A motivational YouTube monologue by Hattaiwat Pusanti (Pacman Sinatiraja) arguing that making a major decision—such as becoming an entrepreneur—is only the start; the real task is to keep that decision alive until financial independence. He presents a theory that decisions are "born" and can "die" prematurely and gives five practical strategies to protect and sustain decisions: choose supportive associations, continually nourish the decision by recalling purpose and rewards, maintain daily consistent actions, publicly affirm the commitment, and remember those who will benefit from your persistence. The talk is grounded in his 23 years in network marketing and repeatedly urges listeners not to let decisions die early.

The last episode I spoke about the importance of making entrepreneurship a big decision in your journey of life. And not just a small decision. I have come to realize one of my key learnings in my 23 year journey of being an entrepreneur in the industry of network marketing is that making a big decision is a major step. And don't get me wrong, it requires a lot of determination. You need to make that decision from your heart and stick to it. But I realized that ultimately a decision is made that's only the beginning of a journey. And if you have made that decision to become an entrepreneur, ultimately your total journey, until the point you reach some level of financial independence, is to keep that decision alive. Now here's my theory again. Okay? This is my theory, guys. Love it, hate it, doesn't matter. I'm just sharing. Decisions, all right? Are born when you make it. And decisions die eventually. Decisions die now, ultimately, a decision should only die when you have achieved your goal, all right, of financial freedom, financial independence. That's a decision. Dying of old age, dying in glory, will always be remembered as one of the greatest decisions you have ever made. However, in everyone's life, all decisions die too young. Premature death happens to our decisions every single freaking day. Now think about it. How many times have you decided to quit something to start a diet to all right to do any kind of discipline in your life and it dies after a day or two days, one week, Two weeks. So all decisions die eventually. But the mistake a lot of people make is they allow their decisions to die too soon, which means they quit. They quit the journey that they decided they were going to continue no matter what. And never, never, never, never give up, baby. And a lot of people die. Now why do decisions die early? This is something you have to understand firstly. All right? When you make a big decision in life, high possibility that everyone around you are not going to be completely happy that you make that big decision because it's going to make them feel like losers because they didn't make a big decision like you did. So the first problem, why decisions die early is because it is actually murdered, guys. All right? It's murdered by the negativity of the people around you. So don't be surprised. You walk up to anyone right now and say, I want to be financially free one day and they will hate you for it because you are saying something which they don't like hearing. You're saying something that makes them uncomfortable. And they're going to turn around and try to discourage you and steal your dream. And most importantly, they're going to try to kill your decision. All right? So you have to keep your decision alive long enough for you to achieve your goals. And the first thing you need to do and need to understand is the majority of people out there, the they're out to kill your decision. They're out to kill your big decision. Guys, trust me, I've been through this. Even people close to you may want to kill your decision. Complete strangers, even sometimes family wants to kill your decision. Well, that's life. So the first rule you have to do is to protect that decision that you have made. Now how do you protect a decision you have made? It's a rule I practice called power of association. Which means, for example, let me give you a very practical example. You want to go on a diet and you want to lose 10 kilos. Now you have a choice. You hang around with the people who are not on any diet, who eat everything under the sun in front of you, or you chill out with a group of people who are also on a diet. Alright, who's going to inspire you to keep that decision alive, motivate, support you all throughout your journey? Which would you choose? You will choose this group of people. All right? So power of association has the ability to protect your decision. That means once you decide to become an entrepreneur, once you decide to make sacrifices in your life for your journey of entrepreneurship, for your dreams to become a reality, then hang around people who are preferably on the same journey, or at least with the same mindset. That means these are people who believe in entrepreneurship, believe that you should make a big decision to move on in life, blah, blah, blah, you understand? So power of association is going to protect your decision and therefore associate yourself with the right people, the like minded people, stay close to them. Because when you have large numbers of people like this, you can protect your decision from the murderers who are out there to kill it. You understand? And therefore your decision has a longer lifespan. All right, Then secondly, you have to keep your decision healthy. A decision is like a human. An unhealthy human is going to die young. An unhealthy decision is also going to die young. How do you keep your decision healthy? You need to feed your decision, nourish your decision, look after it by remembering your purpose. Your dream, your reason. Why are you doing this? Everything, guys, all right? Nourish your decision, okay? If you feel that your decision is going to die, but your dream is to buy a dream car, go see the car, touch the car in the showroom, sit in the car, spend time with the car, and your decision will be nourished again. And strengthen the immunity of your decision will be strengthened so the financial coronavirus and the negativity viruses won't kill it. As simple as that, all right? So keep your decision well maintained, well nourished, fed every day with the power of your dreams. So, first, power of association. Keep your decision nourished, all right? The third, okay? When you make a decision, you need to understand that it doesn't require genius, it doesn't require skill. Like I said before, it's 99% attitude. You just need to be consistent. Decisions die when you stop, alright? Like going to a gym. You said, I decide, I'm going to go to the gym every day, 30 minutes, all right? And that decision is alive. And you go every 30 minutes and work out like me, you understand? But if you stop for one week, all right, or stop for two weeks, it's almost impossible to get restarted again. So consistency of activity will keep your decision alive. So if you are an entrepreneur, make sure you're doing your business every single day. Keeping it alive keeps your decision alive. Because the decision is related directly to an activity and activity stops, decision dies. Are you guys with me? All right, the fourth point, all right, so consistency, very important. The fourth point is talk about this decision loudly and proudly. Hey guys, I am an entrepreneur and I started my journey with the greatest industry in the world. Network marketing, baby. Shout it from the rooftops, from the mountaintops. Because the more you convey the strength of your decision, the passion of your decision, your determination of your decision, for some reason, the universe supports you. You understand? It's all about vibrations and energy and aura and all those kinds of stuff, all right? So reaffirm your decision publicly to everyone and anyone around the world. Loudly. Guys, don't shy away, don't keep it a secret. Because this is a decision that you have committed to. A decision that's going to change your life, Guys, all right? This is fundamentally important, okay? And finally, guys, all right? A decision needs to be kept alive for the people that depend on it. Now remember this. You have to remind yourself that your consistency of decision, the decision being alive for the next 10, 15 years. On your journey of entrepreneurship, think of all the people who are going to benefit from Your decision, your family, your kids, your parents, your relatives, your community, your friends, your husband or wife, everyone is going to benefit. You keep the people fresh in your mind. Keep the people in your heart. Because sometimes we give up and we allow our decision to die if it only impacts us, right? You don't care. So what? I want to quit, okay? Because I'm okay with my life being a nobody, right? And a lot of people who give up, they give up on themselves. And I realize it's easier to give up on yourself. It's harder to give up on people that depend on you. That I worked hard and kept my decision alive for 23 years because of my love for my mother, God bless her soul, the promises I made to her, my family, my business partners, my community, my mentors, my teachers. So to keep a decision alive, you need to know who you're doing it for. And you constantly have to remind yourself. So remember these guys. Making a big decision is only the first step. The rest of your journey as an entrepreneur is to keep that decision alive, not allow outsiders to kill it. And most importantly, you shouldn't allow it to die under your care. A decision that is kept alive and kicking consistently will get you where you want to be. Financial freedom, your dreams becoming a reality, I promise you. So if you have made it a big decision to become an entrepreneur, especially in the industry of network marketing, now do whatever it takes to keep your decision alive. Love you guys.
