I feel the employees are very valued at TCE. Their talents are recognized from early stages and faster growth is ensured for all the high performers, increasing their growth potential. Also, the competency career framework clearly identifies the aspirations of the employees and helps in grooming them to do their best and for succeeding in their careers, which also helps TCE scale new heights as well.
Being part of all the projects of national importance, projects which add value to the community, And we live to the ethos of Tata Group that our existence is solely for the betterment of the society. And while living the ethos, whatever the satisfaction you get and the kick you get out of it is, I feel, is really beyond all the earthly pleasures.
TC has been successful in providing a very supportive infrastructure of strength to female employees, be it in providing tailor-made training programs exposure and experience which help us in our career. And TCE has very strengthening maternity programs which ensures that the transition from professional to motherhood and return to work is very smooth.
After receiving the appointment letter from TCE, I was thrilled to be an asset for such an esteemed organization. I thanks TCE for choosing me to be a part of the family. And having faith in me to deliver results.
Inovista Award is the most prestigious award among Tata Group. This year, 2022, we had around 36,000+ participants coming from various Tata Group companies. It was indeed a very proud moment for my team, including Mr. Nixon, Mr. Subramanian, Mr. Umesh, and myself, Namita, to represent TCE among the 58 finalists.
The LEAP program has been a very enriching experience experience, and we learned to know how to build trust around your team and then how to influence, you know, your stakeholders, your immediate team, everybody who is part of the ecosystem.
Under Shine mentoring program, based on my long-term goals, we have been assigned one mentor from the Tata Group of companies who is having an expertise in the same domain. It has helped me in broadening my horizon of thinking. It has cleared the way of how to achieve those goals based on the experiences that she has shared.
I take pride in being trained through YDP and STAR program, which helps in nurturing and protecting the engineering culture. The program is exciting as it allows the young talents to learn, unlearn, and relearn the essential skills and help them integrate the academic knowledge with the business requirements.
When I joined as a YDP, we were assigned one project of detailed engineering of around 900 retail outlets in a span of 2 years, which is extensive volume. With the usage of 3D tools like Revit and Navisworks, an extensive training model was created to become a plug-and-play type of model. With this, we could successfully complete 250+ retail outlets in a span of 6 months.
My wife was diagnosed as Corona positive. Everyone around my locality were infected. It was next to impossible to get one bed, in hospital. I called to my manager and sought his help. In no time, he reached out to admin and other seniors. They kept in touch with me and managed to get a bed in nearby hospital. I have never felt that I am alone. I had a big Tata family for my support.
