In this video, Paula Rizzo announces the launch of her weekly LinkedIn newsletter, "Produce with Paula Rizzo," which will be published every Wednesday at 10:00 AM ET. The newsletter will cover topics such as productivity, list‑making, media, video, writing, speaking, and other areas drawn from Paula’s experience as a television news producer, media trainer, author, and speaker. She explains the inspiration behind the newsletter’s name, emphasizing the need to stop over‑thinking and just start producing content. Paula also reveals an upcoming LinkedIn Learning course releasing on July 1, focused on setting up a remote office for optimal productivity—a course she and her husband produced themselves due to COVID‑19 restrictions. She references her two recent books, Listful Living and Listful Thinking, and directs viewers to her websites (listproducer.com and paularizzo.com) for more resources. The first newsletter issue shares a personal‑productivity‑style hack from her newest book. Paula invites the audience to subscribe, provide feedback, and ask questions about productivity, video creation, media pitching, and book marketing.

Hey there, everybody. Paula Rizzo here, and I wanted to just say hello on this lovely Wednesday because I have some really exciting news and I'm thrilled to share it with all of you. Um, I have a brand new newsletter on LinkedIn that I'm thrilled to share with you because, um, it is something that I've been working on behind the scenes for quite a while, and not everyone has access to create a newsletter. So I feel very fortunate and excited to be able to share what I know about productivity and list making and media and video and being an author and being a speaker and all the things that I do with all of you. So this is another great way to connect, and I'm thrilled to be able to bring that information to you. So the deal is that it is called Produce with Paula Rizzo, and you will be able to get it straight here on LinkedIn. If you connect with me on LinkedIn, you can subscribe, and they'll also send you an email if you'd like. You don't have to get more email, but that is how you subscribe. And the idea is that it'll come into your life on LinkedIn every Wednesday at 10:00 AM Eastern. I want to be consistent about it. So every week there will be a new newsletter and it will cover one of the topics, uh, that I mentioned, whether it be writing or productivity or media or video or whatever it is that's going on, um, in those worlds. Because many of you know my background is as a television producer and I spent my entire career in TV news and now I'm a media trainer and author. And one of the things that I learned very early on was that if you are productive in a newsroom, you are going to be successful. And the way that you do that is to really have shortcuts and you're able to think on your feet and meet deadlines fast. And all of those things have contributed to what I have been able to do in my life outside of TV. So to be able to create courses and books, my two books that recently came out, Listful Living and Listful Thinking, all of that is driven by production, producing, getting things out into the world. And so that's what I want to help you to be able to do, whether that be, you know, being less stressed out and getting more things done, or that means, you know, pitching media. Maybe that's something that you want to do, producing your own videos, producing your own, you know, online courses, anything like that. And I have to tell you, I really was thinking through, overthinking what the name of this newsletter was going to be. And I really felt like this is what happens with some of my clients who try to brand things for themselves and they overthink it. And they're like, "Oh, what if I name it this and people won't understand it? And what do I really think?" You know what? At the end of the day, you got to just get started. That's what I have been— one of the biggest lessons I ever got in TV was because those deadlines are so fast, you got to just jump in. And so I had to stop myself from overthinking. And that is why I named the newsletter Produce with Paula Rizzo, because it's going to be talking about all of those things— productivity, media, video, writing, speaking, all of that stuff. And I have another very, very exciting announcement as far as LinkedIn goes. I have a new course that's coming out on July 1st. And it is a LinkedIn Learning course that you can access through LinkedIn. And it's coming out July 1st, and I'm thrilled. I, you know, if you follow me, you've probably seen behind the scenes that I was producing it myself. I was supposed to be in their studios in LA to have their team record it for me, but because of COVID-19, my husband and I were our own crew and camera people and prompter operators and all of that. So we created the course along with the help of the wonderful team at LinkedIn. Uh, who was remote in LA. We were able to create the course, but that's coming out on, um, July 1st. And the, the topic for that one is all about how to set up your remote office for optimal productivity. Uh, you know, people are working from home all over the place now. It's the new norm. But for me, I've been doing this for the past 4 years basically. Um, I've set up, you know, my own company, my own business, and I have been using Zoom and video and all of this stuff for a very, very long time. Uh, and all the productivity tips and tricks that I've learned through the years, I'm sharing in this course. So that course on LinkedIn Learning will be coming out July 1st, and I'm excited to bring that to you. Uh, you know, and if you have any questions or things that pop up as far as productivity or list-making, or, you know, how do you create really great compelling videos, or how do you feel more comfortable on camera, or how do you pitch media, any of the things that I have been talking about, how do you create a book that people want to read? How do you market your book? I write about a lot of these things on my websites, on listproducer.com for productivity and paularizzo.com. And I'm thrilled to be able to now get this newsletter to you every week, every Wednesday, and it'll be part of our week. So I want to make sure that I produce content that you're interested in and that you like. So please subscribe to the newsletter here and you will get instant access to it. The first one went out today and it is all about a little tip and trick that I, that I talk about in my book Listful Living, my newest book. And it's all about using your own personal productivity style to get more done. And it is a hack that I have used for years. And everybody has a productivity style. It's just that everyone ignores it and everyone thinks that, oh, I should be more productive in the morning because that's what people tell you to do. Not the case, my friends. So you will learn all about that in the newsletter. So again, it is going to be coming out every Wednesday at 10:00 AM, and I really hope that you subscribe and please give me some feedback. Let me know what you think, and if there are ideas and tips and tricks and things that I can help you with, please don't be shy. And I'm looking forward to sharing more with you. So thanks.
