Everybody keeps asking me what is Ayurveda? I've been doing the decoding. So let me tell you, what is Ayurveda? Ayurveda is a 5000 plus years old holistic health system based out of India in the Vedas. Vedas means the script from ancient times. Those scripts are based on balancing the body, which means balancing the mind, body and spirit. Because the entire health is not dependent upon just the health of the physical being. Our physical being is one part of your being. Our mind and our soul are the other two parts. So it is very important to live a more holistic life. Because a lot of people, you'll see, they are very big, very buff, but they are very weak in their mental being. Even some of them end up suiciding. And the reason is because they were not mentally healthy. So, so physically healthy means nothing if you're not mentally healthy. Similarly, you have to be healthy in mind, body and spirit and hire all three to be the most balanced, set yourself free from all those illnesses. And that is the basis of Ayurveda. So how do we treat it? We treat it through natural herbs, oils, lifestyle and treatments that are based out of the combination of all. Plus yoga is actually a part of Ayurveda. So this entire treatment is very individualized because Ayurveda thinks that every individual has its own identity, its unique blueprint. Like how all 7, 8 billion people have their unique fingerprint. Similarly, each one has their unique blueprint. Blueprint. Like I personally I am very high vata. And let me explain you, what is vata? And let me explain you, how does Ayurveda decipher that? So what Ayurveda has done is simplified the entire system very simply into five elements. These five elements are air, water, fire, space and earth. Simple five elements. Air, water, fire, space and earth. So a combination of two of them makes up one dosha. Dosha is a humor. Dosha is kind of your individual being. So for example, a personality like me, who's a type personality, who's got a million thoughts a minute, who's always coming out with new ideas but can't stick to one. So I have a lot of air in me and lot of space in me. So what are the qualities of air and what are the qualities of space? Space. So air means something that can flow very easily, flow and fill anything very quickly. And space is openness. So that means I am very adaptable. Simultaneously I can fill up a space very easily. I can literally think very, very, very large. So I can think Simultaneously about a project that normal people may not be able to think, but that's not good good or that's not bad, because every individual has their own reason of being. This is vata, what I just told you. Now, there are other two personalities. And the second personality is pitta. Pitta means a lot of fire and lot of water. So fire is the main primary element. That means these people are very, very focused. They are very determined. If they think about something, they are going to get it. That is their reason of being. So, so they literally make up a plan and they go with all their energy. These things, the doshas, not only determine your personality, they also determine your food habits. They also determine how you respond to certain foods. They also determine how your health is. It is very simple, yet very complex. And it tells you everything you might have heard. If you hear my name, Puneet Nanda, somebody who's Indian, he can tell you, oh, this guy is probably a little lighter. He comes from north of India. He comes from a place called Punjab or Delhi or north India. So similarly, if you hear of somebody called Banerjee, people can say, oh, he's from West Bengal. He's got these, this, this character. He's very creative. So similar to how the last names in India determine the person. Very similar to that. The doshas actually determine the personality, the health and the being of that person in easy way. Now the third dosha is kapha. Kapha dosha means somebody with earth and somebody with water. Earth is the primary thing. That means they are very solid. That means they are very stable. They don't move so easily. So if they are determined on doing something that is it, they will also take the entire family with the stride. They are very family oriented. Unlike vata personality who's moving like air, these people stay put. So ideal combination, if you had to have a statesman personality would be kapha primary and then vata secondary. Because now he can be very stable like a rock, still have the ability to be like air and fly and think about things that normal people don't. Right? So most of the statesmen that you see, I've decoded people like Elon Musk, I've decoded Narendra Modi. I've decoded Trump. A lot of these people that you see have personalities that either are specified to what they are doing. For example, Elon Musk, I think I specified that he was high vata and secondary kapha. Similarly, when it came to Trump, I deciphered he was first kapha, second pitta. So the Moment you look at those decipherations, decoding, you can immediately know what the person's personality is. For example, when I said ilan vata and kapha, that means he thinks like air. He can fill up any space. He can literally think of hundred ideas at a time. I But because he's kapha too, that means he is stable. That is why he's able to run so many businesses. Similarly, Trump, when you look at it, he is kapha. First means his primary dosha is kapha means he is very, very solid. He makes up a plan and he just doesn't move and he gets an entire clan with him. And secondly, he's pitta means he's very fiery. If he's angry, he's angry. If he's focused, he's focused. If he's against you, he's totally against you. So that kind of tells you the personality of a person. Nothing is good or bad, it's just different unique blueprint. Ayurveda is also very preventative. It is not something that you can use in emergency. So let's say if I was in an accident on 4 or 5, what do I want to go do? I want to go to Ayurvedic hospital or Western Cedars and I or somewhere of course Cedars and I because the western medication is very focused on emergency medication because that was developed during war times the most when was antibiotic and all those antiseptics and steroids developed? They were all developed during world wars, during wars going on where people were going to different countries fighting the wars. If you're looking for emergency medication, Western medication. If you're looking for prevention, Ayurveda. Ayurveda is about daily routine diet and healthy habits developing them. Imbalance means illness in Ayurveda. So balancing the doshas means going healthy, bringing health back into your life. So I am going to be explaining Ayurveda in future episodes and I'm going to be actually be educating Ayurveda for beginners one by one, one thing at a time. So watch out for my next episodes. My next episodes would be about explaining why Ayurveda over Western medicine. What is the main reason that you are a particular dosha and how do you decipher it and which personality means which dosha. I'm also going to try to bring together a program where you can determine your own dosha. So watch out, subscribe, share and look at my decoding videos. If you haven't.
