The only way that you can have the odds stacked in your favor is if you have an advantage. Without an advantage, the only way that you can make up for it is working harder and harder and harder than everyone else. And that's a losing game. You will always find people willing to work harder than you. Well, where does this advantage come from? The advantage has to come from you in the beginning, either by your experience, your strengths, your passions. It could be a better story, a better backstory. It could be that you've developed a new way to get an outcome. But there has to be something. So if you don't have an advantage, you will fail.
