This is a YouTube video titled "This is how you onboard customers effectively." It features Rich Schefren discussing strategies for improving email engagement and customer retention during the onboarding process, emphasizing anticipation, value, and building a strong relationship with members.
Great way to kind of set up the beginning of the relationship, that here's what you're going to get over the next 10 days. The number one thing, right, I would say, is that you want to start a process where the likelihood of the next email getting opened is higher. Anything that we can do on day zero to get people to look forward to future emails is really important. So far we have anticipation, resale benefits, bond like respect, rich engineer, success, early wins, open loops, right? Tease what's coming in the future, milestones and what they're going to get. If you want to retain members, then make something worthy of that, what that people would want to be a member of. You need to remind people of, like, what makes you great and why you're here and what you do for them. And if you don't, then you will suffer because of it.
