We Tried the Bottomless Drinks at Viva Las Vegas and So Should You

Josh and Rachael Fillbrandt try the bottomless drinks at Viva by Ray Garcia in Las Vegas. The $50 five-margarita flight and bottomless sangria are the real draw, with entrees around $20. They rate the brunch 8/10 for the value on drinks.

Hey everybody, I'm Josh.
And I'm Rachael.
And today we are pairing some of our favorite things: brunch, Mexican food, and margaritas.
We're headed to Viva by Ray Garcia here at Resorts World. Let's go!
All right, welcome to Viva. Uh, we are in a mall. Interesting seating, but at least there's others around us. We were here right at the opening. I'm gonna go ahead and start by showing off the drink menu. So you can see there's a bunch of different tequilas and then some mezcals. They do have sangria, definitely a bunch of margaritas. We're gonna try a few of those, including Rachael just ordered the Viva Flight.
5 of them.
5 of them, $50. We're gonna get our money's worth today because I just did this bottomless sangria, which if you just drink 2 of them, you're already making your money back. So we'll see how many I can get through. And then as far as food goes, we already ordered the chips and salsa, which is bottomless. So the $7, it's kind of a pain in the butt, but it comes— you can keep refilling. And we have people with us.
Yeah, and we're sharing.
You might see them later. They're shy, so try to give encouragement. Over here you can see the guacamole is about $19, but appetizers $7 to $20. They do have salads, $19 to $20. Regular drinks, $6 to $8. Here's your brunch focus, around $20. We're gonna get a few of these things. Whoa, you see the Cadillac fajitas?
I did see the Cadillac fajitas.
It's the only thing that is like way expensive.
It is. I bet it serves more than one person though. I bet it serves 2.
I would hope so. Yeah, it is wagyu. I do see that. So also there's There's some raw fish for $25 to $30, tacos in the $20 to $30. We did see that you can only get— like, didn't we see you can't mix and match?
Yeah, there's 3 per order and I don't think you can mix and match. So, okay, you get 3 of the same taco.
And then there's some sides that are running in the $6 to $15 range, but we're gonna get a wide variety and obviously a bunch of drinks. All right, here is what the chips and salsa looks like. It is a good thing that they refill them because that's a small bowl for 4 people. But there you can see the guacamole. I'm just gonna show this. Hopefully our guests don't mind. Well, they already did it. A little bit chunky, but not bad. I like it. All right, the sangria is mine, but it came out first, so.
It did, and I'm not opposed to trying it.
Oh my.
Oh, that's fancy. That's what I was hoping for.
Hey everybody, future Josh.
And Rachael.
If you've been watching us for the last year or more years, you realize that last year was one of the toughest years for us both mentally and physically. In fact, we came back from our New Year's trip and I was weighing the heaviest I have been ever. And so we decided to take our health back with a balanced diet, exercise, and the sponsor of today's video, Groonze. Groonze are a convenient, comprehensive formula packed into a snack pack a day. This isn't a multivitamin, a greens gummy, or a prebiotic. It's all those things and then some at a fraction of the price, and it tastes great. While generic multivitamins only contain around 7 to 9 vitamins, Groonze has 20+ vitamins and minerals and 60 ingredients, which includes nutrient-dense whole foods. And you get to eat a full snack pack each time because they can't fit that many minerals and vitamins into just one gummy. So we've been using this as almost like a treat because sometimes I'll use this rather than some other kind of food, and it's actually helped me lose 20 pounds. These results may not be typical, but for me, I've loved it. Some of the key reasons why we chose Groon includes its effects on gut health, energy, immunity, recovery, and cognition. So if you're like us and you want to take your health back, check into Groon's. And if you click the link below, you can get 52% off your order or scan the QR code.
Okay, I went with the margarita flight. I have been wanting to try this since Viva opened. Salt Air House Margarita. We love the Salt Air foam. Watermelon, mango, spicy cucumber, and passion fruit. So all 5 different ones, $10 a margarita, which in reality doesn't look much different than the size of the $20 one. So I'm pretty happy with that.
Agreed.
And it comes out very pretty.
All you gotta do is be willing to drink 5 margaritas.
And I mean, I feel I'm pretty good at that. Also, I did take a sip of Josh's sangria. It's light, it's refreshing, it's not heavy at all. He'll love it.
No, it's a strong apricot.
Oh, did you find more apricot in it?
Yeah.
Okay.
But I think it's good. And I mean, I already have a carafe, so I just gotta get at least to a second carafe.
Yeah, a second carafe?
Probably.
Oh, oh my goodness, that's a lot. I mean, I do have 5 margaritas.
We're not filming later today, so we'll be good. Yeah, do you want to try?
Cheers to that. I want to try this salt air one. Cheers. Oh dude, that salt air.
Did you call me dude?
Yeah, I did.
You never call me dude.
So good, dude. That's good. It's salt air, but it's got lime zest on it, so you get a real good flavor of lime on there.
All right.
So good.
All right, the food is here and more drinks have been consumed. I'm doing my way through this sangria.
And I will tell you, my favorites are so far the house margarita with the salt air foam.
Yes.
It's fantastic. And this cucumber jalapeño or spicy cucumber one, it's great.
So good.
The passion fruit and watermelon tastes like juice.
Yep.
Bad. And the mango is really good.
The mango is good, especially with the tajín, so it's got a little bit of sweet heat going on, but What is this one? Tuna tostada?
This is the tuna tostada. And let me tell you, us people who do food reviews are not immune to social media influence. I've seen this on their Instagram page and I had to get it. So I love the salmon pizza over at—
I think it's Yellowtail.
Yellowtail. And I'm hoping this is something similar. This is the tuna tostada.
Yeah, I think we also had a similar one at Morimoto.
And is it Lago or Spago we had that pizza?
Oh, Spago, but that one also had caviar and it was $80.
That's some nice fresh clean crisp tuna. There's a little bit of sauce but it doesn't overtake it, and that tostada is super crispy. Instagram did not fail me.
Nice. All right, and I am, uh, I think I'm on my about 3rd sangria or so.
He did say 2 carafes. I'm not sure he's gonna finish 2 carafes.
Yeah, getting to the second carafe is gonna be some work, but, uh, we're assuming it's about 4 carafes to get to— well, 4 drinks per carafe. I don't think it's 4 carafes. I'm messing up. All right, anyway, we got a Barbacoa Melt. So some cheese, some Thousand Island, some barbacoa. It's like a grilled cheese with meat in it, right?
I would say it's like a burrito taco on a grilled cheese. Is my guess. And then he's got some chicharrones there too and some pickled veggies. It looks like he won't touch those pickled veggies and neither will I, so it's fine.
So I do hope that the crunch just showed up on the microphone because it is nice and crispy. Very good. The barbacoa has got a lot of flavor. It's delicious.
And Josh is a sucker for grilled cheese, you guys. So like, if he's gonna do a grilled cheese— I love the serving sizes. They come out on small plates, but I still think it's enough.
And they call these chicharrón. It's definitely not done in-house, I can say that much.
It's more like a chip. They're like bagged.
Yeah, think of it like a chip. It's got a little bit of spice to it, but not too bad. It's nice and good though.
So when we were looking at the menu for this place, I had told Josh, don't let me order regular tacos. However, the breakfast tacos, look how full those are. I ended up with chorizo. You can get chorizo or bacon. It looks like there's some potatoes, eggs, avocado, and some kind of sauce in there, and plenty of cheese. Also Crispy shell outside but not hard shell.
Yeah.
Wow, filling. They're so full that I was worried about only having 2 tacos. That's not a worry. They're super full. Also comes with an avocado crema and the same salsa we've had for chips and salsa. This is fantastic. I would highly recommend coming here to Viva. Check out their brunch menu because it starts at 11 AM. And it, it's been fantastic.
And look at all these drinks!
And again, 5 margaritas for $50. That's the main reason I wanted to come back.
Yeah.
And I am very happy with this choice.
Okay, we do not have room for dessert, but you can see $12 for churros, panna cotta, tres leches, and then some after-dinner drinks, which I ordered another sangria, but I'm gonna try the red this time. Because I did finish this, and they did say that this is somewhere between 4 and 5 sangrias.
I ended up finishing all 5 of my margaritas, and I think that's the best deal in Vegas right now.
Strong work. Yeah, can I get a hallelujah down below? I don't know how to spell it, so I'm gonna put it up for you. Maybe I don't know how to spell it just because we've been drinking all day.
I mean, like, this is the best thing. I will say my 2 favorites were the house margarita with the salt air foam and the spicy cucumber.
Okay, and also, I didn't add these guys in, but Jordan and Ashton from Show Me Vegas. Um, I'm hoping that they turned up in the camera because I did one of these.
You're—
it is hard to do it that way. I don't know if they're there, but they're right here.
That's what happens when you have a pitcher of sangria for lunch.
There you go. So if you're looking for a party, come to Viva. All right, we just finished our—
Oh, my hair is so staticky.
It looks fantastic. There's Jordan behind us, that ape man. Yeah, uh, there's Ashton. Uh, so Show Me Vegas joined us and I think they enjoyed it. their time at Viva, as did we.
I agree. And I will tell you, we have been trying to find some of the best margaritas on the Strip, and this place may have nailed it.
It's right there.
Yeah, it's right there. So brunch, how—
like, brunch was good.
I would say 8 out of 10 for me.
Yeah, I thought, I thought it was good. And I mean, most of the dishes were around the $20 mark. I think it's a, it's a good price point.
That tuna tostada was my favorite bite.
Agreed. And drink-wise, yeah, I probably had 5 or 6 sangrias, so I definitely got my money's worth for $40.
And the margarita flight, 5 of them for $50, you can't beat it. It was fantastic.
Yeah, do one or the other.
Yep.
Um, because like our friends, they each ordered 2 margaritas and it was $44.
$44.
So get the flight, get the sangria. I think it was good.
But I would say for—
the food was fantastic.
Yeah, for Viva Brunch, I would highly recommend, wouldn't you?
I would agree. Yeah, yeah, we had a good time. Uh, if you're enjoying our videos, don't forget to hit that like and subscribe.
