Whenever you feel that you are overthinking a lot and it is overwhelming, here is the easy declutter technique that you can use to get out of that state. Step 1 is take a paper and whatever is in your mind, whatever thoughts are coming in your mind, write it down on a piece of paper point-wise. Just make as many points as you can so that whatever you have here, you have dealt with on that paper. Then start reading that paper and see what is it that is not in your control. Say, for example, the Prime Minister said something, the economy is falling, there is a flood somewhere, or someone said something that was not in your control. Whatever is not in your control, just cut it off. Just cut it off. Then see what are left. The things that are left, that would have an action point to it. Transfer all the action points for the other thoughts on a fresh piece of paper so that now you have a paper that gives you inputs on what you can do, what is in your control. Tear off the old paper and throw it away. You will see that instantly you have been able to come out from a stuck, overwhelming, overthinking state to a state where you are ready to take actions on the things which is in your control. Try this declutter technique and let me know in the comments if this helps. Take care, all the best.
