A story that I've shared before, and I think I've shared on the podcast, is in 2007, one of my bucket list things to do was to complete a Half Ironman. And I trained in 2007 for that. I was 34 years old. I finished that. In fact, I finished it in about a minute under my goal time that I'd set for myself. I crossed that finish line, okay? I had no vision, no idea of what I wanted to do physically beyond that. And you know what happened? For 6 months, I couldn't motivate myself to do anything. I was in the best shape of my life. I could have gone and ran a marathon the next day like that because I was in such phenomenal shape, okay? But over 6 months, I lost every part of that. And the reason why I lost every part of that was I had no next big thing that I wanted to accomplish. And so I understand that knowing why you want to accomplish something, that's going to be the inspiration you have. You have to figure that component out.
