Hi, I'm Rebecca. Silence Inspired results Coach and I want to give you three reasons why telling the truth in your relationship is critically important. Number one, if we're not telling the truth, you're not actually relating to the other person because we're showing up as fake. That doesn't work. Holding back the truth is inauthentic and fake. Number two, there's a lot of guilt and shame when we're holding back what's real for us from our partner. The whole point is to clear up misunderstandings and have intimate connection connections, not just physical, but emotional as well. And the truth is going to help you have those intimate connections. And the third reason to tell the truth is because, guess what, we all have flaws. And it's important to just be real and open about what's not working in the relationship as well as what is working in the relationship. But if we don't talk about what is and what is not working and tell the truth, then the relationship is not going to evolve, and that's really important. So tell the truth. Enjoy your relationship. You will so much more once you do.
