What's up everybody? Richard Milligan with 4C Recruiting wearing one of these awesome hats. Lead well, recruit right, legacy matters. I want to cut a quick video for you. I'm about to head into a webinar and what I'm going to talk about in the webinar is how digital has changed recruiting. So when you think about recruiting historically, one of the things that was true was reputation was linear. That's past. So an example of that would be like one person that I knew would recommend me to one person that they knew. So Think past customer, think referral partner, think connection, maybe even think networking group. You guys remember what those were? Now fast forward to the present world and reputation is exponential. The opportunity for it to grow is exponential. The digital world being the worldwide web. Yes, it can be social, but it can be lots of other places. When someone goes and Googles your name, searches you up, what shows up? Think social media tagging, think social surveys. Think influencer marketing. The challenge for you is this, is that you have to be recruiting as a present recruiting leader, not a past recruiting leader. If you're not, you're going to miss the biggest opportunity of your career to grow your team, to influence people, to impact people. Think digital, think present. When you do, it changes the way you act around everything as it relates to recruiting.
