One of the best ways to get better results in your Facebook ads, in your paid advertising, and in any of your marketing is by testing the copy that you have in your posts, your ads, or even your creatives. So in this video, I want to show you how you can actually do that in a really effective way. And I'll actually also show you how I use AI to help with this writing process and get you over any writer's blocks, which I know it can be really, really common. So First things first, let's talk about what the copy can actually help influence when it comes to your ad performance. So your copy can help influence a couple of things besides just baseline performance and helping your ads perform a lot better. It's really gonna help you drop your cost per link click. It's gonna help get your link click-through rate usually a lot higher as well, especially through the headline. And you're gonna have much better ad-to-funnel or ad-to-audience alignment. Which can be really important for just getting higher conversions and getting the right person to your page to buy your product or opt in for something. And I think a lot of people do tend to obsess over the audience targeting. And don't get me wrong, that is really, really important, but not testing copy is a really big mistake. And I think more people should be testing copy. So let me show you an example of really the things that I like to look for, what I like to test, what I like to change. So for example, we've got this ad right here, or these set of ads that are working really, really well. And I'm using this copy. Now for us historically, this ad copy has worked very, very well. It's continued to work really well. And I would like to keep doing that. So a couple of key changes that you can make, it really comes down to this first line of text right here, which people can see before they hit the see more button. The goal ideally with a lot of these ads, and in this case we're looking at like Facebook and Instagram, is to get them to continue reading this thing and get them more invested. So talk to the conversation that's going on in your prospect's mind. Think about how can you pull these people in more. And a lot of it can be around recent events, 50/50 split decisions, like choosing this or that kind of a thing, which can really, really help. So let me show you how I use AI to do it, and then I'll also do it myself. But if you're ever having a writer's block, what I love to do is if you have a piece of copy that you know works, you can just hop into AI. And I'm just using ChatGPT in this example. You could use something like Jarvis if it's still called that, and any AI software. But basically you can say this ad is working really well. Can you write a new version that includes some kind of shocking statistic in comparison to the first line is what I'm gonna do. And what this can really help with, can't even spell. What this can really help with is just hooking people a lot more. Your click-through rates are gonna go up. Everything's gonna usually perform a lot better. So let's see kind of what it comes up with. 95% of ads fade into digital obscurity while a select 5% capture the lion's share of market attention and profits. Difference lies in choosing between playing it safe with on-brand ads or daring to venture out of the box. So this is actually a pretty good— this isn't too bad. I would probably want this hook to be a little bit stronger. But I do kind of like this like bullet point overview of the whole thing. So that's great. That kind of gives me an initial idea. And what we could do is drop that in. And I probably still want to change this section. So, and I think a great lead-in and a great hook that you can have and you can test is, would you rather? So would you rather influence 10,000 people or make $10 million, right? So this is a super good hook. And then you could go into the rest of them. So think about that when you're thinking about testing new copy, would you rathers. We've done stuff before like Dunkin' or Starbucks. So like this versus that. So you could like for my ads specifically, you say on brand versus Not branded, right? So there's different stuff like that you could do versus this or that. You could just make a very bold and strong statement. You could just say on-brand creatives never work. I don't know why I had a comma there. But stuff like that is really easy to test in your copy. And if you simply just test something like this every week, and do a handful of different lead-ins, a handful of different claims, different headlines as well tend to work really, really well. This is something super simple that you can test in your ads to drive your results in a much better direction, even if you're doing stuff like e-commerce. And I think with e-commerce, a lot of people will definitely neglect copywriting and testing their ad copy. 'Cause like, oh, I'm just selling like a t-shirt or a product. It's hard for me to like sell that thing. You should try to sell it. You need to, because just testing copy, we found, and keeping everything the same, you can get drastically better and drastically different results simply by testing the copy and not changing anything else. So I'd highly recommend giving that a shot. If you want access to this funnel diagnostic cheat sheet, you can join the group below and you'll get access to it. It's just in the description. We go over all these different KPIs. What they mean, what it affects, and then how you can actually influence it. And this is a really great resource to use. It's amazing. It has tutorials on everything because at the end of the day, to get better ad performance is by looking at these KPIs, making decisions based off of them, and then going out there and taking action on those decisions that you've decided to make, whether that's by making new assets, testing a new audience, doing more research, so on and so forth. So I hope you enjoyed this video. If you have any questions, please drop them below in the comment section and I'll see you in the next one.
