This is a YouTube video titled "You should NEVER give out product prices over the phone..." featuring Rich Schefren discussing sales strategies, specifically the importance of quick follow-up on leads, not giving prices over the phone, and incentivizing prospects to attend consultations. The content is a monologue or presentation by Rich Schefren recorded in August 2023.
Leads go stale very quickly online within minutes. Big difference in conversion rates between someone who's contacted a minute after they filled out a form versus 5 minutes, 10 minutes or an hour. People would always want to call and just say, how much is it? We would never give price over the phone to just throw out a number. What good does that do us? It doesn't do us any good whatsoever because you don't know how to value things. One of the things that I did, I was bribing people to, to come in. If we got them into the office, good chance we were going to sell them. So then it became all about, like, how do we incentivize people to actually show up for their free screening? So that's something to think about for yourself, right? What else can you add to the pot for them to come in for the consult? And if they don't want to come into the for the consult, what are they afraid of? And seeing if you can mitigate those things going forward by removing those as possibilities.
