The elections are coming up, and we all need to be aware of how brainwashed we all really are. You see, whether you're on the left or the right, your beliefs are really shaped by the information bubble that you live in. You know, I was discussing this with a friend of mine recently who's left wing, and he was shocked by Biden's condition during the debate. And, you know, I was surprised and shocked and told him that this is all I've been seeing for years. But that's the point, you see, we're both living in such different information bubbles, and what seems obvious to me is completely hidden from him and also vice versa. But here's the kicker that you might not know. The smarter you are, the more receptive you are to actually propaganda. Why? Three reasons. The first is, is that you take in more information secondhand than from actual experience. The second is, is that you feel the need to have an opinion on all important topics. And the third reason is that you believe you can't be fooled easily. Admitting I don't know enough to have an opinion is extremely rare. But being aware of your blind spots is the true mark of actual intelligence. So keep this in mind for the upcoming election and the next time that you look at the other side and think to yourself, how the hell can they believe that? Realize the information bubble that they're in and the information they're consuming is entirely different than what you're in and what you're consuming.
