Hi, guys. Natalie, Jill here. Welcome back to Happy, Healthy and Fit. Today we're doing an inner thigh slim down workout. It's just six minutes long. I know you've got six minutes. All you need is your own body weight and we can get started.
The first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to show you the three exercises and then I'm going to show you what we're going to do to put it all together. And then you can make this as intense or as challenging as you want so you get the best workout for you. And, and make sure you stay tuned to the very end because I've got some news I want to share with you. Are you ready? So the first exercise, you may have seen me do these before, but they are a favorite of mine for this thighs and that is my sumo squats that I'm going to change it up with a little variation today. So for these, you want to put your feet shoulder width distance apart and you want to think about your heels being what you're pressing through. And we're going to take it, lowering it down, just lower it down with me here and back up. So you're pushing up through your heels, lowering through your heels, really using that inner thigh area as you come up. You feel that here. Now the thing with the sumo squat here is you really can change up the pace to make it more challenging for you. So I'm going slow here, but watch what happens if I take it to little pulses. Try this. So you can feel a difference. You feeling it doesn't take much as you start to really feel this here, holding it, holding it in this little pulse motion and then holding it to a freeze, freeze right there. There's lots of ways you can do these. This makes it a lot more challenging just taking it to these pulses and this hold right here. And if you do the big deep movement up and down, it makes it a little bit easier. So that's exercise number one. The second exercise I want to show you for inner thighs are pulses. And we're going to take this one down to the ground. So come all the way down to your mat to the floor. Pick one leg to start. Other heel is planted. You're going to feel this right here on your inner thigh. Take it back to your hand or your forearms, whatever is more comfortable. And you're going to take a little pulse up and down. That's it. Little tiny movement right here.
Doesn't take many until you start to feel it. If it gets too easy, you can Actually put some pressure on your thigh to make it a little bit more challenging. So you're pushing down with that top hand. Make it a little bit more challenging. Just a little movement right here. Really working those inner thighs. Feel it.
Good job. Next was a frog press. On this one we're going to involve our triceps a little bit and our core. So you're seated down, toes and fingertips pointed forward. We're going to lift one leg up and we're going to point our toes slightly out. And watch what I'm doing here. I'm going to kick it out and in, out and in. So you can keep your arms straight up here and do this. Or you could take it to little mini pulses and dips as you do it. But this is involving not just your thigh, but also your core and your triceps.
This one you should definitely feel.
Try not to get comfortable with it. I'm going to move on to the next one. The final exercise is just a scissor hop. So watch what I'm doing here. So a little mini hop back and forth.
That's it, little hops. Now, if you're wanting this to be a little bit lower impact, you're a beginner, you can go slow here.
Or pick up the pace.
That's it. Okay, so how are we going to put all this together? It's a six minute workout and what we're going to do is each exercise is one minute long. However, that scissor hop is happening in between each of the other exercises. So what you're going to do is a sumo variation for one minute. Take it over to a scissor hop for a minute, then to inner thigh pulses. One minute. Sigls, you have 30 seconds each side. Scissor hops again. The frog presses one minute. So 30 seconds each side on that too. And then the scissor hops again. Six minutes total. It's intense, challenging. It worked. You're going to feel it in this side. Are you in? Are you going to do it? Let me know. And let me know if you want more quickie workouts like this down below. Now here's some news for you that you may not know. I now have a complete DVD series.
