My $100M Paid Ads Strategy (12x ROAS on Fb Ads)

In this 12‑minute YouTube presentation, Nicolas Korvessis outlines a six‑step system designed to uncover a hidden $1 million in profit within any business by optimizing paid‑advertising funnels, particularly on Facebook. He argues that marketers waste energy obsessing over “perfect” leads and instead should focus on funnel architecture. The steps are: (1) generate top‑of‑funnel engaging content through systematic creative testing, naming ad sets by asset type and using quick‑to‑produce formats (memes, simple graphics, short videos) and repurposing high‑performing organic assets; (2) retarget audiences with differentiated messaging—target non‑clickers and page‑visitors separately, address objections, and vary value propositions; (3) implement automated, purposeful follow‑up via email and SMS, delivering consistent, value‑driven content such as a weekly “Ad of the Week” to nurture leads; (4) diversify backend offers (e.g., live workshops, case‑study sales) to supplement the primary funnel and capture additional revenue; (5) use ad‑test performance data to inform broader creative strategy, creating text‑heavy ads at low spend to discover resonant themes that guide future content; and (6) adopt a media‑buying framework centered on tracking core KPIs (CTR, CPC, CPL, ROAS) with a free cheat‑sheet, interpreting why ads succeed or fail before cutting spend. The video concludes with calls to action for free resources, monthly trainings, and subscription prompts.

There's $1 million hiding in your business, and I'm gonna show you where you can find it. And it all revolves around this 6-step process to maximizing your marketing campaigns and taking things from a 1x, 2x, to even a 4x return on ad spend. And the biggest problem that I see people running into when they're running paid ads or they're doing marketing is that they obsess over the kind of people that they're getting. They have to have the best leads, the wealthiest leads, and the leads that don't have any objections. And the truth is, if you're focusing on these things, you're never gonna find success that's consistent and predictable through your marketing campaigns. Even if you're organic, paid, or even doing some kind of an affiliate partnership, you're not going to see that consistency if that's all you're focused on. So these 6 steps are going to show you how to maximize your funnel so you can create predictable profits and actually have something that's sustainable and not only growing your business for today but for years down the road. So let's get right into it. I'm going to show you what these 6 steps are, how you can optimize your marketing campaigns through paid ads, with your media buying, with your creative processes and just everything across the board so you can have the best funnel and find that extra million dollars that's hiding in your business right now. Let's get into the 6 steps, starting with the first one, which is top-of-funnel engaging content. I think one of the easiest ways to find success in your marketing funnels is to create more top-of-funnel engaging content on the paid ad side, just like you will on organic. Making lots of content is gonna allow you to just crush your competition and get the best results you possibly can. So how do you actually go about doing this when you're in the paid ads, like an ads manager? It really comes down to just creative testing. So I always have a campaign that's either titled creative testing if I wanna be a little bit more specific, or ad asset testing where I'm testing a ton of assets. You can see in just this one campaign over the past few months, we've tested a ton of different creative and lots of different variations. In lots of different ways. So this is one really easy way to do it. You can also organize it this way where based on what you're testing, just name that something different in the ad set. So for example, if I'm testing creative, I'm gonna title it creative at the ad set level. If I'm testing copy, I'm gonna name it copy. So I know at a quick glance what exactly that it is that I'm testing. And it's a really great way to really improve your ad results quickly. Now to kind of round this one out, what should you be testing? Like what are some examples? I think the easiest things to test are the things that you can crank out the quickest. So things like memes, simple graphics that are easy to replicate, quick videos that you don't obsess over filming. These are the best assets that you can test through your paid ads. Another great thing that you can do that's been working really, really well recently is by taking existing organic content that's working very well and then putting it inside the Ads Manager as a test within itself. Next, let's talk about retargeting. Now, a lot of people will really confuse and do retargeting the wrong way because they're just going broad or they're just hoping for something to work. The key is that you need to offer something different in your retargeting. You need to present it a different way. If someone came across an ad with Spider-Man and they didn't click and they didn't buy, right? Or in this case, Hulk, why would you then put that exact same ad in front of them with the exact same copy and hope that they're gonna do anything different? It's just not going to work and you're planning to fail. So there's 2 ways that I really like to think about retargeting and how I like to do them, both from a media buying perspective and a marketing perspective. So from a media buying standpoint, I always like to retarget just everyone that's seen the ad, but that hasn't clicked to see if I can get them to click again, because it ends up being a little bit cheaper. And second, I love to retarget people that have hit my page, but that haven't opted in. And if I do those 2 things, you tend to get really, really good results from your paid ads. If you have a big enough audience size. A lot of people will try to do retargeting right out of the gate just when they're starting because they think they can get a quick win. And maybe you can, but it ends up costing you a ton of money, a lot more than it would if you just stuck with cold traffic and really mastered that first. So an easy way to kind of structure these things is one, address objections that potential customers could have. If it's a price point thing, address that objection. If it's the size not fitting right, address that objection. You want them to have those objections. That's great. That's not the problem. The problem is if you aren't addressing them in your paid ads. The other thing that I like to do is sell things for different reasons. If you're selling a chair, one reason why someone may like that chair is because it's comfortable. Another reason may be just because it looks good. You gotta make sure to hit those different angles in your ads. So people, cuz people are gonna buy things for different reasons. So make sure to do that in your retargeting. Next thing you need to make sure you have in place to get maximum results from your paid marketing efforts is some kind of follow-up. A lot of people will just give up once they get the lead, and it's not even that they're giving up, it's just that they get the lead and they don't really do anything with it. So don't rely on yourself, rely on technology, build an automation where you're delivering them consistent emails and consistent text messages to get them to take the action you want to take. It can be something ridiculously simple, but you need to find something that's very repeatable and that you'll always come up with new content for. So think about the core of your business and what your business is actually doing for people. Try to see if you could replicate a small piece of that to give away to people every single week. So for me, whenever someone signs up for my email list, they join something called the Ad of the Week, where every week I send a new ad that's been working for us inside of our business. We're already doing it in our business. We're gonna make the ads whether or not I had an email list or not. So why not share the winning ads with a group of people? That'll get value from it. It'll build goodwill. And I mean, it's just ridiculously valuable. You gotta make sure you have follow-up and you have to have purposeful follow-up as well. Just like the retargeting, it can't be the same thing over and over again. Make sure you're presenting things in a different way, in a different light, and always make sure that you're giving them a call to action. The next thing you wanna do is make sure that you're offering something different. So for this partner of ours, we actually run workshops for them. And there's actually a case study that I have on our website where we generated a 12.5 times return on ad spend from this specific strategy. Now, this is basically their entire strategy is getting people to these live workshops, teaching them and selling them, and it works ridiculously well. We also get leads for really, really cheap considering the amount that we're spending on a lot of these ad campaigns. However, this is something that can supplement your main ad strategy very, very well. So if you're running ads, let's say to a product or to a lead magnet like I send people to, That's great. But what you could also do is on the backend or through another ad, promote something different. Once again, it kind of relates back to that first point or the first or second point where we're selling things in a different way. So make sure you do the same thing through your paid ads. The next thing that I wanna share is how making new ads can actually power your entire creative strategy in your business. So you don't have to spend a ton of money on this, but what I really like to do is make a ton of different ads that really just have text. So I'll find one here for you that kind of looks— go to this ad account here. It'll kind of look like this. 90% of the picture is text, but what you can do is you can test a ton of these at really small budgets, see which ones get the most clicks, the highest click-through rates, and the best leads. And that can actually fuel the rest of your creative content in your business. If you tested this one that said business don't— business owners don't know how to get customers on autopilot, and then you tested another one that talks about getting high-ticket clients each month, and this one performed way better than the other one, you know that your next 2, 3 videos should focus around this content because you know this is the one that resonated. A lot of people don't see paid ads and use it this way. I really recommend to try to think about using paid ads this way at a bare minimum. Even if you're not using them at all, because it'll really just fuel your creative process and you'll be able to just make stuff that you, you know, people actually are interested in instead of just guessing. And finally, let's talk about the media buying behind the process. It's really important to have some media buying process and strategy that actually works, and it comes down to tracking your KPIs. I see too many people that just look at an ad, they see it not working, and they're like, oh, it's not working. I don't know what the heck to do now. And like they just cut it and they rinse and repeat. You gotta understand why an ad is working and also why it isn't working. And I find people neglecting either both of these or one of the others. So make sure that you actually know your KPIs. There's a completely free cheat sheet below. You can reach out to me to get it, um, or you can just pause the video and check it out right here. These are really the core KPIs that I like to look at. This sheet shows you what they mean at a 3rd grader level and then how to influence it. So a really good one that I recommend for you to look at is click-through rate. This will tell you how well your creative is actually performing. If your creative isn't working, there's a few different ways that you can actually improve that creative. You can either just make a new one, you could test different video and copy hooks, or you could simply just change the headline. 'Cause sometimes that headline in the creative or in the ad itself is also driving that click-through rate. So it's really important to have all this stuff in place. Those are the 6 things.
