Richard Li demos a DIY security camera built with Arduino and Raspberry Pi that adds temperature readings to video timestamps. The setup uses a servo motor for panning and USB power from the Pi, with live troubleshooting when the servo fails to respond.
This is a.
Dash cam that we made. It's powered by an Arduino and a Raspberry PI. As you can see, we have a date, and we have a temperature. The temperature is coming from a temperature sensor on the Arduino. And using the USB cable, it's going back to the Raspberry PI, and that way it gets power. We also made an app that lets us change the direction of where it is so we can stop the motor from sweeping, and then we can direct it to wherever we want. It's not working. Yeah. Oh, I know. Why.
Didn'T turn on the servo?
Yeah, I didn't do servo. So now it's gonna stop. We can. We can put whatever degrees we want, and then once we're done, we can tell it to continue sweeping.
