All right, welcome to part 1 of a 5-day video challenge where I'm gonna show you how to maximize your return on ad spend, maximize your marketing efforts without needing to spend any more money on your paid ads. So this 5-day challenge obviously is gonna be breaking down into 5 videos. It's gonna be super actionable, very straight to the point, built so you can just take the information, use it right away, and implement it and see growth and success inside of your business. So let's get right into it. This first day is all about refining your niche, redefining your niche. And it breaks down into 4 key points that I'm gonna quickly go over. I'm gonna give you a free document that you can use to go along with this, and this one will be pretty quick and easy, which is all fine. So first things first is you really need to make sure that you understand your audience deeply, identify their pain points, know what are their biggest challenges or needs. And an easy way to do this is just to go to look at other competitors, see what ads they're running, and then just talk to your customers. And if you don't have any customers, talk to people that could be your potential customers and see what their biggest challenges are, what are their biggest needs, et cetera. The next point is to research where they hang out. Go into things like Reddit, different things like YouTube channels, comment sections in YouTube channels, different communities and forums. I think Reddit is a really great spot to do some research because there's a lot of very candid conversation going back and forth inside of different Reddit communities. And you can get very, very specific in those communities based on who you wanna work with and all that kind of good stuff. Next is then taking all that information that you just found and creating a customer persona. So figuring out your ideal customer's age, what their income would be, what their values are, and their behaviors. And like I said, even if you're in business and you have a great and successful business, I think it's important to do this refining your niche exercise every so often, at least maybe once or twice a year to see kind of where trends are going, what people are actually buying from you for, and what problems people are actually having. Because a lot of the time you'll think that people are having one problem, but in reality they're having another one. So it's important to kind of revisit this And look into it as well. Second thing, and I kind of touched on this, but analyzing competitors, study their messaging, what's resonating most with their audience. Look at their ads, look at their comment section from their ads, look at their YouTube channels or look at their social platforms and see what people are engaging with. And then identify the gaps inside of the market. What things are your competitors not addressing and how can you take that and actually address it inside of your course program or business? Then you can reverse engineer their strategies by looking at their ads, content, and offers. And then finally, you want to keep in mind that you do want competitors at the end of the day. It means that there's a lot of money in your niche. It means that there's a lot of people that have a problem that need it solved. And if you have a lot of competitors, you can go after those people by making your offer a little bit better than theirs and more unique. Okay. And now getting into the final 2 points. Third thing is redefining your value proposition. Third thing is actually refining your value proposition. So how can you articulate in a very simple manner what makes you different compared to competitors? And a really great way that you can actually take this and mold it into a better way to sell to people is if you can tell people their problem and the solution that they're looking for. In the simplest form possible, like don't overcomplicate it. It'll make you seem like you're a very big expert in what they're trying to solve, and they'll more than likely come to you. And how you can do that is by highlighting the transformation that your audience will experience. And at the end of the day, your customers care about outcomes more than anything else. They don't care about a service or a product or how cool you are. They, they just care about the outcome. They just care about if I buy this thing, if I use this thing, Is it going to give me the outcome that I want? So that's what you should really be focusing on when you're refining your niche. And I know we're not necessarily talking about a ton of paid ad strategies, and I'm not showing the ads manager yet, which is fine. I think a lot of people will almost— they almost exclusively will focus on what small media buying trick can they do, what small tests can they make, what creatives can they make. But if you take the time to go through these 4 different points here, you're gonna have a better creative and better results in inside of the Ads Manager when we get to that point in the next couple days of going through this challenge. So super important, refine your value proposition. I think it's so easy to miss this point, but make sure your customers just care about the outcomes. So focus on that inside of your messaging and when you're refining your niche, ensure it aligns with what they care about most. And last but not least, just don't overcomplicate this whole first step. Go through this part quickly. You can always change your niche later. It's just like testing new ad creatives or new audiences. It's okay if right off the bat something's not working, 'cause you can always stop it, retweak it, retool it, do a little bit more research, and then try again. Super simple. That's day 1. Now I've got a free document for you to go along with this. It's this audience and ad research doc. What this does is it basically takes all these 4 points that I just discussed and it boils it down into a 5-page document. You can go in here, you can fill this out, and you should be able to answer all of the questions and pretty much refine your niche, whether you're finding it for the first time or you're redefining it because you've been in business for a while. This will help you get very clear on it. And when you take the time to do this, like I said, we're not in the Ads Manager today, and that's fine because when you take the time to do this, when you do make your ads, when you do make your marketing, it's gonna be 10 times better if you take the time to go through and do this. Don't mull over this too much. Do take the time to do it, but don't spend too much time. Don't try to perfect it. It's okay if it's not perfect on your first run. So you'll see that resource down in the description. Last but not least, if you want more support with refining your niche, there's a totally free group that I've made called the Predictable Profits Mastermind. You can click below in the description to join totally for free. Ask questions. I'll give you feedback. I'll give you guidance on how to refine your niche correctly. And there's also a ton of free resources inside the community. I'd love to see you in there. That's all for day 1 of this 5-day challenge. I'll see you in the next one.
