Who doesn't love colors? Red color, green color, purple color, teal color, all colors. Colors are life. But remember, these colors are good to look at, but you don't have to swallow them or you don't have to use them in your mouthwash or toothpaste or eat your Froot Loops and all those things because these colors add up. Although most of the colors that are being used today are FDA approved, they are grass, which means generally accepted as Safe colors like FDC blue, blue number one, red number 40, or yellow number five are the three major used colors. And then they mix and match them. But what do they do except for aesthetics? If you buy a mouthwash, you look at this, you think it should be blue. Does it affect you while using it? No. Does it harm you? It does have a potential to harm you, and I'll come to that. At Guru Nanda, we decided is we just color the bottles, not the product inside. So you'll never find that we have in a regular mouthwash unless it's necessary to use for disclosing purposes or to show some plaque or for some specific reasons. We never add any colors to any of our products. And we think that this should be the acceptable norm in the general industry not to add colors. Why do you want so much color in everything? Let's see, what are the cons of these colors? What could happen? So, for example, there have been studies of hyperactivity in kids where kids have actually had behavioral changes because of use of blue number one. Then there are allergic reactions with hives, people getting swelling, people getting canker sores with one of the colors. And then there are some carcinogenic risk studies that have been evaluated that over the life of the color usage, the cumulative effect, maybe it is generally regarded as safe today in a small, specific small ratio, maybe it is okay for a month, maybe it is okay for a year, but nobody has actually done a study for 30,000 years or 60,000 years. If you're doing it twice a day and if you're living a normal, average American life, long term study, there are a lot of these studies underway. Has any study really been performed on a full scale? No. Do you need these colors in your life? You got to be the guru of your own wellness and decide and if you are smart enough, I think you wouldn't need them. So next time you're buying a mouthwash or a toothpaste or for that matter, anytime you're buying anything that you're eating or you are giving it to your 4 year old or 2 year old or 3 year old kid that has colors. Do you really need them? Please be the guru of your own wellness. So thank you. And I'm hoping the new administration with RFK Jr. Who is a very big advocate of safety first and he is very into ensuring that unnecessary use of products that are not really needed won't be there. I'm hoping there will be more strict regulations on colors. Everything that I'm saying is my own personal opinion and it is not the opinion. FDA does regard these colors as safe, but long term studies have not been done. Studies over lifetime have not been done.
