Hi, guys.
Natalie, Jill here, back with happy, healthy, and fit. I wanted to talk to you today.
About my favorite item to carry with me when I'm traveling, and I want to make sure I get a great workout.
Now, most of you that have followed.
Me know that I'm a huge fan of bodyweight training. That will never change.
But there are a few things I like to use with my bodyweight training that help me really up the intensity and help me get that increased strength. And tubing is one of those things I just love because you can throw it in your bag, you can throw it in a suitcase. Easy to travel with, and you can.
Create incredible resistance with tubing. So there's two kinds I like.
One is with the handles here.
But my favorite one is just literally the band tubing without any handles, because you can use it, get really creative with it, and work all different parts of your body with it.
So I want to show you just four of my favorite exercises, but you.
Can get creative and do all kinds.
Of things with the tubing.
And the more you hold it closer.
Together, the harder the resistance. So the first exercise I wanted to show you is just a standard leg press.
And you can do it laying on.
Your back, or you can lift your back up slightly, but you'll put the.
Tubing under your feet, you'll hold onto it, create that resistance, and you'll push.
Out just like a simple leg press.
And you'll really work those legs, those glutes, everything, and you'll really feel it. And again, you can make it tighter by holding it. Holding the tubing tighter makes an incredible workout.
The second exercise I wanted to show you that you can do with this tubing is you can do flutter kicks and work your inner and outer thighs as well as those lower abs by.
Creating that resistance with the band, lifting your legs up and down, and doing the scissor kick action, you'll notice the resistance. You can do it without the tubing, but you'll notice how much stronger you get with it.
The next exercise I want to show you, and this is a favorite one.
Of mine, is to take the band and tie it around your legs. And here I'm tying it around underneath my knees and. And watch. I'm going to take steps side to side, and you can get really creative with this. You can stand up higher, you can go down lower, but you're really going to feel that working inner outer thighs, mostly outer thighs and those glutes.
And I want to show you my favorite upper body exercise. This one really works.
Your back is just a reverse fly holding the band. And the tighter you hold it together.
The harder it is. I'm a huge fan of Body Weight. Love the band, especially for travel. Now if you want to see some of my other travel tips, check out.
