Omar Zenhom made $28,000 in 90 days with a web-design agency, but every dollar required his direct time. He argues that without scalable products, you hit a ceiling defined by your hourly rate, no matter how many tactics you chase.

Most people that want to become millionaires are focusing on the wrong thing. They focus on tactics. They think it's a particular investment, a side hustle, the morning routine, the productivity tips. I get it. Tactics feel actionable. But here's what nobody's telling you. Tactics without the right framework to execute those tactics are a waste of time and money. I know this because I spent years doing exactly that, trying to find the hack. I built a web design agency out of necessity when I quit my teaching job at 32 and moved to New York City. With nothing. I got 4 clients, $28,000 in 90 days. By any reasonable measure, that was success, right? I had a successful start. But here's what I understood eventually. Every dollar I made required my direct time and skill. There was no leverage. There was no product that's being sold while I sleep, right? Which meant I had a ceiling defined by how many hours I had available and how much I could actually charge per hour. No matter how hard I worked, I could not get past that ceiling. In my opinion, this is not true entrepreneurial success because now instead of having some boss controlling their ceiling and not giving them a promotion, the ceiling is built into the business itself. This is a trap that keeps most entrepreneurs comfortable but not wealthy.
