Most people overcomplicate marketing. Marketing's actually pretty simple. Here are 3 steps that you could follow to have an effective marketing strategy. Anytime you market, whether you're putting out content online or you're running an ad, do these 3 things. Number 1, make sure it's something of value, something that your customer or your audience would really benefit from, something that they can learn. It could be information, it could be a tip, it could be something that they can take away and say that in itself is valuable. This will earn you trust and make sure that they take on the next step. That's actually step number 2, which is to take them to the next step. So whatever marketing message that you have, whatever value you're offering, make sure they know what to do next, whether it's to like, subscribe, or sign up for your newsletter. The third thing is that you have to deliver additional value in that next step. If you ask them to, hey, sign up for my newsletter or to download my guide, that guide has got to be so valuable they're going to feel like they should have paid for it. This is going to allow you to earn even more trust and get them interested in buying your paid product. It's just that simple. Comment the word marketing and I'll make sure I send you the full episode in your DMs.
