Natalie Jill demonstrates physical replicas of 5 pounds of muscle and 5 pounds of fat to show that equal weight can occupy different volumes—muscle is denser and takes up less space. She explains that identical scale weights can look different depending on muscle vs fat composition and recommends using measurements, photos, and clothing fit rather than relying solely on the scale. She outlines three ways to change body composition: dial in diet (natural, unprocessed foods), perform the right resistance/toning exercises, and follow her "Aging in Reverse" method. The clip ends with a promotional trial: 10 days for $10 (digital workouts and meal plans included) and a call-to-action to join the AgingInReverse.me community.

Ladies, I want to show you something here. Okay? This is exact replica of muscle and fat. Five pounds of it, to be exact, believe it or not. So five pounds of muscle, a replica here. Five pounds of fat. Now, here's the interesting thing. If you set both of these on the scale, they're both going to weigh five pounds. You see, muscle does not weigh more than fat. They both weigh five pounds. When you're looking at five pounds of muscle and five pounds of fat, however, here's the difference. The muscle takes up a lot less space, a lot less volume than the fat. So they look very different on our bodies. So when you ask somebody what do they weigh, it really has no relevance to you and what your weight is, because let's say someone weighs 150 pounds. Well, they might look a certain way. And then you take someone else who weighs 150 pounds, and they can look totally different based on their height and. And also based on their makeup of muscle versus fat. So very different. So a better way other than the scale is to use measurements, to use pictures of yourself, to use trying on different clothes, knowing how something might fit one day versus when you've lost the weight, how it fits then, because the more muscle you have and the less fat, the better you're gonna look. You're gonna look more toned, more lean. You're gonna look smaller. Even though that scale might not change, especially when you're building muscle and losing fat. You get it. Okay, so how do you change these. How do you change these ratios here? Well, there's three components. One is your diet. You want to dial in your diet and eat natural, unprocessed, real foods. You want to do the right exercise moves to increase your muscle tone. And by the way, when you add muscle through your diet and through your nutrition and through your workouts, the more muscle you have, the less fat and calories you actually burn at rest. So that's another great thing about adding on that muscle. So dialing in your nutrition, doing the right workout moves. And then there's a third component, which is the method that I teach in aging and reverse community.
