In this short instructional video, Nitu Mohanka explains a practical method for building and maintaining new habits by leveraging existing daily routines as triggers. She illustrates the technique using the example of pairing a morning tea habit with a workout, recommending that viewers repeat the trigger‑action sequence for at least 21 consecutive days to cement the pattern. Mohanka then introduces the concept of habit stacking—adding additional habits onto an already established trigger‑action pair—to progressively construct a disciplined lifestyle. She shares personal success, encourages viewers to try the approach, and asks for feedback in the comments.

If you struggle with creating good habits for yourself, say for example, if you have to work out every day and you are struggling with that and not being able to stay consistent with this, here is an easy hack of creating habit triggers. So how do you do that? If you have an already existing habit, say for example, you take tea in the morning, right? So that can become the precedent habit of the habit that you want to follow through. So if you want to work out and if you have an existing habit which you do every single day, which is taking tea, set up the finish of your tea time with the start of your exercise time, the workout time. So what will happen is if you keep doing this, that the moment you finish your tea, you go ahead and you do your workout. The minute you finish your tea the next day, you go ahead and you do the workout. You will set up your mind for a trigger. The trigger would be finishing of tea for completing the task, which is to take through your workout routine. Do this for good consecutive 21 days at least and see that you have been able to create a pattern in your mind where the mind automatically starts sending triggers that, okay, now you have done it once, twice, thrice. It means that this is the trigger and this is the activity that I need to do after the trigger. Stack your habits on each trigger. So, you know, this habit of tea, you have stacked another habit of this on top of it, which is for workout. Now, next time you complete your workout, if this is a set habit, you can stack another habit on top of it. This is called habit stacking, and this is how you create a disciplined life which will get you all your desired outcomes. Believe me, I have done it and it definitely works. Try it and let me know in the comments if it worked for you as well. Take care, all the best.
