Guys, what's up? This is your chief and upline Patman Senathiraja recording this message from my humble home in PJ Malaysia. Alright, I just realized that all the videos I've recorded for you over the past six, seven years has been with the office in the background. Whether you got one downline, two downlines or, or 20,000 or 200,000 downlines. This word upline is highly misunderstood. We use it as a terminology everywhere. You introduce your uplines to me and say, chief, this is my upline Chief, I'm so lucky to have you as an upline, okay? Like I always say, I have the greatest upline on the planet. Dato Sri Vijay Ishwant. But a lot of people don't understand what is the role of an upline, okay, in network marketing. I think one of the weaknesses of network marketing, listening to your upline is a choice. In our traditional screwed up life, listening to your boss is not a choice. You have to or you don't get paid. But network marketing allows this level of freedom where you have a choice whether you want to listen to your upline or not. And a lot of people in the past 15 years have come to me even stating their hatred for the uplines, okay? For many reasons. Now you must understand this. Network marketing is fundamentally a business where the upline has huge responsibilities towards his downlines. The upline has a huge responsibility to guide, to provide information, all right? To motivate, to inspire, to occasionally push, all right? To wake them up when they're sleeping. To be there as a mentor, as a guide. Now a lot of uplines feel that being an upline is a position of power. Then they fall into this moronic trap that they suddenly think they are the most powerful God for their downlines, you understand? And they start ordering their downlines around and, and they start treating their downlines as lower level people. And they sit from the top and say, you shut up and listen to me. You bring me water, you make me coffee, you wash my car. You understand? That's moronic. Network marketing is not about power. It's about respect. It's about love. It's about admiration. Dato Sri Vijay Yishwan has never imposed any power onto me. I love the man. I respect the man tremendously. I respect his wisdom, his work ethic, most importantly his heart, his care for me and my downlines. And I would follow him anywhere. That's a great upline. The minute an upline has to resort to power and authority, it will never last. Before a few weeks or a few months, you will have a coup d', etat, an uprising in your own organization where they will go against you, break away and start their own organizations. I have built this network for 15 years. I am your upline. And I have always resorted to care, motivation, inspiration, logic, enough knowledge and a little bit of pushing. But I push with love. And that's why people are willing to be pushed by me. The minute I pushed and said shut up, I'm your upline, I lost the battle, Alright? I become weak and no one is going to follow you. But the most important role of the upline is to understand that being an upline, you cannot tell somebody to do something that you have not done. Now this is a fundamental rule. You cannot tell somebody to do rule three and you have never done rule three. You cannot tell somebody why you are not doing presentations and they observe that you haven't done a presentation for the past three years. Are you guys with me? Yes, you are. Alright. This is fundamentally important. And my advice to all of you uplines out there, don't tell people to do something you have not done or you're not doing. Because after a while they find out they lose trust in you, they lose faith in you and they eventually lose respect and they break away and they start their own thing. So if I'm going to tell people to present, I'm doing equal amount of presentation. Even today I'm retired, I sit down, you know, enjoy life, travel around the world and talk to you morons with love. But I still go out and do presentations. Now, if you are an active networker, if you are an active upline, how can you tell somebody to do something you're not doing. Isn't that hypocrisy? And no one is going to follow you. So before you talk about rule three, eight basic building blocks. Have a dream. Make sure you do. Presentacion. Presentacion Presentation. Make sure you're doing it alright. And if you're doing it and you say it, people will listen like that. People will follow you, alright? Until today, people trust me enough to listen when I train them. Because I will never teach people what I don't do or what I have not done aggressively in the past. Alright? So as your grand upline, I'm advising you, monkey see, monkey do is not a funny statement. It's a philosophy of network marketing that sometimes I don't even have to talk. And people already do what I want them to do just by them observing me. My work ethic, my energy, my passion, my commitment, my dedication to my downlines. You can teach so much just by showing people and them observing you. Monkey see, monkey do. So leadership is only by example. Being a great upline requires you to do for your downlines what you expect from your uplines. Ah, this is now very confusing. Zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom. Are you okay? Some of you are like huh? Right? It's very simple. To be a great upline, you have to do for your downlines what you expect from your uplines. So don't be surprised. Everything you are complaining about your upline, possibly all your downlines are complaining about you. Alright? Because it's all duplication. Bad things get duplicated also. Now my philosophy of being an upline, Datu Sri Vijay taught me when I was a young boy. I'm still young now, but I was younger some time ago. He taught me and said padman, just remember this. You may see them as a downline, you may see them as bv. You may see them as a network partner. But the fundamental aspect of network marketing is that your downlines, all of them, thousands, hundreds or two, have taken their hopes and dreams which they never had before, which you ignited in their hearts and minds. And you have taken their hopes and dreams and they have put it in your hand and said bro or sister, I trust you now take me to financial freedom now. This is a huge responsibility guys. Somebody asked me why I can't sleep. I never sleep. I never sleep. I'm awake. I'm awake at 6:37 in the morning communicating with everyone around the world. I'm so concerned. Even Revecon is happening in Dubai. I'm in Malaysia. I'm in touch with everyone in Dubai every half an hour. Because I know that there's 9 million over hopes and dreams in my hands, alright? And Dato Sri told me to look after these hopes and dreams, to be a responsible upline, to be a good upline, to be an upline who does his duties from his heart, not only with his hands and brain. So the roles and responsibilities of an upline is a serious, serious matter. The amount of information you have to provide to people managing your downlines when they are going through tough times or challenges or negativity, you understand being there for them, all right? Listening to their problems at 12 o' clock at night or one in the morning, okay? Answering your phone, all right? Being available on all levels of communication From SMS to WhatsApp to BBM to phone calls is already a huge task and responsibility. Trust me, I know. I communicate with hundreds of people every week. Being there for them sincerely is a fundamental aspect of being a great upline. Just remember this guys, there are thousands of people in your downlines who had normal lives. Then somebody showed them a presentation and they got excited and they started to believe. And then they became an IR of qnet and now they heard videos of this good looking Malaysian guy somewhere. Talked about dreams and financial freedom and never give up and never, never, never switch off and presentation Rule three, eight basic building blocks. Wake up and smell the coffee or chai and it ignited a fire in them. That they believe that they're going to change their lives. That they believe that they're going to achieve financial freedom. Now you are responsible for this and you cannot wash away this responsibility that you got to work hard, sleep less, pay a bigger price because you want to be recognized as a good upline, as a great upline like Datu Sri, Vijay Ishwan and Joseph Bismarck. My uplines and bottom line, you must take this duties seriously. Now all of you have downlines locally and internationally. Then sometimes you got to get on a plane and go to your international market or Skype with them every week and provide them information at your fingertips. Because information is king in network marketing. And you got to make sure that everyone in your network, all the way to the last guy, gets the information, alright?
