So what I try to do is get to the root, right? I don't treat symptoms. I want to get to the root of the pattern. Where did it start? What if I heal this, takes care of all that? I want you to consider that your trauma is the rocket fuel to launch your business. If you learn how to make your triggers your bitch. What's in the way of you being an emotionally healed leader? Emotional triggers. And we can't do business without relationships. And we need relationships to trigger us, to show us where we're healed and where we're not yet. If somebody else is dysregulated in fight, flight, freeze, for so many leaders, that impacts them. And now they're dysregulated. How many of you have ever had a leader take their emotional pain out on you? Yeah, right? I mean, we need healed leaders that can be regulated even in the face of other people's dysregulation. We need to counteract all of the separation, all of the division, all of the crazy that keeps people looking for reasons to disconnect instead of connect. I welcome triggers. I want to know my weak spots. And I wanna superproof myself so fast emotionally so that this trigger isn't something life or some person, client, team member, stranger on the internet can stick their finger in and just dig around. Because let me tell you, the people that are happy are committed to happiness. The people that are unhappy are committed to unhappiness. And it won't matter what you do. You won't be able to heal them and make them happy. But they can be around you and be like, shit, What's in his Kool-Aid? So for a lot of us, we make our lives about trying to be who I need to be to regulate them so I can be regulated. And that doesn't work in business, and that's not effective leadership. I'm regulated no matter what, and I'm held and I'm safe and I'm supported, and I'm resting in joy and excitement as the rule I live by, and my heart's wide open. What a concept. Talk about an unfair advantage. Talk about a secret weapon. You able to be emotionally regulated even when, and especially when, someone you love or lead is dysregulated. That is why this is so important to me.
