Two people discuss building a team. Skills can be taught, but attitude cannot. They want people who are honest, open, and collaborative, who actually enjoy the work. With the right people in place, they say there are no excuses.
I think Nicole and I really believe in hiring people with a good attitude. You can train skills, you can teach pretty much anything, right? But you can't teach somebody to have a great attitude, to have somebody that wants to work hard, that wants to go after it, that wants to learn, that wants to grow.
A team that is creative, is collaborative, is willing to be honest and open about the whole production process, to be contributing and bringing their different skills and their different sets of talents and abilities, sharing ideas, interacting with each other and having fun in the process.
I think we have what we need to achieve the goals that we've set out. We really have no excuses now. We can make it happen. We're going to thrive.
We're producing better quality content, we're producing more content, and we're having fun doing it. What I love is that the team has gelled so well, and so every day is super fun, and we're just getting started. So watch this space.
