3 Things Marketing Funnel Must Have To Make Strangers Into Fans

A marketing funnel needs three things: a strong hook with an irresistible offer, proof like testimonials or case studies, and a clear next step telling visitors exactly what to do. Most marketers chase cheaper ads instead of optimizing these fundamentals, which moves the needle faster.

There are 3 things that every funnel must have if you wanna convert strangers into paying customers, raving fans, and supporters of your business. I'm gonna go through those all in this video, very short, very tactical, so you can take them, check your funnel, audit your funnel, and actually implement these 3 changes so you can start to get more conversions. Now, before I get into it, a really big thing that people kind of forget a lot about in your paid ads is they'll try to be lowering the cost per lead, the cost per booked call, the cost per sale from the ad side of things. And they tend to neglect the funnel side. It is first off a lot easier, a lot less work in a good way to optimize your funnel and bump that up by a few percentage points. And that will actually drop your cost per result, whatever that is, a lot more, a lot faster versus you trying to tweak and do stuff on the creative side, the copy or the audience side in the paid ads. So it's really important to make sure that you keep a track of tests and testing as much as you can inside of your funnel with your paid ads and all of your marketing efforts. Because if you're just focusing on one small thing, the funnel is where everyone ends up at the end of the day. So making sure that it aligns with all the ads and making sure that it hits these 3 points that I'm about to cover is very, very important. So let's just get right into it. The very first thing that your funnel needs to have if you wanna convert strangers into raving fans is a hook. Um, I'm just using my funnel here as an example because it's worked really well. And this is a really strong hook and it's almost a strong guarantee and an offer as well. So the hook can kind of be looped into and thought of in a few different ways. First off, it can literally just be the offer or the guarantee that they're getting. That itself makes a very, very strong hook. Whereas in this case, I'm talking about 150 pre-tested proven ad creatives that you can get right now. Strong offer, very specific, and it makes a point and tells them exactly what they're gonna get. If people are confused, Someone that's confused isn't gonna buy. So you wanna make sure that your hook makes sense. It's clear, it talks about the result, and it sounds honest as well. So that's the first thing. Second thing is making sure you have proof. And proof can be a lot of different things. Proof can really just be as simple as testimonials. It can be as simple as case studies or just data that shows that you're legit. So even here, this is a way— is proof in and of itself is inside this hook. 150+ pre-tested proven ad creatives. That right there is just proof that we have something that works. Even if there were no testimonials on this page, the fact that you're getting 150 pre-tested things gives some kind of credibility to all of it. And as well as goes throughout the page, I haven't even gotten into any of the testimonials yet inside of this lander of mine. Um, but it just shows creatives. That again is proof. If people like or dislike the creatives, whatever it is, they can see proof there. The way that you're talking about certain things and the way that you present your offer can also be proof as well. So don't just get stuck on the testimonials or the result. It can also be how you talk about your offer and how you're presenting everything as well. The third thing is making sure you have a clear next step and it loops into kind of a 3.5, uh, option here, which is clear next steps and having a CTA. So don't just educate, don't just present them the value, tell them exactly what to do. So you can see throughout the page here, get instant access. Get instant access. I'm littering it everywhere I possibly can. And then when people click, it shows them exactly what they get and it shows them exactly what to do, right? Super simple, very basic, and it's direct to the point. So it's super important to make sure that you're hitting those 3 elements. And there's also multiple things tied into each of those elements. Like with the hook, once again, it's not just about the hook of what you're writing and the copywriting around the hook. It's around the offer. Does the offer even give you a chance to have a good hook in the first place. If not, the offer is probably the issue. Just having a great hook isn't gonna be the end-all be-all. Second thing, like I said, just to reiterate this, the proof, making sure you have testimonials, case studies, and not just that, but actually presenting your offer in a way that makes sense and builds credibility in you is a very easy way that you don't necessarily need to have a ton of testimonials. If you just have the experience, you can prove that out within the ad. Um, or within the funnel itself as well. And you can do this in the ads too. And then finally, making sure you have a clear next step, not just educating, making sure you tell them exactly what to do and tell them exactly where to go and what they're gonna get.
