Best way to scale your paid ads without creating anything new

In this instructional video, the presenter explains how to scale paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn without producing new creative assets. He demonstrates a practical workflow using a real‑world account that has spent roughly $39,000, generated over 600 sales, and achieved close to a 2× return on ad spend. The core strategy revolves around taking a proven winning ad and duplicating it multiple times while systematically testing three low‑effort variables: (1) audience segments (interest, age, gender) with daily budgets of $5‑$15, (2) manual placement selections (removing Audience Network, Messenger, certain in‑stream ads, and sometimes focusing exclusively on Stories or Reels), and (3) AI‑suggested text and headline variations supplied by the platform. Each test isolates a single variable to keep results clean, and the presenter emphasizes naming conventions (e.g., including placement type and launch date) for easy tracking. He invites viewers to join the free Predictable Profits Mastermind community to see ongoing results and receive feedback on their own accounts. The video concludes with a call‑to‑action to subscribe and watch the next tutorial.

So when it comes to scaling your ads inside of paid advertising, whether it's Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, one of the easiest places to start, or one of the most obvious places to start, is make more creatives, launch more creatives, test them, and you will find more winners so you can scale. Now, yes, that is a super important part of paid advertising. It's a big thing that all the platforms are pushing for, is that you really just need to launch more creatives, test more consistently those with those new creatives, and just make more. But I found that those creatives and making new creatives can absolutely help scale your paid ads. But there are other ways where you can still supplement new creatives and scale your ad account without necessarily creating anything new. So I'm gonna walk you through a few of those ways inside of an ad account that we've been running over the past few months. This is something where over the past month or so, we've spent around $39,000. Profitably generated well over 600 sales at a pretty good CPA. And we're profitable on this by quite a bit, close to a 2x return on ad spend, maybe right at a 2x return on ad spend. So this is from ads that we're running personally that's working. And we've been executing all of these same things for a lot of our clients and lots of really cool spaces, niches, and companies. So let's get right into it. And I'll show you a few of the ways that you can scale your ads without necessarily making anything new. And so what I'm gonna do for these examples is I'm actually gonna make them and execute them inside of my ad account. And what I'll probably do is post some kind of follow-up inside of our school community, the Predictable Profits Mastermind. Now I know everyone has a school community, everyone's trying to pitch something in it. We don't pitch anything inside of the school group. We just give straight advice, feedback, reviews of your ad accounts, totally free, no strings attached, and tons of really good stuff that you can use inside of your paid ads. So if you want to see how these tests have actually done over the next week or so, I will be posting results in here so you guys can see how it actually is working. So the first thing I'm going to do is basically just filter down over the past week and see just what's been working best for us. And I can kind of pick off a couple of our top winners here, and I'll just start with these 2. And what I'll do is I'll just start with— let me see what creatives these are running. Both pretty similar. I'm going to start with this one because it's a little bit of a newer creative for us. And all we're really gonna do is we're gonna duplicate this ad. We can do the same campaign or a new one, just depending on how you wanna organize it. And the first thing is audience testing. I talk about this a lot, but it's super underrated. Not enough people are doing it. We did the same exact thing with someone we just started working with who'd been running creatives forever and had a cap of like a $10 cost per lead. We did it, just tested an audience and got the cost per lead down to $2 consistently. So it's a really easy test to do. You don't have to make anything and it requires very minimal budget. And so what I like to do is I like to duplicate it anywhere from 3 to 10 times, whatever you're comfortable with, duplicate it, that winner. And then what you'll start with is adjusting the budget down a little bit. So, and this looks like it's in a CBO campaign, so I'm gonna back out. And we're gonna have to drop this into a new campaign. So let's call it asset testing, and then I'll finish naming it here in a little bit. So I'll put it in the new campaign. All right, so I've duplicated it there, and then I'll just duplicate it 4 more times. So we've got 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. All right, and then for those, what I'll usually do is I'll set the budget fairly low, whatever you're comfortable with, but I usually do between $5 and $15 a day. In this case, I'm just gonna do $11. Everything here is good. Now we'll go ad by ad, and we're basically just gonna test a slightly different audience. So in this case, I'm just gonna— the winner was women. I'll just do everyone. The next one I'll do women, but I'll maybe add in some different interests. And how I like to go about interests is I'll click one, or I'll find one that I know has worked well for me in the past. Facebook then gives you a ton of suggestions, and then you can either pick off another few of them to get you to around 5, or just do a single interest, and that tends to work really well too. So those are a few different ways that you can vary your audiences. Age is another very easy way to do this. You can simply just adjust the age range a little bit. But the idea is, is you only wanna test one variable at a time. So you don't wanna go in here and change it to all and do an age range and do a different grouped interest. 'Cause it's not gonna be as of a clean test as it could be. But you get the idea. It's a very simple way that you can test audiences simply just by, and test new things just by tweaking a few things at low budgets. You can get quick wins really, really fast. Next one is something that I don't see enough people talking about, and it's actually the placements. So I think if you go in here and you go to manual placements, Tweaking some of these a little bit can actually drive really strong results. I usually like to get rid of Audience Network and Messenger. And the other thing you can do now is get rid of Search Results, In-Stream Ads. I'd keep those, and I basically keep like the top ones. So like Facebook Feed, Profile Feed, same thing with Instagram. Yes, I get rid of Marketplace. I'll keep Video and Right Column. Right Column is super underrated. I'll keep Explore and Explore Home, but I'll get rid of Business Explore. Stories and Reels always are good to have. In-stream ads, I get rid of. Search, messages, apps and sites, I get rid of those entirely. Just testing and optimizing for different placements can be a huge win. Another thing that I've done that has brought really great results is I'll actually get rid of everything and just do Stories and Reels. Just a Stories-only one, especially for a video ad, tends to work really, really well, and they can be really cheap too. So at this point now, we've tested audiences, we've tested placements, and I usually just like to put in the title whatever the placement is that I'm testing. So Stories, and then I usually put the date in here as well so I can see when I launched it. So placements, audiences, what's the last thing we can test without necessarily creating anything new? And it's really in the ad itself. And I get what you're saying. You just told us that we don't have to make anything new, and now you're telling us to make something new, but it's not like you have to make a brand new creative. It's either taking the AI examples that Facebook has given you or making some AI variations for yourself is something very easy you can do. This is something small that I'm testing now where I'm applying all the text variations and recommendations from Facebook where it'll kind of rotate those different text variations. And I'll do the same on both the body copy and the headline to see how that does. Now, once again, the purpose of this is to take a winner and scale it as much as you can. So doing all these different variations works best when you have a winner. This isn't good when you're trying to test something brand new for the first time because it's not gonna be a true test. You're not gonna know what really worked or really didn't. And it just muddies the water on everything else. So doing these small tests are very easy ways where you don't necessarily have to make more, but you can also get really, really great results from testing these things. So I'll go ahead and publish these now. So we've got these 5 tests. I'll go ahead and publish them. And we're good to go. And like I said, if you want to see the results of these tests, join the Predictable Profits Mastermind. It's 100% free. It should be the first link in the description of this video.
