Peer pressure is bullshit. One thing I've always tried to tell my children, my employees, my colleagues, if you follow what your peers are doing, you're never going to accomplish anything. One of the biggest inventions of my career, one that made me millions of dollars, came to being because all my friends abandoned me. You see, Walker style product launches were a huge thing back then. The year was 2008, by the way. And people would do this sort of thing when they form syndicates and promote each other. And what happened was all of my friends, or all the people I thought were my friends started a syndicate without including me. And they all started promoting each other and they all knew each other through me. Honestly, that kind of sucked. So I said, fuck them, I can do this on my own. And that's why invented the automated webinar, the method that everyone uses to this day. At the time, it was unlike anything else that had ever been done before. And it immediately became huge and made me millions of dollars on my own terms. And that probably wouldn't have happened if I followed what my so called friends did.
