Rabbi Shlomo Lapin teaches that God rewards people financially when they serve others well. Many Christians wrongly think earning money is sinful and should go to the church instead. Lapin argues wealth is a sign of divine favor, not something to feel guilty about.
Chapters
Rabbi Lapin sums it up. Why does it surprise us when a good and loving God rewards you financially for making his children's life better? You know, I went to a seminar. I've read all his books. He wrote a book called Thou Shall Prosper. I've been to all his seminars when he's in Dallas. I've had him come to my office. We've had dinner together at kosher restaurants. And I try to glean everything I can because I've never been around that kind of thinking regarding money. And he had a meeting one time, he didn't know I was there, and he goes to Christian churches. That's what his main occupation is, to tell the Christian people it's okay to make and have money because most of them are not giving any money to the church.
