Rich Bello presents the "Arootah" formula for turning knowledge into results: knowledge must be combined with a repeatable process, technology that simplifies and automates the process, and expert guidance (coaching) to set mission, goals, plans, and accountability. He emphasizes making complex ideas simple (his teams use 10-step/10-principle processes) and that coaches enforce clarity, follow-through, and accountability.

Knowledge is not power. Knowledge is power. Then all the librarians would be the billionaires, they'd be running the world. But they're not. So knowledge doesn't apply itself. So you have to have process. And one of the formulas that we have at ARUTOT is knowledge. And once you have the knowledge, how do you apply the knowledge? That's process. So anytime we have knowledge, I like to come up with some type of process. You'll notice everything is 10 steps for us, 10 principles, 10 steps within everything. So it's a process. To apply that knowledge, you have to make it simple. Take the complex and make it simple. Then what we do at ARUTA is we build technology to make that process easy to apply. And then finally we add expert guidance. So it's knowledge plus process plus technology. Then we add expert guidance. That's the coaching. That's the coach that will come in there, get you really clear on your mission, make sure you're following this process, make sure you're following the formula, get you really clear on your mission, make sure you have goals, make sure you have a plan to achieve the mission and then kick your butt to hold you accountable to achieving your goals.
