Here is the hiring mistake that burns out most entrepreneurs. You have to start realizing that you are actually not the best person to do everything. And one of the best pieces of advice I got was from Ayman Abdallah. Ayman told me one day that you need to start being allergic to work. Pretend that you will have an allergic reaction if you did some work. And this sounds so counterintuitive to me. Working hard is like part of my DNA because of my upbringing and my immigrant parents. But he said, no, you're at a stage in your life where you don't need to do all this anymore. Once you have traction in your business, once you have customers, you have to start working on getting you to work less. That's your new priority. And this adds incredible amount of value to your business because you can sell the business and it'll still run. Even if you don't want to sell your business, what if you want to take a holiday? What if you want to pursue something else and start another business? You can continue to do that and you can see yourself as an investor in your own business rather than the operator.
