the aisle. None of it. When I talk to you about getting healthy and losing weight, it is not just for you. It is for those people around you that love you and care about you, too. Make that your bigger why? This is not about what I feel like doing for you. I want you to understand this. This is more than that. It's a bigger picture. Do you want your spouse, your kids, your friends, your world to not have you?
You can change all of this. You can change all of this.
At the beginning of this, I told you I was going to teach you three concepts. And then I'm going to share an opportunity with you. And I'm about to do that. And then after that, I'm going to take all questions and answers. I'm going to share that opportunity with you because I think some of you are going to be a heck yes. And for some of you, you're not going to be a heck yes. And that's fine. And I just want you to understand that what I share with you is this is not a now or never. This is a now or whenever you are ready to now or whenever you are ready. But I love to work with action takers. I am a tough coach. You have kind of gotten a taste of me today. I hold people accountable to their vision. I get them in their decision in their vision, and I get them into action and I hold them accountable to me. I only work with a select group of people, and they're heck yes people. They're heck yes people. So as I show you this opportunity, I just want you to know it is not for everyone. Okay. So it's only for you. So if at any point you're clear, this is not for you, it's okay. I just don't want you to stay on. Cause I'm going to answer your questions, but I just want you to understand what this is. And I'm going to have my team put the link for Total Body Thrive. If you could do that. Total Body Thrive, which has price, information, all the stuff on there. On the 13th, I start something called Total Body Thrive. It's a method I have developed over 12 years and I have over 255,000 success stories which I'm happy to share any of them with you. It's a version, it's. If you've done my past programs like Seven Day Jumpstart, you've read my books, Aging in Reverse, any of those, it's that method times a hundred. I've dialed in this method and it's called Total Body Thrive. I've narrowed this down into an eight week process where we go through a process together and I'm going to actually share my screen right now.
Share. Tell me if you can see this. Let's see. I'm not a good tech person, so let me see if I can share the screen.
Oops.
Rachel, can you guys see this? Rachel, can you immune. Tell me if this is showing up.
Yes, we can.
Okay, good. You guys can see it. Okay, I'm not a very good. Rachel's my, my tech helpy. So that Rachel's my tech genius over there. She's got to be on or I'll mess this up. Okay, so what happens is when you log on to Total Body Thrive, you get. It's not like a download and forget, you're on your own thing. This is a whole membership where we start. Like you're going to start week one prep week where I'm going to walk you through finding your driving core motivator, your vision, how do we decide and declare, how do we get out of problem versus possibility? All this you are going to feel during week one and week two the most elated you have ever felt in your life. You are going to feel so on point, like you can take on the flipping world. I am going to get you so in your power, you're going to like you're. There's not going to be a doubt in your mind that you're going to achieve your goal. You're going to feel so good. Then by week three, we are already Starting to learn nutrition, everything, and you start knocking out the pain cycle. How do. Why do we not calorie count? Why is it important not to calorie count? Why is the scale not moving sometimes? Like, why do we hate the dang scale? How do we build a meal on our own so I don't have to follow your plan, Natalie? How do I stay out of pain if I have lower back pain? How do I fix that? So by week three, we're dropping a lot of weight. Usually by week, end of week one, you're down at least five pounds. Then you're about two pounds of fat each week to follow. So by week three and four, you're like, on fire. You might be down 10 pounds by then. And we're just getting into it here. Now we're really going to talk about what happens with specific foods, how to manipulate things, how to change it. So this works for wherever you are in your life. We go through eight weeks of this. How to deal with grocery shopping, prepping, should I take supplements and if so, what? How do I keep my fridge stocked for success? What do I do if I go to a restaurant? I got you covered on everything. We go through all of this now. There's bonuses, there's follow along workouts that are an option. There is a follow along journal. There's all the things. There's all the things to keep you on track. And then in addition to that, we have a live weekly Zoom call with me. Just like this. We're on weekly. I give you at the beginning of thrive, all the dates for it so you can mark your calendar. We move it around each week, different times, different days. That way some of you won't be able to attend all of them. We always record them. We always get your questions ahead of time. And it's directly me. Now some of you are like, okay, well, how much action do I really get to you, Natalie? You get me direct. So not only do you have the program where I'm teaching you, you have me weekly on Zoom. I'm the one leading the call. I'm on there with you answering all the questions. And you get an optional private Facebook group where all questions are answered. So you get to meet others going through this process and supporting you. And you have my coaches really working with you on this. So it's radical results that happen. Now I'm going to put the link right there and I know some of you have questions and I under. I also want to point out that for some of you, this is an easy financial Heck yes. Like you're, like, I'm in. This is easy for me. I got it. And for some of you, it's not an easy financial yes. And I get that. And for those of you that it's not an easy financial yes, I'm going to just ask you to consider moving mountains. Why? Because it is a lifeline and I am going to get you to your vision. And if I can get you to your vision and you can release the weight and you can be out of pain and you can thrive and you have got me as a surround sound talking to you, working you through this for eight weeks. You become a different version of yourself and you can take on the world. And that version of yourself, what typically happens, you start earning more money, you want to start your own business, you find the love of your life because you're in a different place. You're operating from an upgraded software.
So from that place you are truly thriving. How do you stay motivated after the eight weeks? Jane, I totally set you up to win there. I make it so you don't need me forever now. If you want me forever, you can have me forever. I promise. But I make it so I set you up to win. So you are in this pattern. It takes eight weeks to really learn the new actions, habits and thought processes to stay in it. And then you keep going and you have access to the program forever. So you always can go back. You always can go back. You always can go back. Lyssa, it is totally different than seven Day Jumpstart. Seven Day Jumpstart is this the skeleton of it? So the method is similar, but Thrive is a live program. So we go way deeper on every single thing that you've learned in seven day or an aging in reverse. And we're live on zooms working through this. It's a live interactive program. This is for people that really want to take action and want radical results. It is not for you if you're not ready for that. It is not for you if you are not ready for that.
Ok, I promise I would take some questions and I want to start taking questions. I want to start taking questions. You can either raise your hand live or you can write it in the comment. And it could be a question about anything I taught today. It could be a question about the Thrive program. It could be a question about your personal situation. But I want to take those questions. Um, please ask me what time and day are the lives, Gwendolyn, we move them around because I realize people are on different time zones. So what Happens is we will send out a schedule so you'll have all eight of them and we pick like different days, different times, and we record all of them. So the chances are you, you won't necessarily attend all of them, but you'll be able to attend some of them for sure. Some people are on all of them, but we give you. So we'll move some early morning, some at night. We change them all around. We change it all around. Now, Jen, if you signed up for it before, you have access to the last program. So it's the same program. You have access to that. What you don't have access to is the Zooms and the group. So what you might want to do, Jen, is do the alumni. If you message my team, if you can message Jen with the alumni link, there's an alumni link, meaning if you've done Thrive before, you always have access to the program, but you get a discounted link to participate in the Lives and the Zoom, all of that.
So yeah, Rita. Yes, much more content than Full Body Reset, but more organized. Full Body Reset was the program I had before Total Body Thrive. I've discontinued that. It was too much of a fire hose, I felt. So we've dialed it in, took the best of it, but made a bunch of new content to get to the next thing. Gwendolyn, how many people are allowed? We will not have more than 150 new people and thrive, period. So. So, and on the group calls, they'll probably be about, if I were to guess, about 80 people on a group call at a given time. So you get a lot of attention and there's no more than that in the group other than my coaches. You get all the support you need and you all. Failure is not an option, by the way. Failure is not an option. Why? Number one, you got me and I don't. I won't let you fail. That's number one. Number two, we do an action takers guarantee, meaning you do thrive, you do thrive, you show up, you do the calls, you do the workbook, you do the method and you don't get results, I will give you back your money. I'm that confident you're going to get results. Now. It's not a money back guarantee like just you get it and you don't want to do it and now you get your money back. It's an action takers because I want people to sign up that are accountable and that want to take action. If you're actually doing my method and I can't get your Results I would not deserve to get paid. And I want to share with you that in 12 years I have offered that and not one person has ever taken me up on it. Why? Because either people don't do the work, which is rare, or they show up and they do it and they're getting results. So there's no reason for it.
But absolutely.
What help.
Would help?
Any other question? Let me, let me answer all questions and then I'm going to. Rachel, if you could get ready to show kind of. I want to show that video from other people in just a second. How do we deal with issues like hormones, menopause and weight gain? Zeta, the method is what I take you through in here. So the way you deal with hormones, menopause and weight gain is they are very real. They are very real. However, when we talk about decision and vision and in thrive, we go deeper into this. There's something I call false assumed truths. When I say I kill fat, it's false assumed truths. False assumed truth is anytime we are told, something is going to result in something else. So, for example, hormones and menopause and weight gain are very real. Those are factual. But what they have to mean is not factual. They're false assumed truth. So with hormones, the first thing we have to rewind and with menopause is the belief set around that. Now, that might feel hokey, as I say that, but if on this session you started to notice some things I was sharing about vision and decision, you start to get where I go with this. We have to first believe in the possibility that it doesn't have to be that way. When I tell someone I'm 50 years old and they see me and they say, what, you're 50? You don't look 50, my answer to that is, what's 50 supposed to look like? Like, why do we believe that?
That's.
We're being trained to believe that something has to mean something. When our doctors are telling us because of your age, you're supposed to gain weight, that we're not going to accept that answer anymore. What I want you to do is I want to get you into a different place of thinking and believing and understanding. And then I teach you the science. Then I teach you the science. And now we approach how we're eating, which how I teach, by the way. You get very specific meal plans, Very specific meal plans. And you choose. And I help you navigate what you choose because when you join, you're going to fill out an intake form. So for instance, Azadeh, when you join Thrive, you get an intake form, you're going to fill that out into great detail. I'm going to see your age, I'm going to see what you've already done, all the things, and we review these and we really customize each class towards that. So then what happens is there's three different meal plans to choose from. So some of you, you'll just be starting out in your fat loss journey. So you're going to get a basic first level meal plan where I'm teaching you how to unprocess your diet. Some of you are more advanced, you've got, you've already been really watching things and you are in active menopause, you are in massive hormones shifts, you are having allergies or reactions. And I'm going to put you on a different meal plan. I'm going to put you on one where we remove dairy and grains and we really dial in the nutrients we're getting to help address and get radical results. So with that meal plan, whichever one I put you on, you're going to start releasing weight pretty quickly. And what's typical to happen is you'll lose about five pounds week one, because in addition to fat, we lose that excess water and bloat we're holding onto, especially because of hormones. And then week two and on, you start losing about two pounds of fat loss per week, which is healthy and normal and works. And you start changing your cravings, you start changing how things go and your hormones start actually balancing from that. You see, there's something I teach in thrive and I'll just tell you real quick now, if you were to walk by a clear body of water, a clear body of water and throw one piece of trash in it, you would notice what's creating the issue. But when we walk by a dirty body of water with lots and lots and lots of trash in it, lots of junk. If we throw another piece of trash in there, we don't even notice it. We don't even notice it. What happens sometimes with menopause hormones, all of that, we don't even realize that how we're eating and this environment we created between our mind, what we're eating, how we're moving, has made this big muddied thing of water. We don't know what's now correcting, making our hormones and our hot flashes and all that. So we got to clean it up first. So we clean it up, we get to a basic state first. And now we know exactly what's affecting it. We know exactly what's Affecting it.
Um, in your past plans. Okay. So, Tammy, there are two meal plans and a build a meal plan. So there's three meal plans. So that if you've done a Thrive before, Tammy, it is the same information. What changes each thrive is we add additional information. So there's always a little bit new, like a guest speaker, new stuff, and you get the new group and the new Zooms. So that's why if you've done Thrive before, you would do the alumni, which is a discounted rate. You don't need the whole repurchase because you're basically paying for the new group and the new Live sessions. I hope that answers your questions.
Yes. So for me, I'm almost 52 and I have not gained any weight and I have no issues in inflammation. That's amazing. But I definitely want to change my body comp. Yes, Nicole, it's still a good plan for you. It's still a good plan. You won't lose more weight than you need to. So if you're already fit and you're like, I just want to change and get more muscular, I want to build muscle, you still are going to walk through the same process and you'll focus more on less restriction, which there's not a lot of restriction on here, but you'll see what I mean when you're in there. And we would coach you towards what your goal is so you can truly customize this. The reason I do the Live sessions, by the way, is I don't believe one plan fits all, and I do need to customize. So the reason I do the live sessions with you all is customization. Is customization. So I can help each of you. And it's fun because some of you really show up hard on these Zoom calls. You really show up and you're, you know, you're there with all your questions and you get all the coaching. And I think it's amazing. And some of you don't, never don't take full advantage of it. And I'm going to encourage you take full advantage of that during it because I really can help you really can help you when you're doing it.
And I just checked real quick. How long is the program? It's eight weeks. And if you want to go to the link, and my team keep putting. Put the link back again. And by the way, if we can acknowledge Liza or Rachel, put some names in that. I just saw some people join Thrive and I want to congratulate them. So let them know. And then, Rachel, do you. Can you Start that video. You guys, I want to share a video. Rachel's going to play it for you. She's going to share. I want you to hear from some other members of Thrive Method, like what they. Where they started, what they accomplished, what they went through. And while she's doing that, I'm going to still answer questions and I'm going to come back on and answer more questions. And Andrea, we do a. We have. You get the Thrive app on your phone, but you'll. We give you a journal that you can actually write down everything in there with air. We do not track calories or macros and Thrive and you'll learn why, but I'm not a fan of that. So you'll track what you're eating, but we're not going to do it from calories or macros. Rachel, are you in a place to share it? Okay. Just want to.
Rachel, your volume's off.
Sorry about that.
53 years old. I'm from the Portland, Oregon area, and I'd like to tell you a little bit about what I experienced. And I'm having a little bit of a celebration because I've spotted my collarbone. I have not seen that in how long. For me, I average about a pound of weight loss a week. I'm continuing to lose, but more importantly, it was like 9 inches I had lost. Hi, everyone. My name is Anita Collier and I'm from Plain, Indiana, and I'm 53 years old. Ended up losing 20 pounds. Seemed like easy, just effortless. How do you put up action? I lost about 20 pounds. My very first drive with Natalie, I lost 25 pounds.
I kept it off.
My name is Lisa. I'm 53 years old and from Plainfield, Illinois. I lost 16 pounds in five months. I still have a little bit more to go, but I'm in great shape. I'm much happier, a lot more energy. Since I started the plan six weeks ago, I've lost £20. I love my body right now, and.
I'm going to love it.
30 pounds lighter.
I love it. And that, you know, that is the.
Biggest change that I have seen. It is possible to lose the weight forever and feel great and accomplish your goals. I am now down 12.4 pounds. I'm like, so excited. I've been wearing the sports bra and I'm like, wow. Actually, I actually look nice. And then the other day I did yoga after a long time and I was the poses and stuff and I was like, wow. Like, I could do it without my gut, like, hanging. And I know. And then the yoga instructor was like.
Wow, what have you done?
You've lost so much weight. Ms. Dina I live in Utica, New York. I'm 42 years old. Since I joined, I'm 12 pounds lighter. I'm motivated, I have healthier habits. My name is Lori bushnell. I've lost £20, £20 so far. And I feel so good. My name is Corey Boney. I live in Christ River, Florida. I have faced many health challenges my entire life. So I got to the point where I was 100 pounds overweight, my marriage fell apart, I had two kids, and that impacted my life, my stamina, my confidence, my emotional well being. I'm in the was in the same boat that many people have probably found themselves in, where you look at your closet and you, you realize that the clothes that used to fit, it's not only that they don't fit right, they just don't fit anymore. You cannot zip them up, you can't button them up. Constant food cravings, constant being hungry. And I came to the point where I didn't enjoy my life anymore. Imagine you are being hungry 24 7. This thing for me was before I started this program, I was stuck. I was like, I know I wasn't happy, but I saw your video and the main thing was you said you haven't decided. And I was like, wow. No, I haven't decided. So I declared it and I decided I was £177. I was depressed. I had the worst self image of myself. I have done Atkins, I've done Paleo, I've done literally everything. And I never found it sustainable for more than two weeks. Ready to change my situation. I just didn't know how to do it and I didn't have the right person to do it with. You know, I could take all of the hounding and all the suggestions and all of the complaining from family and friends, but it wasn't making me do it. I had to get into the mindset that you were teaching for me to be able to do it.
When I was at my heaviest, I.
Felt it in my joints, I felt.
It in my breathing and in my. I really wanted to shed some fat.
Three years ago, I had to adjust to a life with autism. As I raised my 8 year old autistic grandson, I became a very depressed person. I began gaining weight from the stress, the stress eating, and on top of that, I was going into menopause. I'm hypothyroid, I have low blood pressure. So losing weight was a real battle. And I was Getting no support from my doctors. They were all telling me, you're over 50, this is just something you have to deal with. I've been fighting a thyroid hypothyroidism now.
For the last few years.
In October, my mother in law that lived with us for seven years that passed away. And then in November, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. And with all these stresses and I.
Knew that it's just not doing good.
With all the stress coming into my life. And that's what I do when I'm stressed, I turn food and not good food for that matter. So I needed a change and I needed to right away. You know, at my age, it seems to be harder to drop the fat. You're going through menopause, you have all these issues in the way her program really proved to work. She never disappoints. If you follow what she says, it truly does work. My God, Nat, I just finished an amazing hill and I had to just record a beautiful love note for you because I was telling my nephew, I'm like, it's so hard to believe that we're 15 months later. I'm 56, 0.5 pounds released because of your total body thrive. And I mean, I know I'm one of thousands of women that you touch, moved and inspired. I just have to tell you, thank you. My entire life is different. My energy is different, my body is different. And those of us in our 40s, 50s and beyond, we start believing something that's not true, which is that we can't change, that we can't transform. And your program.
I'm just so grateful that you're my friend and that you created this and that I was a part of it. She gives you all the tools, the solutions.
You don't feel bloated, you don't feel tired, you have energy.
I've been looking for years for something that wasn't a spirit guide and wasn't like constricting and unfriendly and not user friendly. And your attitude and your methodology and the way you presented yourself was, it just made it easy. It just made it like a no brainer. It's like, oh my God, where has Natalie been my whole life kind of deal. I learned step by step how my body works, how it reacts to food that I put in it, and how I can change my diet and balance my meals without counting calories to get.
Where I want to be.
I think the most important thing I learned was just the supplements, what I was doing right, what I was doing wrong, and Just to re educate myself on what the body needs, what it needs to be stronger. And just her advice has just been amazing to me. It changed my perspective on life. It changed my perspective on nutrition and exercise. I became emotionally stronger, physically stronger. Something's working the energy level that I didn't have. I've struggled just to get out of bed. You know, my husband every day says how good I look and he's proud of me as well as my kids. I was on vacation last week and first time in a long time I felt great walking on the beach in a, in a swimsuit. I'm back in the clothes that were in my closet. It's like going shopping in my own closet. It's incredible. Was able to change my mindset, get rid of all the negative self talk that I had that was holding me back. I overcame my problem. I'm no longer hungry. I cannot stress enough how this is a program unlike anything I've ever seen before. I could go through the modules when it was convenient for me.
I didn't have to make an appointment.
To go see somebody. The group at the support. You know, you, you feel like you're bonding with women that you've never met. It's nice to have that. I noticed the best part was my co workers at work that were watching what I was eating, which was great food. It wasn't like diet food and just saying just seem like you're just shredding. It's just coming off so easy. So I think that's the key. It's just an easy program to follow. It makes sense. It's just the way we should eat. One of the biggest things I've taken away from it is just this peaceful, serene confidence that I have now tackled it once and for all. I know how to eat right. I know how to work out. And the weight issues are never, it's never going to be an issue anymore for me. When she says you can lose up to five to seven pounds in a.
Week, it really can happen.
It's truly a lifestyle change. It's not a week or two or.
A month diet and then you're done.
It's one of those things that I would do over and over again. I would recommend it to all my friends. If you're on the fence about doing it, believe me, the only thing you're going to lose is weight fat and you're going to feel so much better. I have more energy. I highly recommend this to anybody who's been struggling and trying all the different programs. All you have to do is decide to listen to Natalie and her team. They are inspirational. Natalie is like having a personal trainer, a best friend, a support system, a nutrition specialist all rolled into one. I am so happy. I invested in myself. If you have any doubts, please stop.
And think about it.
This is the best thing you can do for yourself. You will not regret this.
You know, my kids and I are.
Very, very happy and I owe that to the help of Natalie. Jill, trust in this team and you'll get where you want to be. I promise you that. I could keep going on and on about all the positive things that it did for me, but it's something you have to experience. It's something only you can feel. If you let yourself experience this, you will never regret it. It will change your life. No one can force you to do it. You have to decide to do it. You have to come to that point. You know, you get sick and tired of it. So do something about it.
Okay, everyone, can you hear me?
Okay.
All right. I wanted you to hear from some of them because I wanted to make sure you heard from them. Other than that, I want to answer it. I've been answering some of the questions and comments while you're listening to that, but I want to make sure I answer all of your questions if there's anything I miss. First of all, when does the program start? People are asking that. So this as soon as you start thrive. As soon as you start, you purchase it and you get. Yes, the first thing you'll get is an email and check your spam because sometimes it does go to spam. We do our best for delivery, but if for some reason it's not in spam, you're going to let us know and just write down this email. If you purchase and you're having an issue, just support at Natalie Jill Fitness.com support Natalie Jill Fitness.com and we'll make sure you have. You can even message me on Instagram and we would help you. Anywhere you message will find it but you'll have right away and in that initial you'll have some intro videos to get you started. The actual program does not start till the 13th, so you have some time but you'll have some intro things to get you started. You'll have an intake form to fill out. And between now and then, I just want you getting in your vision. Like what is it that I would want on? Right before the 13th, we're going to open up the Facebook group. We're going to send you out the schedule for all the calls and we literally start on the 13th live and then each week we drip the content. So each week you get the new week release content for there. So that's how we start and what happens there as far as does you know? How do I know and what are. I'm seeing a lot of different questions here. Like I'm dealing with this or dealing with that. And yes, and the reason I say that is this is one of those programs. It's half customizable and half a method. So the method is already set. The method is going to work regardless. It's still decide vision action. And I take you through that process. But the customized part is what we're seeing on your intake form and what I'm doing on the zoom calls with you and what we do in the group. So for you, if you're like, okay, I don't have any weight to lose, but I want to get fitter and I'm still, I'm approaching perimenopause. Or you're like, I have an extreme amount of weight to lose. Whatever your situation, we're going to follow that same method framework, but we customize and work one off based on what is needed for you. Because I realize that all of you are different. There's some commonalities that follow the method, but there's a lot of things that are different too. That is why we cap this at 150 new members each time. Because we can't have too many or I can't if there's more than that in a given class. It's too hard to navigate that. So that's why we do that. Um, so do we have. Okay, good question, Emily. I'm glad you asked that. So we don't have a vegan meal plan. And let me just explain because this is a decision for you to really think through. So we. You can do this plan as vegetarian or pescatarian, but it's hard to do it as vegan. And I want to explain why. I totally appreciate and understand why people want to be vegan for ethical reasons or whatever. Your religion reasons are all the reasons. I don't personally support it for anti aging or for. For pain and inflammation. I don't support a vegan diet. Me, I don't support that as a coach. So I'm not the best coach for that. Some vegans still do my program because they want the mindset stuff, they want the workout, they want all that. But they do their own plan. But my plan would not be able to be modified for a Strict vegan if you're a vegetarian. Yes. But wanted to let you know that. Nicole, do you need to have a Facebook account? No, you do not. The Facebook group is a bonus. Some people create Facebook just to be in the group because it's so motivating. You meet new people, you've got a support system, but you don't need to do that. As far as exercise sessions, yes, workouts on Thrive are in there. They are optional, meaning I have follow along workouts I give you that are all body weight you can do with your own body that you can modify. I give you all of that in there. But they are optional in the program, meaning you can still get results without doing them. You also can still do your own workouts if you want. So they're not mandatory to get results, but we do have those in there. So we've got all that in there. Let's see, where is the link to join? It's. Can we put the link to join again? Here we go. Total body thrive.com. let me make sure. I've got other questions. I know I followed this process works. Do you follow during a seven day jumpstart vision?
Lysa, I'm so excited for you to be in here. This is amazing. Yes, Zade, I'm glad you made a decision. Okay. And if you've got questions you want to ask me like raise your hand and talk to me right now. I'm happy to do that too. If you've got a one off thing, you're like, hey, I came on this because I needed to address this and you haven't done it yet. Please raise your hand. Let me, let me chat with you. Don't be shy. Let me help you. While you have me here. Let me just scroll, make sure I'm not missing anyone. And then Rachel, is there questions I missed in comments that you want to let me know so I can was anything I missed?
There were a couple that I don't believe you address.
Yeah, let me go back up to it.
I just want to make sure I'm not. I am looking for nutrition that I am not getting from my doctor.
Do you use nutrition that is low in histamine? I feel more inflamed joint pain.
Did you answer that? Yeah, I did not answer that. Yes. Okay. So I base everything on an unprocessed natural food diet. I'm very familiar with histamine. So what happens on my plans is there's swap out options for everything. So let's say for instance, you're following one of my meal plans. And you're, and I've got high histamine foods like spinach, for example, on there. And you're like, I can't have histamine. What you would do is just swap out and I can help you do that with. We have a list for everything. So for instance, if you're having a meal, we break things down into protein, carbs and fats. So every meal has a swap out option. So let's say the protein you're having for the meal is fish, for example. And you're like, I don't like fish or I can't have fish. You would go to the protein category and pick any, any other protein that you want. Same with if, if I've got spinach on there and you're like, I don't do well with histamines, you would pick anything else from the free food. Which by the way, spinach is a free food. So are berries on my plan, meaning you can have them unlimited. So you pick from the category and you can replace. So yes, you could still follow a low histamine diet. You could honestly follow. Just to give you guys an example, you could follow Carnivore, you could follow Keto, you could follow Paleo, you could follow Weight Watchers, you could follow any plan on what I teach. It still would work on here. I'm going to encourage you to maybe let some of that go because I'm going to teach you an easier way to eat and think through things. But I base everything on protein, carbs and fat and unprocessed natural food so it won't conflict with something that you've loved. Ok. But I also want to mention you're here because what you're doing currently has not been working to the level you want it to. So it's, I'm going to also encourage you to have an open mind. Just like I get a lot of sometimes vegans that are frustrated because they think they're doing the right thing health wise, but they're not creating the results they want with their hormones or their body. So it's just, it's just a discussion to have, you know, if they want to consider staying that way or not. And that's why I'm very upfront that I don't modify to make a vegan diet because I don't. That's not what I believe in. My core is ideal for what I teach.
Okay, let's see. Any other. Yes, Rachel, how feasible is it to.
Lose 35 to 40 pounds at age 47 when coming from a sedentary past, but becoming a heck yes person within like six months or a year.
Yes, you. It's 100% possible. It's 100% possible. And I want to share again that I'm 50, almost 51. I have helped countless people in this age range and higher do this. But we are going to start and you would have to be committed to go deep with decision and vision first. It is critical that we do that and it is absolutely possible. Now, are you going to lose £40 month one? No, you are not likely. You would lose 10 to £15 month one. And then we will continue losing £2 a week each week to follow. So if you think about that, my gosh, £2 a week might sound slow. That is over £100 in a year. So you know, my clients that transformed, it was a process that took less than a year for sure. We make major headway in the first eight weeks. So most people lose about £20 those first two weeks. £20 is a big difference. So yes, it's absolutely possible and I'd love to help you and thrive with this.
Awesome.
And then how does this program work.
For fitness addicts who have been consistent for years?
Yes, it would still work. You, I'm not going to change that about you. If you love fitness and you love working out and you have your routine, I'm not going to tell you to stop that. This is going to be an add on information. You're going to learn a new method to help increase other things. This method I teach you helps honestly with all different goals in your life. So if I'm not going to mess with your workouts that you love, that's working. Now, if you're in here because you're like, I'm a fitness addict but I'm now experiencing pain, or I'm a fitness addict, but I'm now dealing with hormonal swings and issues. I'm going to help you navigate that in addition to what you're doing. So yes, you can still absolutely doing it. Can you be under eating? Someone just asked. Yes, you can be under eating for sure. And when we under eat, we can slow down our metabolism. So a lot of times there's a little bit of a correction that I'll do with people when we first start. It's not completely common, but this, it does happen sometimes where someone might gain £2 week one, because we are doing some correction. But then we get greater results once we level out your metabolism. And then the last ones that I.
Noticed Were a lot of questions about thyroid and how this program can support.
Yeah, so thyroid is a real issue. It's another example though of where I put into false assumed truths where a thyroid issue is a, a very real issue. The results we get with it doesn't have to make a difference, doesn't have to be one way. And I have an example from there was probably three thrives ago. I had a girl come in, she had just had her thyroid removed and she was, she gained 30 pounds and she said, you know, I'm really stressed out, Natalie. I, you know, I gained, I had my thyroid removed. My doctor told me I gained 30 pounds and I gained 30 pounds. And I wasn't surprised because I'm like, your doctor told you you're going to gain 30 pounds and you gained 30 pounds. Yeah, that, that makes sense because we start taking actions that support that. So what I'm going to do first with those of you that come in with a thyroid issue, I'm not going to ignore it, but I'm going to speak to your vision version of yourself and we're going to start operating in a way that supports your thyroid, that supports you getting those results. So I'm going to get you heavy in decision and vision and then we're going to start eating and doing things to help work with that. To make a difference. To make a difference. There has not ever been a time where someone in my program took my meal plan to their doctor and their doctor said, oh, no, don't do that. Like, doctors usually are impressed, impressed by my meal plans because they're like, oh, this really supports what we're working on. So I'm going to get you back to natural eating real foods that support this, and that's what's going to make the difference.
Any other questions from anybody?
Let's see. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
I see Lee just joined. Congratulations. Leah can't wait to work with you. And Christy, can't wait to have you back. See any other questions while you have me?
Hi, Jill.
Hi.
This is Lori. I do have a question. So I use collagen protein.
Yeah.
Does your program support.
Absolutely. Supplements? Yes, absolutely. I'm a huge fan of collagen and I teach it in a different. There's different types of collagen. I don't know what type you're taking. Do you take like marine collagen or do you know what type you're taking? Dermal.
It's got dermal in it. Is that right?
Is it A powder. A powder it is. Okay. Yeah. So I am a huge fan of collagen, what I teach, because I always lean on natural, real foods first. So I do teach about bone broth and eating foods that help support collagen growth. And then there's different types of collagen. I personally am a fan of marine collagen, liquid marine collagen. And the reason is when you have a powder collagen, you only absorb about 30% of it. And with marine liquid collagen, you support, you absorb about 90%. So there's one that I prefer, but it doesn't. You could still use what you're using. What you're doing is not hurting anything. So I'm not going to take that out. Where I'll mess with people's supplements is less you. Let's say you are. We're working together and something's not working right, or we're not tweaking. I'm going to want to look at ingredients that are on things. So sometimes, for instance, somebody's taking, you know, a protein powder or a branch chain amino acid, and they're not realizing that some of the ingredients in there are triggering other things. So that's when I would look at ingredients. And I do teach about supplements. There's a whole section, I think it's week five or six in Thrive, where I really go deep into supplements and, like, what to look for in a supplement. I share even what I recommend. So we go deep. But, Laurie, you would not have to stop your collagen.
No. Perfect.
Thank you. Yeah. And someone just asked about liquid. Yes, you can keep taking it. You can keep taking your liquid, Tracy. No problem.
Natalie, someone asked.
They're cooking for their entire family. Is this difficult to do with your program? Not at all.
Family of four.
Yeah. Your whole family should love this. It's actually really simple. And what you could do is you could make the same foods for them and double it up. They'll love it. And I teach you categories of foods. So, for example, and I want to. I don't want to confuse you too much now, but let's say we're talking about carbs. There's different kinds of carbs. You know, there's fruit and vegetable carbs, and then there's starchy carbs. And when we look at starchy carbs, I'm going to teach you about different levels. So, like, there's the ideal, which is like a sweet potato or a yam. And then there's a. The next level, which is grains, which I'M not a huge fan of grains. And then there's like the. The cookies and the muffins and the pasta, which I'm not a big fan of, but they're all carbs. So what I do is I teach you how to work things into a meal. So, like, let's say you're cooking for your whole family and they really want pasta, but you don't want to choose to have pasta on this. You know what you substitute yours is with. But it's mo. This is family friendly. Like, I've had many people do it with their kids, with their spouses. I've had countless spouses get results because of what their wife or their husband was cooking and doing for this plan, and now they're eating that way and they're getting results, too. So, yes, you absolutely can.
Yeah, Wanda. Yes. Yes, Wanda. Especially pre diabetic and the ovary thing. Absolutely. At 45, I can't tell you. There are countless people that had type 2 diabetes or were pre diabetic that they reversed and changed their A1C numbers with what I teach. So, yes, my own mom is one of them. My mom was told she'd have to be on metformin. She had crazy A1C numbers. She started this process, and she does not. She completely reversed it. Type 1 diabetes would be different if you're insulin dependent. I could probably help you get on less insulin by doing this. But you would. I can't fix that. And I'm not a doctor, so I'm not claiming to fix anything. I'm just going to teach you things that support that could change your A1C numbers and all of that. So, yes, I think. Absolutely. Diane, do I teach to add flavors and seasonings? Absolutely. We have a whole list of free things that you'll be able to add. We've got all kinds of recipe options and meal plans, and we make it super simple for you to eat. So, yeah, all of it. See? Am I missing any questions?
I was just gonna answer in chat, but they asked about if they have.
To buy a bunch of supplements.
Nope, you don't have to buy any supplements. Nothing. And Flops is obviously here wanting to say hi to you, say, okay, but my dog has been sitting here for the like show. Say, let me say hi. He's right up, right up on me. You don't have to buy any supplements. No, I'm a fan of real food first. And then for those of you that need or want supplements, I help, support and just be fully transparent. Like, I sell supplements. Too. So I could, I could tell everyone supplements are the answer for all things and probably make a lot of money. But I can't do that with a straight face because I don't believe that. I really believe real food is first and that supplements are meant to be in addition to, and to help support. And they're optional, they're not a mandatory thing. Um, same with Kimberly. Same with protein powder. I teach real food first and then protein powder is an option, but I really look at ingredients on those because protein powder can mess people up too. A lot of people don't realize what. And I do a really big education about types of protein powders and like, what's the difference between whey or vegan or casein or egg protein? Like, there's all. They're all meant for different things. So we teach you all of that. Everything is gluten free. Everything is gluten free because I teach unprocessed food. So by being unprocessed, it's gluten free. I have a plan that is dairy free and grain free too. So that's an option. So really good at working with allergies or dislikes too. So no issue there. Diane? No. Go to totalbodythrive.com Diane. Totalbodythrive.com totalbodythrive.com you can find it on my website, but it's probably easier to go to totalbodythrive.com and you'll see it right there. And Rachel, just put the link right now too. Yay. Oh, my gosh. First of all, I want to acknowledge the 62 of you that are on, like, Last Standing. I love it. We started, we think we had 170 on at one point. And remember I talked about people that invest in their cells and their action and take time. So I want to acknowledge you for taking time this Saturday morning to do this. Some of the final things I just want to let you know is I'm really not meaning to pressure anybody into this. As I said at the beginning, and I mean it. This is not a now or never. This is a now or whenever you are ready. Whenever you are ready. I personally want to work with those of you that are like, I am full and committed ready to go. I am full and committed ready to go. That's who I want to work with. I am not trying to get scared money or scared decisions or like, that's not who I work well with. So this is like, I'm, I'm all in. I'm going to sprint with you. I'm going to help you get radical results. If that is you, okay. But if that's not you right now, I understand. And you'll let us know when you're ready. There'll be. There'll be another one at some point, so. So no pressure on that. No pressure on that. Roseanne, you're in. I love it. You're all in. Allison, I am ready. Yes. You're all in. I love it. I'm so excited that you all are in. And I do want to say this, and I'm not trying to sound salesy sleazy, but I've got to tell you this. If you don't trust yourself, trust me, please. I have a great track record with this. You can google my name. You're not going to find negative things. I mean, my word, I help people. I have some crazy amounts of transformations. So if you don't trust yourself, consider trusting me. Okay? Thank you guys for taking this Saturday morning with me. I appreciate it. Have a great rest of your weekend and I hope to see so many of you and thrive. Bye.
