There's a recently added new option for how to optimize your ads through Facebook, and I want to show you what that option is, how you can best use it, and how you can actually set it up so you can utilize it and to its full degree and full potential. So let's get right into it. It really starts when you're actually making a brand new campaign or a new ad set, and it's actually going to exist here in the conversion location setup. So in most cases, If you are looking to advertise something for a purchase, and this is more for the purchasing side of things, you can choose to actually optimize on the performance goal based on conversions. So just maximize the number of conversions or by maximizing the value of conversion. Now, this is a really, really cool trick because you're actually gonna get a completely different kind of person for something like this. So let me kind of read the comparison for each. So maximum number of conversions is just showing ads to the right people most likely to take that specific action. Whereas maximizing the value of conversions is gonna be able to show the ads to people who are most likely to make a higher purchase. So if you're an e-com, you're doing some kind of low-ticket product for your coach, uh, for your coaching or consulting program, this maximize value of conversions is a really, really great metric. Now, the best way to really optimize for that is to also make sure that Facebook is tracking the value of your conversion across the board for your ads. So make sure when you're setting up your pixel that the value of the conversion is being tracked. If not, this isn't gonna do really any good for you. So that's something that's really, really awesome. It's a really easy way to just get a completely different kind of person and really optimize and raise your AOV at the end of the day. So it's something really, really cool that's been a little bit more recent in a lot of accounts in Facebook paid ads. Now, outside of that, let's say you want to increase the average order value of your purchase or your product that you're selling. There's a couple other ways that you can do that within the landing page side of things. I'm going to show you how to do that now, run through a couple of the best practices that I've seen work really well to raise your AOV. So let's get right into it. So this is one of our pages that have worked really, really well for us, had high conversion rates anywhere from 2.5% to 3.5% on cold traffic. And we have an average order value of around $150 to $170 with an acquisition cost of around between $50 to $60, which is pretty solid. So overall, what are some easy ways that you can raise your AOV? Let's first talk about the order form and the order bump more specifically. And an order bump is a really easy way to increase the average order value, and it doesn't need to be anything crazy. I think a lot of people will overthink these order bumps. You just need to make it something super, super simple. So whether that's something for $37, $27, we've gone all the way up to $97 as an order bump, or as low as $10, $11, it just needs to be something that really complements this current product that they're buying. So whatever product they're buying, something that complements it, whether that's in this case we're selling ad creatives, well, ad copy complements that really, really well. If you're selling a t-shirt, sell shorts or another t-shirt on top of that. Make sure it just complements it really well and have it feel something like it's done for you in a way. Always tends to work very, very well. The other easiest way to just squeeze the most average order value while also protecting that customer experience is having upsells and downsells. And I think a lot of people, what they'll do is they'll just slam their pages with 5 upsells and 6 downsells across the board. And sure, maybe you'll get a higher average order value, but the customer experience is horrible. Horrible. They're probably gonna refund it unless the products are amazing. But just badgering them with product over product over product isn't usually a great idea. So instead, make sure you curate the products and make them as highly valuable as you possibly can. And I think if you have 2 upsells and maybe a downsell to go along with 1 or 2 of them, it's a pretty healthy experience and it's a really easy way to increase your average order value. Then once you do that, you'll be able to go to your ad campaigns as long as you're tracking that. And when you optimize for the sales objective here, that's when you'll really be able to utilize this maximize value of conversions in a really, really powerful way. So try that out.
