1 in 4 boys in the United States is diagnosed with ADHD #shorts

Do you know 25% of boys in the United States are diagnosed with ADHD? That's crazy. That's unbelievable. Maybe it's not that the boys brains are somehow broken. Maybe it's the system that we're putting these boys in that they're not prepared for at 5 or 6 years old. To sit there all day like good little children and listen to some sage on a stage blabble on for an hour, that's not natural for a little boy to do at 6 years old. And then we say, well, they have ADHD because it makes the teacher's life easier. Of course there are cases that do require medication. Again, I'm not a doctor, we're with children. Be extremely cautious. Before you take medication, you should try these techniques. Why? Because pills don't teach skills. Simple things like learning a practice to deal with those internal triggers. Step number two is making time for traction. We can talk about like the nuts and bolts of how do you do that? Step number three, hacking back external triggers. Step number four, preventing distraction with packs. These are things anyone can do with or without adhd. If the skills don't work, if you've tried everything you could possibly try with non pharmaceutical interventions, then go to pharmaceutical interventions.
