Hi, guys. Natalie, Jill, welcome back to Happy, Healthy and Fit. Today we are working on that bra strap area right back here.
I know you want to address that. Here's the thing with spot reduction, you can't exercise away a spot, unfortunately. I know that stinks, right? But what you can do is you can drastically change the appearance by developing muscle in those areas. And you can lose the fat through your diet and intensity in your training. And when you do that, you're going to slim down and tone that area so your back looks much better. And you don't see that bra strap trap that we don't like. Right. So we want to work those muscles. We want to lose the overall fat. I'm going to show you four exercises today that you can do anywhere, using your own body weight to address those areas. So we can tone it up now, because diet is important, too. You want to make sure, as with any of my exercises, that your eating is on point. So please check out my seven day Jumpstart program, which teaches you how to eat so you can see all that hard work. Okay? All right, so exercise number one, the first one is a swimmer, and we're just using our own body weight here. Now I want you to watch how I'm doing this. We're just taking it out, pushing back and around. So imagining you're under some water, pushing back and around, and you want to not just go through the motions here, but really push, make it hard on yourself so you can really feel that in your back as you're going. That's exercise number one. The second one I'm going to call hitchhikers. Holding it here, thumbs up. It's just a slight movement, open and close, Little movement here. Really feel that in your back here. You can pick up the pace or you could do it really slow, but you want to make this tough on yourself so you can feel it in your back. The next one is a wide punch, and with these, it's just punching side to side, but you're really using that back, so you're driving that punch through your back. There are wide punches. You can get your whole body involved, but you really feel that in your back. And then the fourth exercise is from the wall. We're just going to use the wall to help us. You want to plant your lower back against the wall. And we're just going to lift our arms up, squeeze, and back down. Really thinking about that weight, imagining a weight, pushing it up, squeezing back down. Feel that in your back. So that's it. There's four exercises. Now, how many should you do and how long should you do them? It's whatever is challenging for you. There's no magic number. If you need a gauge, I would start with a minute of each of them, work that through, take a rest as you need to, and then repeat it through one more time if you want it to be more challenging for you. Now earlier I mentioned that diet does play a big role you you can learn more about my seven day jump start at the link below or go to 7dayjumpstart.com See you later.
