The video records an Independence Day program held at TCE Mumbai in 2020. It features a series of short performances by students, staff, and community members. A six‑year‑old child, Shlok Vinesh Dogat, delivers a lively chant praising India’s flag, the Ashoka Chakra, and calls for peace amid the pandemic. Sushma Tota from NBU gives a reflective talk on nation‑building, linking individual effort to GDP growth and emphasizing civic responsibility such as obeying traffic signals and staying home when necessary. Mehhek Shah presents an original poem that celebrates India’s cultural diversity—its wildlife, monuments, dances, music, food, and regional uniqueness—asserting that Indian identity is rooted in culture rather than blood. A second speaker (Speaker A) recites a longer, rhythmic piece in a mix of Hindi and Sanskrit‑inspired verses, invoking duty, service, sacrifice, and collective vigilance. The program interweaves patriotic enthusiasm, civic education, cultural appreciation, and traditional devotional language, creating a communal tribute to India’s independence and a hopeful outlook during the COVID‑19 crisis.

Bharata Bhagya Vidhata. Jai Jai Hee! Jai Jai Hee! Jai Jai Hee! Jai Jai Jai Jai Jai Jai Jai Hee! Thank you. Hello everyone, my name is Shlok Vinesh Dogat. I am studying in Loreto Convent School, First C. I am 6 years old. I like to play cricket. We pray for peace between nations and help the world overcome this pandemic situation. Your response, Lord. We pray for our country and our people. Jai Hind! Thank you. Ever done, ever done, ever done. Johnny Bong, Johnny Bong, Johnny Bong. Ever done, ever done, ever done. Johnny Bong, Johnny Bong, Johnny Bong. Our pride India, brave saffron on the top. Pure white, just blue, truthfully green under the white. Ashoka Chakra, wonderful sight. Tri-color soaring high. Hills and halls, yours and mine. North to south and east to west. India, you are always our pride. Thank you, everyone.
Good evening, I am Sushma Tota from NBU. A very happy Independence Day to all of you. I would like to speak a few points about our contribution towards our nation. A nation is just a piece of land without its citizens, so it is all on to us to build it up. But what we build depends on what we are. Whatever we do, whatever little thing we do, it all goes to create assets, assets of India. Like, on one side of a coin, there is this thing called GDP which talks about the development of a nation. Like, a labor working in a factory— from a labor working in a factory to maybe a CEO of a multinational company, every individual contributes to the development of nation directly or indirectly. But what is expected is these individuals work sincerely upon the assignments they take. On the other side of the coin, there are these little things, little things which make huge difference. First and foremost is responsibility, responsibility for our younger generation, because these young generations learn from us. For example, do not jump the red signal even in the absence of traffic. This is what they notice from us. Or most like, live example you can take, like Do not step out of your house until unless it is essential, etc.
Hello everyone, I'm Mehhek Shah, daughter of Digan Shah from HR. This is a poem written by me based on India. A hello hug was transformed into namaste, giving the world an Indian culture reign. From an amazing history to the monument's mystery, it's been such a wonderful journey. The tiger, peacock, and lotus give an incredible national status, not forgetting on the emblem and snack. Aren't these the best things to crack? Bhangra in the north to Kathakali in the south, Garba is a taste in everyone's mouth. Let's not come to Indian food, it's quite enough to glow up everyone's mood. Every state has its uniqueness, the culture is destroyed with even one less. Each culture differs from the other, yet it stays as India, our mother. Hereby I admire every feature. Being Indian is not blood as much as it's culture. Thank you.
