This is a YouTube video titled "90% of businesses eventually fail and this is the reason why…" featuring Rich Schefren delivering a monologue about common entrepreneurial mistakes, specifically focusing on the disconnect between an entrepreneur's true self and the version they try to build their business around. The content is motivational and aimed at business owners reflecting on personal growth and business success.
90% of businesses eventually fail. And this is the reason why. This is a mistake that I've seen practically every entrepreneur make. And it's not an external problem. It's you, the entrepreneur you see. You are the problem. It's a hard truth about yourself that you might be avoiding. The problem with most entrepreneurs that I see is that they try to build a business on some mythical version of who they are, a version that is far from who they truly are. They're not clear about their own flaws and what stands in their way. So therefore, when they design their business business, they design their business for their mythical self to be successful. And they can't be successful unless they make a personal change, which means there's a disconnect, and there's always going to be a disconnect between who they need to be to grow their business and who they currently are. If that's you, you're building your business around who you think you need to be. So unless you make that personal change, your business is doomed to fail.
