TCE's InnoVista submission process starts with a simple form submitted 1-2 months after advance notice. The CTO and internal juries review entries at TCE level, then shortlisted innovations advance through pre-finals and finals rounds with presentations. Winners get recognition from senior leadership and substantial prizes, and the speaker urges teams to submit multiple entries yearly to build a culture of serial innovators.

Tata InnoVista process starts by receiving intimation of opening of the Tata InnoVista entries, and the intimation is sent very well in advance. You will get around 1 or 2 months' time to go through all the innovations what we have done in various projects and submit our applications. The application form is available on the Tata InnoVista portal. We have to download that form. Form is very easy, very simple. There are various categories. You have to choose proper category for your innovation, fill the very simple questions asked in the form, and submit. First level is at TCE level, where CTO and the juries within TCE scrutinize each and every form and evaluate, and the shortlisted entries were submitted at a Tata Group, Tata Innovista level. There are two rounds: pre-finals round. So entry shortlisted from within TCE, uh, directly goes to the pre-finals round. In pre-finals round, you have to present yourself, prepare a small presentation about your innovation, value additions, present to the juries, answer the questions. Those questions are only related to your innovations. So once you have shortlisted from pre-finals It is again final, and there also you have to present, convince the juries about your innovation, and then you are winner, basically. I feel everyone in TC is a serial innovator. Only we don't feel like we are doing something great or something innovation, but I feel in each and every project we are doing something which is different from the others. And that is why TCE stands out. TCE has this experience. However, for me, if you ask why I consider or what, what to be a serial innovator, there are two aspects. One is learning. When you participate in Tata Inovista, it is the biggest platform where you share your learnings you gain through your projects while execution of the projects, the innovation, the validation you have done. The second, you also learn from the others. Why? When you, you listen, or when you participate in pre-finals, finals, and you go attend all those presentations, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a huge learning experience. And that's the year. And once you start your participation, the next year automatically you will feel, no, I must participate, because there are so many participants they who are expressing, who are explaining, who are sharing their learnings, and then it becomes a habit. So the learning and the urge or passion to share learnings and learn more is what makes me serial innovator. The Vignesh experience was great. It was the proudest moment one could, you know, have, and it was the biggest pride or proud feeling because we achieved this during our Diamond Jubilee celebration year. So we were celebrating our 60th year and we achieved this Tata Inovista. So it was the biggest recognition one could have in his professional career. So, and it's a huge platform basically. Forget about winning or, you know, but it's participating, going to the finals, And winning, of course, when you receive award from Tata Group Chairman and your MD, it's, it's the biggest proud moment. See, basically, when you start participating in Tata Inovista, the culture is driven right from MD level. So MD follows up, so that motivation is from MD level to CTO level. And of course, during TC day where Everyone is, you know, waiting for getting recognition. That is the biggest platform where you will be recognized by our MD, by senior management, and at the winning team there is a huge prize also for the winning team. So, so that is what motivates us. And again, I want to repeat, I feel in TCE each and every project which we execute is different, is new, and we have tremendous potential of submitting number of entries in Tata Inovista. And I would be very happy to see 4, 5, 6, 7 trophies each and every year coming to TCE. As I explained, please go through that form properly. Please read the sentence. Read the questions. They are very easy questions. They only ask you what we have done in the project. It is nothing outside. It is like, don't feel like an exam. It is nothing out of syllabus. It is very simple questions. Write point-wise. Don't write or, you know, elaborate the things which we have not done. Make bulleted approach, very short sentence. But pointed answers. Try to correlate your innovation with the value additions, what organization has achieved, and the value additions for the client. How it has helped client, how it has helped organization, very simp— in very simple steps or in simple manner you put it. And then as a whole, how this innovation has helped society or the customer. So these are very 4-5— if I want to summarize, number 1, the objective. Number 2, value additions to your organization, to the client. And number 3, how this innovation is going to benefit organization to bring more and more business. So these 3-4 bullets, remember, again I am repeating, read those questions, answer only pointed, bulleted answers. Don't write paragraphs. Bulleted answers, crisp, short, but to the point. So all the best. Participate. We at TCE must participate in every year and must participate in a bulk.
