A motivational video by Hattaiwat Pusanti (Chief) recorded in Bangkok delivering guidance to network marketers—particularly QNET distributors—about why recruits drop out and how to retain them. He lists specific causes (mismatched expectations after sign-up, unpreparedness for negative online content, lack of early earnings, mechanical/robotic organizations lacking heart, low event attendance, and competition from new ‘mosquito’ companies) and prescribes remedies (align presentations with reality, prepare recruits for negative information, prioritize quick weekly earnings, foster relational/ family culture, push attendance at major events like VCon, and strengthen ties to QNET).

Sawadee Kap, as we say in beautiful city of Bangkok, Thailand. This is your chief, as gorgeous as usual sitting here in the beautiful Thai office recording my Wednesday message and displaying some beautiful timepieces from Simier and Bernard H. Meier. Alright? The Thai employees always take advantage and try to put some products in front of me, okay? And I'm wearing the victor. If you guys don't own this watch, which is a 3000BV watch, you should go to the tallest building in your city, to the top roof and play the song I believe I can fly. Because everyone needs to own the victor. M I actually like the drift. Also amazing watches. Okay, now I've been thinking a lot and I've been spending some time here in Thailand with one of our top leaders from India, o'. Neill. Alright? And we've been chatting about everything and I wanted to make a very important Wednesday message of the greatest challenge most of you face on a day to day basis. And this is a lesson I learned from Dato Sri Vijay when I sat with him like maybe 18 years, 17 years ago and complained the same thing. Why do people drop out of your organization? Now network marketing is a huge industry, all right? It's over US$200 billion a year today all over the world. And you'll be proud to know that qnet is one of the strongest, fastest growing network marketing companies in the industry today. And still people drop out. Now, people sign up for various reasons, okay? Firstly, you sign up your hot zone, your warm zone, your cold zone, all right? You do the presentation. You ask them about their dreams, what they want to achieve, why they want to join network marketing and you convince them by doing whatever you can to get them to sign up. Now a lot of people believe that once you sign up somebody, alright, your job is done. I got a sign up, I got the bv and you qualified for your check or your target for that week. But what you fail to understand, signing up somebody, alright? And I know this statement may upset some of you who have been rejected a lot. Signing up somebody is the easiest thing to do in network marketing, alright? A monkey in a coma can sign up people if you just do presentation, presentation, presentation, have passion, be driven by a dream. You can sign up anyone and everyone, all right? But that's just the beginning. Now after signing up, you have realized this, that a lot of people drop out. That means they switch off, all right? And they leave network marketing. They may join other companies, they may never. They might be reactivated in qnet after a few months, okay? But I am going to tell you why people drop out, number one. All right? Reason why people drop out very fast. These are called the express dropouts because when they started network marketing they realized that their whole experience is completely the opposite of what you told them in the presentation. You told them in the presentation a lot of things. I'm sure you painted the most beautiful Van Gogh painting, alright? The most beautiful picture. Join, just find two. We will help you make money. Blah blah, blah, blah, blah blah blah. And after they sign up, alright, they are neglected, left alone and they went to their hot zone without your support or training and everyone said no and said it's a scam, don't sign up, alright? Are you crazy? Why did you sign up and boom, drop out, alright? Immediately they switch off because what you said in your presentation and the reality of the beginning of their journey is two North Pole, south pole, two ends of the rainbow, completely different. Why? Because after signing up the person, you did not engage the person, you did not train the person enough, you did not plug the person into the system fast enough to prepare the person for the possibilities of experience that he's going to experience in the first few days of network marketing. Therefore, that person is going to switch off because he hears too much negativity and he's not prepared for that negativity. His mindset is not ready for going out to the world and building his organization, alright? So that's the first reason why people drop out. Because why what you said in your presentation and the reality of his first few days of networking, all right, was completely different. Second, all right, reason why people drop out because you did not prepare him for the information he's going to acquire on Google. Now you know Google, alright? Google is a search engine which will pick up anything from anywhere on the planet, alright? And like every network marketing or business company in the world, there's good news and there's bad news, alright? We cannot control the newspapers, we cannot control the bloggers, we cannot control your phone while you're making the Wednesday message, all right? But you got just unlimited amount of news and QNET is a great company. We are 18 years. But for some reason when you Google, there could be bad news, correct? But there's also good news. But if you don't prepare the new sign up, if you don't prepare your downlines mentally for what they're going to find online, they're going to panic and a panicked downline will also switch off. So you are in a constant battle of holding the person, all right? And preventing Google from making him switch off, preventing his relatives from making him switch off, preventing the world from making him switch off. Now, how do you hold that guy? You can't hold his hand and say, follow me everywhere I go after you sign up, because then you'll have 2,000 people coming to your house and sleeping with you. Not literally, but I mean staying with you, you understand? So the best way is to prepare them, to give them enough information and prepare them for what they're going to see online or what they're going to hear from people, all right? I tell people, listen, after the presentation, the guy signs up, buys a Victor watch, all right? I said fantastic, by the way. All right, I know you're going to Google us, so let me tell you what you're going to find on Google. Excuse me, what do you mean? What's wrong with the company? Nothing wrong with the company. And then I overload him with positive information. Manchester City sponsorship, Martina Hingiz. The fact that we have offices in 40 countries around the world. The. The fact that we are members of the Direct Selling association, all right, the fact that Dato Sri Vijay, our founder, speaks at World Economic Forum in Davos, all right? The fact that we have been around for 18 freaking years and we are still rocking today. So there's bound to be some bad news, but this is all the good news. So he's already prepared mentally, so he doesn't have a shock when he Googles, do you understand? He doesn't get a shock. You don't want to shock your downlines, you know, because when you shock your downlines, they switch off and die, do you understand? So you must constantly prepare them for that, all right? So first make sure the expectation of the journey and your presentation is aligned, all right? Next, prepare them for whatever possible bad news or negative crap that is written by morons out there on Google, all right? Or any search engine they use by overloading them with positive information. I rather tell the person the truth from the beginning or later he finds out and then claims for a refund. Or come to my house and make noise. Are you guys with me? This happens every day in network marketing. Fundamentally important because we got enough good news, we got enough credibility to outshine any stupid bad news there is out there, alright? This is the reality of our industry, sad to say, the third reason why people drop out is simply because they don't make money. This is the fundamental reason why people drop out. Because when we do our presentation, we paint the picture of financial freedom. Max out power of the dream you know, you ignite so much passion in your prospect that your prospect believes that, oh my God, finally I found the answers to all my problems, alright? And then he starts networking and he realizes that, shit, I'm not making money. He expecting to make 20,000 US in the first week. You understand? His dream is so big, right? So a lot of downlines switch off because they don't make money. And that comes back to your fault. Because you don't focus enough on helping them make money. You don't focus enough on the message of weekly checks. You don't focus enough on pushing them to earn every week, all right? You are just focused on signing them up but not carrying them, not guiding them to make sure they earn money. And the key to earning money is to make sure they earn money fast. All right? I want people to earn their check in the first 48 hours. I want people to earn weekly checks from the second week of joining the business, alright? Because when downlines earn money, when downlines earn money, they will never switch off. Because only morons switch off when they're earning money. Do you understand? So the key to prevent people from dropping out of your organization is to make sure that your system, your mantra, your message of network marketing is back for them to earn money earning weekly checks. People who earn weekly checks never, never, never switch off. So if I sign up under you, Patman Senati Raja, as your downline, I know you're smiling, alright? I want to see cheques. If I don't see cheques asap, I'm going to switch off. Because it's human nature. Humans want results. Humans don't want you to talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk. They want to see results. The faster I see results, the higher my belief level, the higher my belief level. I will never switch off or drop out of your organization. So this is my mantra this year. Weekly checks. Weekly checks. Weekly checks. All right, next reason why people drop out because they feel that this business has become too mechanical. All right, now this, you must listen very carefully. What is mechanical? Mechanical means like a robot, you understand? When the whole organization becomes too robotic, there's no more heart, there's no more emotion, all right? There's no more relationship, there's no more love. People will drop out because when people feel that they are robots in your army of robots, all right, they will feel neglected, they will feel irrelevant. And the most important thing for a human being over downline is to feel that you care and that you love them. And I've had people drop out even in my organization and I've learned the hard way. And thanks to Dato Sri Vijay guiding me all these years, I realized that ultimately your downlines will stay because of you. Your downlines will continue to build this organization, not because of everything we say, but because of their relationship with you. That you have to understand, to prevent people from dropping out, they must feel genuinely that they belong to a family, that the uplines care alright, that you can push them and hammer them and make sure they qualify for cheques and get the BV's, but as long as you do it from their heart, from your heart, people will stay with you. They will not switch off, they will not drop out. So the fundamental question you have to ask yourself, is your organization too mechanical? Is your organization too robotic? Have you lost that loving feeling? Have you lost that concept of family? Are you not showing enough care to your downlines? This is fundamentally important that people feel that they belong to a family. I am here after 18 years, loyal to the founders, because every day I wake up, I feel not like I only have uplines, but I have two older brothers who have always been there for me, who always watched over me, who always guided me every step of the way. And until today, after 18 years, I know that I belong to their family. And that creates a sense of joy in me and creates a level of loyalty in me towards them. So don't allow your organization to become too mechanical, too robotic. A lot of you have stopped talking about dreams, you've stopped talking about family. And that is one of the main reasons why a lot of people drop out. Okay? Now the next reason why a lot of people drop out is because they don't attend events. You don't promote your events aggressively enough. You don't promote VCon, ISB, RevCon. Okay? Now we have this year V leadership camps. Because human beings like a sense of power, of association. So if the person is isolated, not coming to an event, not seeing the bigger picture, not feeling that passion and energy of the V in their lives, not seeing these great ones, the founders, the V partners on stage and being part of this festival and magic of Vcon, they will drop out because they don't want another job. They don't want to just wake up in the morning presentation, come back home, wake up in the morning, present as you and come back home. Their energy levels will drop, all right? Their motivation levels will drop. They are like a Nokia phone. Yes, I still use a Nokia. I'm loyal, all right? They are like a Nokia phone. Your battery gets weak and when the battery gets weak in your downlines, they will switch off and drop out. Because network marketing is about motivation. It's about inspiration. It's about feeling good to go out and do a presentation. They cannot hate doing a presentation. They cannot dislike being your downline or networker. They gotta love it, all right? But their battery gets weak. It's normal. So I realize a lot of people lose their downlines when their batteries are weak and you don't have a platform to recharge the battery. So you got to make sure that you constantly push your downlines and into the system of your organization and most importantly, push them into the system of the v. All right? VCon, ISB, NSS, VLC, all right? RevCon, whatever that happens, your people should be there because that's the ultimate charger. Do you understand? When you come to VCon, your battery is full, all right? For the next one year, guaranteed, you will be the best lithium ion networker the world has ever seen. You understand? All right? You are like super great lithium ion, all right? When you come to Vcon, we charge you full, all right? And it will last you one year. You understand? So the importance of power, of association, the importance for your downlines to see the bigger picture, experience the grandeur of, of belonging to this organization called the V, is fundamentally important to prevent people from dropping out. So a lot of your downlines who dropped out, there is no particular reason. When you talk to them, they just tell you, you know, I tried too long, I'm tired, I want to go back home, I take a break. You know why? Your battery is weak and you are incapable of charging it. They need mother of all charges called VCon. Do you understand? This is fundamentally important, alright? Now, the final reason why people drop out, okay, or leave you or leave your organization is this concept called mosquito companies. Now, wherever you are, whichever country you are building, all right, there's going to be new network marketing companies forming around us. Why? Because they follow us. All these new network marketing companies say one thing. We are like qnet, but we are better. You understand? That's total compliment to cune that we have now become a benchmark for other companies to follow. But these other companies try to lure your downlines by making all kinds of very interesting statements. Better payout, better product. All that is bullshit. There is no better company than qnet. Do you understand? There cannot be a better company than qnet. I am telling you this as a fact, all right? But your downlines who are not so close to the system, not so close to you will easily switch off and get attracted to the mosquito companies. And how do you prevent this? You prevent this by strengthening your hold on your organization, alright? And the best way to prevent people from jumping to a mosquito company is to make sure they see success in Cune. To make sure they see checks in qnet. To make sure they feel loved in qnet. To make sure they are part of power of association in qnet. Make sure they come to vcon and make sure, all right? Their dreams become a reality with qnet. So there's no need for them to go, all right? And the most important thing, when a mosquito company comes, all you have to do is that no company on the planet has what we have, our credibility, our 18 years of experience and especially our founders, Dato CVJ and Jabaras Bismarck. They don't have it. So you must always protect your organization from mosquito companies, all right? And you must know when the mosquito company is coming and when the mosquito company is trying to grow in that country. You must intensify your power of association, your system, your communication, your hug over your whole organization must be tighter when the mosquito companies are flying around. Are you guys with me? So remember these guys, people will drop out, alright? That's their choice. Your duty as an upline, your duty as a networker is to make sure they don't, alright? Firstly by making sure that the first few days of journey of network marketing, all right? Is very aligned to your presentation so expectation is met, alright? Making sure that you prepare them mentally for what they're going to find out in Google and all of this stuff, all right? By overloading them with the positive image, the credibility that we have built over 18 years, all right? Making sure that they earn checks as fast as possible, then their belief goes up. This is fundamentally important, all right? I cannot reaffirm this enough. Checks, checks, checks, checks, checks, checks, checks, commissions, commissions, commissions. Making sure that they earn as fast as possible and they earn weekly. They will never switch off and drop out, all right? And then don't allow your organization to be mechanical, all right? Feel the love, alright? Feel the love. Let them feel who you truly are. Then loyalty will be forever. Trust me. And then make sure their batteries are charged at VCon, alright? Constantly let them see that bigger picture. Make sure they interact with the V, communicate with their uplines. Watch all the videos like the Wednesday video and all the videos on VTube Plus. This is fundamentally important and protect your organization stronger. Protect them during the times when mosquito companies are flying around you. Are you guys with me, alright? This is fundamentally important, alright? And this message is going to make your organization stronger and prevent people from dropping out. This is the most important message I can convey to you. So I love you guys, all right? I love these watches. And I want to see you at VCon Malaysia2016.
