In this tutorial, the speaker walks through building an evergreen engagement campaign in Meta (Facebook) Ads Manager that continuously boosts selected organic posts. The video explains why engagement ads are valuable for generating likes, comments, and shares, and how each interaction expands a warm audience for retargeting. Step‑by‑step, the presenter shows how to create a new campaign with the Engagement objective, enable Advantage+ campaign budget (e.g., £10/day) and Advantage+ audience/placements, and feed the AI with custom audiences such as Instagram/Facebook engagers and website visitors (via pixel). The tutorial then demonstrates selecting existing organic content—feed posts, stories, or reels—from connected pages, adding optional creative tweaks, a call‑to‑action button, and URL tracking. It covers ad‑set limits (≈100 ads per set), managing a small rotating set of live ads (4‑5 at a time) to stay within budget, and the process for publishing new boosted posts while turning off older ones. The speaker emphasizes using Advantage+ features for AI‑driven optimization and encourages testing different post formats. The walkthrough ends with a quick recap of how to add more posts to the campaign and a reminder to keep the ad count manageable.

So at this time it's not possible to run engagement ads through maybe AI Ads Manager. Engagement advertising is optimized for likes, comments and shares and is especially useful for helping you, your feeds look really engaged and for building audiences. Every like is someone entering your warm sphere and available for retargeting. So I wanted to show you how to create a really simple engagement campaign in your ads manager into which you can just keep boosting all your organic posts that you feel you want to put some spend behind. So we've got a similar campaign running right here. So if I just walk you through how it looks here at the ad set level, I've just set an audience which is basically referencing the custom audiences of people who engaged on the Instagram and Facebook pages and asked Facebook to extrapolate out and find more people like that. So if I just toggle on to the live ad set here and I'll show you how we've got all these ads here so you can just. I think there's a limit of something like I think maybe 100 ads to each ad set. So there's plenty of scope for you to just to keep bringing in your favorite posts on the feed into this campaign. So you can see that I've just got four running at this time, but that's because the budget is relatively small. So I would just keep toggling off the old ones and bringing in the new ones and just keep it to about four or five that you've got live in if you have a similar kind of budget. I'll just walk you through how to create this for yourself. Click on Create and actually let's get back into the campaign level. Let's click on create here and we're going to choose the engagement objective. Click Continue. I'm going to choose the manual setup to walk you through. And we've got the familiar windows here where we've got our hierarchy setting up the campaign across the side and across the top. And we just want to give this a name Evergreen Engagement Campaign. And then we can scroll past the special ad category, although if any of these apply to your business, then you may need to declare. And I'm going to toggle on the advantage campaign budget here and set it at. I'm going to set it at £10 a day, but you could set it to, you know, whatever is the right amount for your business, but it's going to keep running on a daily budget. So it's just sort of ongoing in the background. I'm not going to increase my budget for specific times, I'm just going to click next. And then this is where we set our aud. So it does ask you your conversion location. So you want that to be on the ad so that we, you know, get that engagement onto the ad and it'll be visible on your feed. I'm going to switch from video fused to post engagement. Leave it on maximum engagement with a post and then I don't need to set the budget because we set it at the campaign level. I'm going to keep it broad to the United Kingdom, but you could edit it here and sort of focus the spend around a particular area or different country if you wish. And then I'm going to run with this Advantage plus audience option here. So wherever you see Advantage plus mentioned within Facebook Ads Manager, it's referring to opportunities for you to hand over the reins to Facebook so to use its AI and to give that control. So it is amazingly good. So more often than not, running with the Advantage plus options is a good thing to do. It's really a case of trial for yourself. So let's just jump in here and it asks you to feed it some custom audiences. So these are people who know you already. I'm going to lift our AI ads, engages Instagram and the Facebook one. So these are audiences that are created for you when you connect up to the maybe platform. I've also got an existing audience in there that I can pull in, which is just the website visitors. So that obviously requires you to have a pixel on your website, but then you can bring that up in as a custom audience as well. So I'm going to leave it just at that. But you can actually load up loads. So if you've got lots of custom audiences, then just fire them all in and that will feed the Advantage plus AI. So I'm going to just leave that nice and broad. I'm going to keep it on Advantage plus placement so that Facebook can choose where to run the ads. And then this is where you bring in your organic post. So let's just call it organic. To get started, make sure you've got your pages connected. And then this is where you want to choose. Use existing post and then down add creative. You choose select post and it'll take you into this window where you can toggle between Facebook or Instagram. Let's choose Instagram. And again, you can actually look at just feed or stories or reels. So you can boost your reels as well. So definitely give that a test. Facebook loves people using the reels, so I'm going to talk back to the feed and I'm just going to scroll over the one that I like. You see how it goes. Great. Subtle, but you can see how it brings in the lead line just so you can double check you've got the right one. Click, continue and then it's going to load in to this window. So it just comes in exactly as it is off the organic feed. I can leave the Advantage plus Creative on. You can edit it if you wish, turn off anything that you're not sure you like. And the other thing you can do is give this ad a button. So let's toggle on, learn more and I'm going to pop in. Oops, that's not the right one. Let's pop in the maybe URL or it might be to a specific blog for example, but for expediency I'm just going to drop that in and you can see how that's loaded up the button over here on your ad. Oops, that's looking a bit weird. There you go. Learn more. Toggle on my website tracking. If you've got your pixel on the website and you're good to go, just give it a publish. So what that will do is close that down and let's go back to the campaign level and search for that campaign. There you go. So every time you want to boost another post, you just jump back into your ads manager. You tick this evergreen campaign, jump across to your ad level and click Create and you can bring in another one. So it'll bring you up this sort of widget. You want to give it an intro name and you just go and do it all over again and just choose a different one and drop that one in as well. I think that's the same one as I used before, but I will just keep going. Change a call to action, learn more. Nope, that's good the way it is. And you'll have oh, I didn't actually mean to discard. Let's close it. And then you'll see that you've got two in your list. And that's how you keep it going. You just literally publish them and then toggle off the ones that you don't want running anymore. Don't have too many, your budget will be stretched too thin. And that's a really quick walk through how to create for yourself an evergreen boosting campaign. Any questions? Don't forget we're on the blue button within the maybe dashboard.
