Rich Schefren did a 24-hour live stream that made over $3.5 million. He explains how the stunt proved his dedication and expertise to stand out in a crowded coaching market.
I did the world's first 24 hour live stream and made over $3.5 million with it. Here's what I did. You see, the market was quite crowded and I needed a tactic that would not only draw and capture attention, but also highlight my dedication, expertise and ability to coach. And this was the perfect way to do it. It was an intense and exhausting experience. But that was my unfair advantage. You see, back in my 30s, I could easily pull back to back all nighters. So I came up with this idea of doing a 24 hour live stream as a powerful demonstration of my ability to coach. You see I that people would be curious to know how could I hold up for 24 hours. And I knew that this would draw them in. So I sat at my desk not for 24 hours, but for 26 hours straight, answering any and all questions about business growth and marketing. And I actually went longer because the number of viewers kept growing each and every hour. You see, it generated significant buzz and it was the most viewed live stream that day on the complete Internet. And it translated, like I said, into over three and a half million dollars on a theory of constraints coaching program. Now the reason it was so successful is because it was so different. It was different. It sucked all the attention from the Internet to me and my new coaching program. And as I always say, different is better than better. You see, being better is not always enough because it isn't easy to judge, just better. And often being better alone just doesn't make you stand out. You see, you need to find unique ways to set yourself apart in the business world to stand out, to capture your prospects attention and that's the way that you succeed.
