Hi, it's Paula Rizzo from ListProducer.com. Distractions are the worst. I know, I know, I know. It will take your productivity from here to here in like no time. So I have a little trick for you to make sure that you stay productive throughout the day, and that is always, always, always make an appointment with someone to have a phone conversation. And by that I mean I never pick up the phone unless I know who it is and I'm scheduled to talk to that person. I know it's mean and rude, but the second you pick up that phone, you're completely derailed, right? You were in the middle of doing something else and now you're talking to this person who you may be working on a project with and may be very important, but it's going to send you off your plan for the day, right? And so you're going to be doing things that you weren't intending on doing right then, right? Maybe you hang up the phone and then it's like, oh, let me just write out that one email, or let me just put this into a little, you know, plan and send it over or whatever. And the thing that you were working on before is now, you know, 10 steps behind. So instead, I always have people make appointments. Always. And so if the phone rings and you don't have an appointment, I'm not answering it. Try it. It'll help you through the day, I promise.
