Hello.
Hello.
Looking forward to talking tonight. I'm going to talk tonight about feeling like you've let yourself go. So if you're feeling like that, this is the conversation for you. I'm going to be sharing some things that start shifting that right away. So welcome those of you that don't know me. I'm Natalie Jill. I'm a licensed master sports nutritionist and functional fitness trainer. And what I do is I kill fat for a living. And not just the fat on our bodies with those false assumed truths, fat that are in our way of things that we start believing especially as we're aging, that hold us back from creating massive results from leveling up and actually aging in reverse. So I am so glad you are here tonight. If you are have been on my lives before. Welcome back. If you are new to these, good to have you. I always interact and answer questions, so feel free to ask them along the way and I will be sure to chat with you. For those of you that don't know, I am 47 years old, so I specifically love talking to women in your 40s and 50s because I can relate to what you're going through. The majority of my clients are in their 40s and 50s, so if you're fall outside of that, you're still welcome to join in. I have lots of things that can help you, but my focus is primarily with women that are aging backwards, that want to age backwards, that want to be able to do that. So one thing I would love to know from you, if you're chiming in right now, whether you're watching this live or the recording, let me know your name and then where you're from and your age. I'd love to know your age. I'd love to know if I'm reaching the women I want to talk to. Tell me your age and where you're from. And especially on Instagram, because I'm there and Facebook, I can't see your name on Instagram. So tell me your name so I can actually chat with you. So I want to share because one of the things that I hear so many times from women in their 40s and 50s, not everyone, maybe not you, maybe you're not, maybe you're an exception. But from so many is they feel like they let things go. That's the actual phrase we'll use is, well, I don't know where the time went, but I feel like I've let myself go. I've let things go and they start believing things like it's too late. That Maybe because they're a certain age, it has to be that way. Maybe you listening can relate to this or you just spent too much time staying comfortable and now age is caught up with you, so you feel like you've let things go. And that's what I want to address tonight because there's some very specific ways that you can start to shift things. You can start implementing these right away and it'll start to change your attitude. So I'm glad you're here. Hey, Nicole. I see you. Welcome back. I haven't seen you in a while.
Hi, Tammy. Hi, Nikki. I see all of you. Hi, Toni. Tony, 55. Awesome. Nicole, I'm glad you're here and I'm glad that I'm speaking to you today. Okay, so you ready? So I'm going to give you some key things and I talk about things in order of state, weight and weight. So everything I bring up is either going to have to do with changing your mindset because I think that's a huge problem of transformation and changing and growing and leveling yourself up. And then also some tips on what you could do with your plate, your nutrition, and then the workout component. So I'm going to share all of these. One of those things does not work out without the other. It's really important to be using all different areas of that. These are all very simple concepts to implement. Simple to implement, not easy to stick to. So I'm going to notice that. I'm going to show you exactly how simple it can be. And then I'm going to give you a method to actually make it stick. And then I'm also going to be sharing an opportunity for 20 of you watching. So make sure you stay on till the end so you can hear that opportunity. Okay? Okay. So number one. Number one is make a decision. Make a decision that you are done, tired of feeling like you missed the boat or like it's too late or you've let yourself go. The more you tell yourself or tell others or tell me that you've let yourself go. The more that becomes a reality, the more you're repeating that, the more you believe it, the more it becomes the truth. And you do tend to stay stuck when you believe that. The interesting thing about complaints or excuses is that there's always people ready to validate those. There's always those people. So if you say, I feel like it's too late or I'm too old, you're always going to be able to find friends, society, somebody else to go. You know what you're right, it sucks. And the problem with that is it might temporarily feel good that someone's validating and making you feel like you're part of the club, but it doesn't serve you to help you get better. It keeps you completely stuck. So it's one of the worst things someone could do for you. Because, great, they're empathizing you feel like they're being compassionate, but they're really not standing for you. They're really not helping you to level up. They're not helping you become a better person. So decide that you're done telling yourself that and that you're done telling others that. Like, make a decision that you're not going to tell people. I feel like I've let myself go. Start actually believing the opposite. The more you tell yourself you've let yourself go, the more you start really believing it. And you'll find evidence to support that. So really, as simple as that, that's one of the first things. First things you can do is just literally make a decision right here. And if you're really feeling confident, you can even write it. Let me know. I decide I'm done. I decide I'm done feeling this way and be really clear about it. And the next thing which brings me into what I just said is tell people. Declare it. Tell people that you're done feeling that way. So if you've been complaining to your friends or your family or your spouse or your coworkers or me or your groups or whatever, if you've been complaining that you let yourself go, like, literally declare to them that, you know what? I. I know I've been saying this, but I'm done. I'm ready for a change. And this is my year. This is the time it's going to happen. I'm shifting, I'm growing, I'm changing, and I'm going to reverse things. I'm going to start aging in reverse. Like, literally declare it. So many times we're afraid to make a declaration and tell somebody what we're after because it means that we have to show up and do it right. We're now accountable. And if we don't tell them, we get to play safe and we have nothing to lose. There's no risk. Right? You're playing safe. The problem with playing safe is you stay stuck. The same problem as if you get people to validate your excuses, you stay stuck. There's no growth in that. Playing safe is comfortable, but it's not living. It's not living. There's no growth that comes in playing safe. So declare it, take that risk and tell somebody. And what's really cool about it is when you do make declarations like that, guess what they happen. When you tell someone you're going to do something, it happens. So use that as a tool to take action and make this reality. The next thing is, and for many of you that have been watching my lives, you know, I can't bring this up enough. The next thing is get very clear and visualize where it is you are going, what it is that you want. Get clear on that. A lot of times I'll have women message me and say, I'm just not happy. And I'll say, well, what is it that you want? I, I don't know if I'm happy. I can't help with that because there's too many variables there. What is it that you actually want? Spend your time daydreaming, visualizing, getting clarity on what it is that you want and where you want to go. Get super clear and focus on what that looks like, what that feels like, how that is, how that would be. When you get there, get really clear so you know what it is that you're after. And it makes it a lot easier to chase that. If you are not clear on what you want, how are you going to get there? How are you going to get there? I love sharing the story about a car. If you get in a car right now and you just go to drive, where are you going to end up? I mean, it depends. It depends where you're going to end up. Are you going to. It depends what you feel like. It depends how the traffic is, it depends how the road conditions are. It depends how much gas you have in your tank, how tired you are, how weight, it depends. You get in your car, you have no idea where you're going to end up. It's all based on feeling and lala. So do you end up in New York City? Maybe or maybe not. It's a complete crapshoot. You have no idea. However, if you get in a car and you're clear of where you're going, if I say we're all going to get in a car right now and meet in California, we could all end up in California if it was our clear vision right now. Some of you might drive to a train station to get there, some might drive to an airport, some might just drive there. And if you're driving there, you might block your navigation, or you might ask people along the way, or you might pull out an old Fashioned map. It doesn't matter how you're getting there, but you will absolutely get there because you have a clear vision of what it is that you want. There is no different in anything in your life, whether it's after a financial goal or a relationship goal or a new career or a new body. Like, you want your body to be at its best. You want to start aging reverse. Get very clear on what it is that you want and literally place your order for it. Like, I want this, and this is what it's going to look and feel like. Get super clear on it and be really clear on what it is that you want. If you don't have a clear vision, it's very hard for somebody else to help you. So get really clear on your vision. The next thing is just start. Literally just start in steps. Now, you guys are not dumb. You're all very smart. I know you're smart. And here's the thing. We all know what it is to do to improve ourselves. We know stuff. So if I were to, I'm going to jump into a little bit of nutrition and some workout ideas, a little bit of that. But you guys know, you really know at your core, like, you get to move more. You have to eat the right foods. You know that. But if it was that easy and simple, we would just all be there, right? Just a little bit more than that. And I would be willing to bet that a lot of what's going on, it's not so much the excuses or the reasons or the stories why a lot of what's going on is. It feels like information overload. I mean, can you relate to that? Give me hearts. If you cannot relate to that, you feel like it's just too much information overload. Like, what do I do? Do I do ifym or do I do fasting? Or, like, it gets confusing. Like, do I give up sugar? Do I give up carbs? It gets so confusing that you end up going, well, should I even start? Where do I even start? It's too much. So what I'm going to share with you is literally just start with baby steps and focus on addition. So if you focus on adding in more of the good, it makes less room for the bad, which is amazing. So you just add in more of the good, which. Let's get real. You guys know what good is, right? More water, more vegetables, more lean proteins, more nuts and seeds, more things that once grew unprocessed, natural foods that once grew. You start adding in more of that, it makes less room for the Bad. The more water you're drinking, the more healthy foods you're eating, the more, less room for the bad. It's a baby step and it helps you get there. Same thing with moving your body. You could literally just start. So if you think about, oh, I have to go log in hours at the gym and I got to join a gym and I got to do cardio, what happens is you start getting this overwhelmed, oh, my gosh, there's so much that I have to do to change my body. That what happens is sometimes we don't even start or we start and we think it's too much and we feel like this is too much. I'm too tired, it's too much work, and. And we give up quickly because we don't have results early on. What I want to have you do is start shifting that thought and think instead of baby steps, if you just take one little step forward each day, eventually you get there. One foot in front of the other gets you there. So little things like, can you walk every day? Can you walk a little further tomorrow? Can you do some body weight things at home? What can you do to just start? The more you just take those actions, those baby steps, the more they end up creating amazing results. And then one more thing I'm going to give you on this topic before I shift over to questions is that make sure you are surrounding yourself with the right people that you're getting information from. And let me explain what I mean. Let's say you listen from the beginning here and you're like, okay, I get it. I'm going to decide. I'm going to make a declaration. I have a vision of where I'm going to go, and I'm just going to start. I'm just going to start and make it outside of my head. What happens is if you have the wrong people in your life, right, if you've got all these negative people in your life that want to keep you stuck in that other spot, it makes it very difficult to stick to your conviction, right? Because you don't want someone in your ear telling you, oh, you don't need to do that, or, oh, that will never work, right? That's not what you need. So getting really rigorous and committed about not letting that noise in, not letting people in that are not going to support your vision and your goals, like, get really clear about that, that you get to have friends in your life, people in your life that support that you get, you get to have a tribe that supports that, and you can even control that outside of your friends, like by what you're listening to, like who are you following on social media? What are you listening to on podcasts? Are you flipping the TV on and watching reality tv or are you actually learning and watching things that are going to actually help you and help lift you up and level you up? Like many of you, if you don't know my podcast leveling up, creating everything from nothing. All I do on there is interview people who created mass success from nothing, what got massive transformations in money, their bodies, all kinds of things from nothing. So taking in stuff like that so you can help to elevate yourself. So it's, you know, I hope that helps you guys. I know this is, I rushed through that a little bit. I'm going to definitely take some questions right now about any of these topics and really know, like to really help you seal this in. I'm going to take a question. Rose. I actually thought about photoshopping a picture of what I'd like to look like for motivation. Rose. I love it. Why not if that's going to help you up level to that next level. This is my husband, by the way. Everyone say hi to Brooks. Hello, Brooks. Hello. Taking some questions now and we have something to share with you guys. Let's see, we had a surprise to share with you, something we're going to do with 20 of you. Let's see more questions. Hi, Mary from Colorado 58. Hi Vicki. Hi there. The 49 missing from the group for months. Vicki, come back in the group. Let's see. Hi, this is Wendy from. Oh, hi, Wendy. I'll definitely take some questions. If you have any questions, whether you're on Instagram or Facebook here, ask away. And I'm pulling them up.
Let's see. King Ron. Hi, Ron. Ron is saying I've been fasting. I want to know if you believe it helps long term. Okay, Ron, this is what I believe. I believe two things. One, that when you give your body a break from food for short amounts of time or a little bit longer, then what happens is your body is not secreting insulin. And yes, you do burn fat when you're not secreting insulin. So I think it's good to give your digestive system a break. However, I'm going to add to that I'm not a fan of things like intermittent fasting at its core, where you do all of your food in four hours or all of your food in six hours and don't eat the rest of the day. And the reason why is it's very Hard to sustain that for a lifetime. Now if you can sustain that for a lifetime and it's working for you, more power to you. However, what I will share is it's very hard for most people to do that and it really shouldn't be a free for all that. Now I can eat anything I want. Right? So as long as you're doing that, eating unprocessed, natural, real foods and it's working for you, more power to you. What I teach in my programs is I call it a modified fasting where you could take a longer break at night, so maybe your last meal is at 6pm and you don't eat again until six in the morning where you take longer gaps between your meals so you're not eating every few hours. You're really spacing it out. So your body has a great. I hope that answers your question. Let's see.
Let'S see, more questions. I'm frustrated because I lost £40 and. Hi, Rose. I'm frustrated because I lost £40 last April. I felt good that things happened back to crossing. Gain back 20. Yep, Rose, that happens. And a lot of that goes back to that. Creating that vision of what it is that you want long term and busting through that story of that. I go back when I get depressed and who can you surround yourself with? Who could you bring into your life that holds you high and holds you to that person that they know you can be? You want people around you that know what you're capable of and hold you accountable to that. Okay, a few more questions and then we've got something to share.
Let's see.
Anything here. How do I regulate alcohol? I thought a stupid question, Amy. How do I regulate.
It's.
It's your misery. Well, it depends on how much you're drinking. I don't know. I don't know if you have like a, if you have a problem with it. Are you drinking a bottle a night or like once in a while having it? I don't know the answer to that. If it's one of those things where you, you can't stop and you're doing it every day, then I would definitely seek some outside help with that. If it's like once in a while you want to drink, I don't have an issue with that, especially not on my plans. But it's you getting really clear with do I have a problem? Like I can't stop when I start and there's nothing to be ashamed about there. But that is something you would want to seek help with. Let's see. I think Nicole's spelling your name.
Brock.
It's Brooks. Nicole. But hi. Okay, let's see. How do you restart if you've been doing some fasting and you have wine and sugar? Trudy, I'm not sure I understand the question, and I'm not a fan of the whole fasting thing, but if you are fasting, then, yeah, you don't want to just go add in wine and sugar right away. You want to still eat unprocessed natural foods if your body's not eating anything and now all of a sudden you go add something in. Think of something healthy.
Give it something good.
Yeah, give it something good. Not just wine and sugar. Not just that. Let's see.
It's a cheap buzz, though.
Aw. Okay, guys, so listen, this is the opportunity I wanted to share. And I've been like, I know I've been talking a lot about this because it lights me up. I'm so excited about this. So here's the thing. You guys transfer. You could listen to me on video right now. You can listen to a podcast episode, you can read a book, a meme, a quote, whatever you can to a big, large seminar and get the rah rah. And what happens is we get like these light bulb moments when that happens where we're like lit up, fired up, excited, but then nothing happens. We don't change. Right. We get like fired up for a moment and then we just go back to our old comfort zone. Right? I have definitely been there. I know many of you have been there. Let me know if you can relate. Here's what Brooks and I have found. Our favorite thing to do is to literally go deep with a handful of people. And I mean, like a handful or two handfuls.
10.
10 people at a time where we work with you for three months, really close, where we're coaching you for three months. We're going deep on what's been in your gap, what's holding you back from getting the results that you want that are going to last. And that's not just weight loss. I mean, it definitely can be weight loss, but it's also like your financial goals, your relationship goals. You have a dream to start a business. You haven't done it yet, but we love to work with you for like a three month period in these, where we get to know you, we get to know everything about you, what your strengths are and what your weaknesses are. And we go deep on figuring out how to shift and stop those weaknesses and help you grow those strengths and him and I, if you think there's no strengths about you, like, you got to deal with us because we always go in and find those strengths and we'll help lift you up, elevate you. But the cool thing about this three month coaching is there's also a retreat attached to it. And this retreat is with us personally in our home. And it's awesome in San Diego. And we have a chef come in and we're cooking together, working out together, but we're also creating your vision together and helping seal it in for the full year. So when people come to these retreats with us and they coach with us like that, they change their life forever. I mean, like literally change their life forever. And I'm just going to show you, for those of you who haven't seen a couple people that came before, this is my friend Nicole that we worked with. This is her now. Now, I want you to notice, yes, you see her weight here, but that's not all that changed. Everything changed with her doing this. Her confidence changed. Her entire way of being changed. She's a new person because she did this with us. And it's not us. We facilitated the experience, but she did the work and it stuck. It stuck because of the experience. I'm also going to show you another one that came.
And while she's getting that. Somebody asked, you get to meet flops.
Huh?
Of course they get to meet flops.
No, they asked me to sell the dogs. So, yeah, so you can't see flops if you see my hands. Because he's my. He's my best friend and he's never more than two feet away. So, yeah, you get to meet floppers.
Okay, so this was Terry. Now, Terry was super bummed about her confidence. She definitely thought she had lost her way and let herself go. Carrie. Now look at her hot mama. She's like on fire. Came to this experience with us, worked with us, came to that breakthrough experience and changed everything. And I'm going to show you one more. I have so many of these. I'm going to show you one more. One of our favorite people. This is Landa.
This is her.
At first she totally said she felt she had let herself go. She had a story around her always being overweight. And this is her now. She just sent me this picture the other day about forgetting her confidence back. It stuck. So this works. So who is this for? And how do you apply? So first of all, it's for women only. Love you men. But it's ones for women only. I would Ideally, like women in their 40s and 50s. And here's why. I want people close in age going through the same things. I'm 47 and that's what I know right now. So I, you know, it would be a little awkward if I have like an 18 year old boy here. So we want, I want women 40s and 50s and that's who I'm attracting in here. That does not mean I won't like not consider you if you're 30s or 60s. But like ideally I want to keep people close in age to me also. You have to be ready, willing to commit and take action. Like no joke, like you're not kind of ready to take action. You're ready to like go all in, try different things, let expectations go and do this, like really do what we have in place for you. And I'm going to share this because it's important. I'm going to tell you how to apply. It is definitely not for you guys, not free. This is our time. We put aside other projects to do this and it works. But it's investing in yourself. And when you make that decision to invest in yourself, that's when change really happens. And I want Brooks to talk a little bit about that.
Yeah, it's for a lot of us. I know it's scary. I know how scary it was for me. It's an investment in yourself. It's three months and you're going to get the coaching. And what's really cool is you get the. So everybody, there's that voice in your head every, everything that you're afraid to really say what's going on because you think you're the only one that's dealing with that. What's really cool is when you're with a group of 10 people, you'll figure out that, wait a second.
Somebody will share something. Like, wait a second, I feel that same way. And all of a sudden you feel that you realize that you're not alone.
Yes.
And not only you're not alone, but then you have the community and the support, you have the coaching around and everybody goes, you hear about, you know, you're the culmination of the five people you surround yourself with. And a lot of times that could be hard for us because our friends or our environment, this is how you elevate because everybody is stretching, everybody is taking that step together and investing in themselves.
And I do want to share because some of you are coming. Laura, you just commented then I'm out. I get to save money. I respect saving money. However, I'm going to challenge you on that. And investing in yourself is an investment in your future. And when you have your confidence back, you create more income and you create happiness and you create a lot more. So I'm going to challenge you. For people that say there are 10 committed, but then they don't want to invest in themselves, you are not a 10 committed period.
That's the only thing people are saying. They're 10 committed. And in the slightest little inconvenience or discomfort, they're out.
It's okay. I love you if you're not committed. Like, you're not committed.
It's okay if you're not ready, but just be. Because I'm going to be honest with you. So. Because when you fill out the application and you tell me, for 30 years this has been holding me back, this is crippling me. This is what I do. And then you do that same thing I'm going to call you on. And if you say like, hey, I'm not ready, that's totally fine. But I'm not going to let you kid yourself.
Yeah.
Let that voice in your head. Let your ego keep letting another year go by without making any changes.
So some people are asking how to get it. It's nataliejillfitness.com apply. Nataliejillfitness.com Apply. It doesn't cost anything to apply. The more information you can give us on there, the more we can see if you're actually a candidate. And then nobody comes in. We don't accept anybody in unless we've actually talked to you. So as of right now, we have 55 applications. We've only extended an invitation to five people right now. So we are. We have a conversation with you. We pair groups together. We're only doing two groups like this. So if you're at all interested, apply. We'd love to hear from you. And I'm going to take some final questions about anything when I talked to you earlier or this program. Yes, Rosa, that's the program to apply for that one.
Yep.
Trudy is awesome. Thank you, Lenia. Okay, let's see more questions. All right, awesome. You guys, if you have questions later, you can go ahead and answer. Ask them on the thread and we'll make sure we check back. And I love to talk to you guys. See you later. Have a great night. Bye.
