Rich Bello presents the "Arootah/Aruta Success Formula," a practical, stepwise method for achieving a happy and fulfilled life. He outlines a loop: create a life mission statement → perform a gap analysis → set goals to close gaps → make plans → prioritize and schedule actions → execute → measure results → revise approach as needed → repeat until the mission is accomplished. He highlights accountability (steps 6–10: prioritization through continued iteration) as a major obstacle and teases tools to help with accountability.

Do you want to know the secret formula for a happy and fulfilled life? Well, after many years of trial and error myself, I believe I have the secret, and I'm going to reveal it to you now. Here's the answer. It's the Aruta success formula. Look, this isn't rocket science. In fact, it's just pure common sense. However, I found that common sense ain't that common. Secondly, each of these components of the formula have their own series of steps, and that's where the secret sauce is located. We're going to take you through some of the key components and in the limited time that we have here, but I encourage you to explore this even deeper for more fulfillment. Remember, effort is correlated with fulfillment. First, you want to create a mission statement for your life. Then you create a gap analysis that you can see where you currently are in your mission and what still needs to be done to accomplish it. Then you'll set a series of goals to close those gaps in your mission. Next, you'll create plans to achieve those goals. Within the plans, you'll have a series of actions that will need to be prioritized. You'll schedule in the prioritized actions and and then execute on your actions. Next, you'll measure the results you're getting to see if you're getting closer to your mission, perhaps you're getting further away. If so, revise your approach to tweak and improve upon any of the previous components to the formula. Finally, keep proceeding with this process until you accomplish your mission one goal at a time. However, one of the biggest obstacles that I've found to accomplishing your mission resides in steps six through 10. That's where being held accountable to the plan resides. We'll talk a little bit about some of the tools that Aruta has to overcome the accountability monster. So a little later.
