Biblical Business Breakthroughs (I Wish I Knew These Sooner)

What's up, everybody? It's Rick Pino here from Get Wisdom. Have you ever found yourself struggling financially, praying to God, crying out to God, God, I serve you. I tithe. I feel like I'm doing everything I'm supposed to be doing, but for whatever reason, we just can't get ahead. It feels like we're always a little bit behind. Well, if that is you, then this is the training for you. Because in today's training, I'm going to be sharing with you the most powerful biblical insights on money, on wealth creation that I have found. I wish I would have known these sooner because as soon as my wife and I tapped into the principles, I'm going to be sharing with you today in this training. We have been able to generate tens of millions of dollars in our businesses just in the past few years alone. So if that is an interest to you, stay tuned in right here and let's talk all about it. All right, guys, so today in this training, we're going to be talking about the biblical lessons about money. I wish I would have known sooner. And let's just jump straight on into it, guys. Number one, this is the biggest, most important one that you need to give. Okay? Number one, the very first thing you need to realize when it comes to what the Bible says about money is wealth is possible for you. And I'm going to put an exclamation point on that because the punchline is this. Wealth is possible for you. In fact, if you're watching here, I need you to drop it in the comments. Come on, just declare it in the comments. Wealth is possible for me. And how do we know that this is true? Like, is this something? Like, is wealth just only for a few of God's people, not for all of his people? Maybe it's just for, like, his special people. And is everybody special? Guys, break all of these limiting beliefs off. Don't get religious about this, okay? In fact, the Bible tells us right here in Deuteronomy 8:18. Deuteronomy 8:18 says it like this, guys, okay? Remember the Lord, For it is he. Who gives you the power to create wealth. Okay? So first and foremost, I need you to understand that wealth is possible for you. Like, if you don't even believe that wealth is possible for you, then how in the world are you going to be able to access wealth? You've got to, first and foremost believe that wealth and generational wealth is possible for you. And a couple of insights here from Deuteronomy. I just want to point out to You. Okay, super, super important here. Number one, remember the Lord, okay? I know a lot of times when people like, you know, especially people who have never really been entrusted wealth or they've never learned the game of money or wealth, they just think like, oh man, well as soon as you start making wealth, you're just going to forget God. Okay? That's not necessarily true. Okay? What wealth does, what money does is actually amplifies what's already going on in your heart. And I love how Deuteronomy says, guys, in all of this, just remember the Lord. You don't have to like give yourself to money to where you just forget God. No, walk with him every single step of the way. Remember him, for it is He. And watch this. It is he who gives you the power to create. And let's just pause here, okay? I talk about this from time to time here on the channel. But what a lot of believers, they get confused about is they just think, well, I'm just going to pray and then God's going to poof a bunch of money into my bank account. Thank you God for your miracles. Woo hoo. Guys, that's not how this works, okay? Deuteronomy 8:18 didn't say that God is going to give you wealth. It says that God will give you the power to create wealth. So what do we see from this principle here? We see that your wealth that you have not yet tapped into, but it is there for you as your portion, as your inheritance. How do you access that wealth? You've got to start getting more creative. What does that mean? Okay, you've got to start figuring out ways how you can solve more problems for people, okay? Because again, a lot of people think that the only way to make money is to go get a job, okay? But I'm telling you this right now. Getting a job. Nothing wrong with getting a job. But having a job and trading your time for dollars is the slowest, hardest path to wealth creation. In fact, if you flip that on its head and say, okay, well what's the fastest, easiest path to wealth creation? I'm telling you, it's found right here in Deuteronomy 8:18. It's unlocking a creative ability to serve others, okay? Not just with your efforts, not just with your muscles, right? Not just going and trading more time and energy for dollars, but saying, man, how can I creatively, how can God's going to give me the power to create? How can I creatively think up of new and creative ways to solve problems for people and not just Problems solve bigger problems for people. Because the bigger problems that you can solve, okay, the more money you can make. And what God is saying here, listen, I want to entrust wealth to you and the key that is going to unlock that is creativity. Okay? Now here's the thing. A key doesn't necessarily drive the car, right? But the key, it ignites the ignition, right? A key doesn't necessarily steward the house, but the key gives you access to the house. Your creative ability to serve other people is the key that will unlock the wealth that is meant for you. Okay? So right now, the reason why so many people, one of the reasons why so many people stay struggling in their finances is because they're just not being creative enough, right? Like, well, I guess I'm just gonna.

Go get a job.

Like, that's not the most creative way to make money. It's a way to make money, but it's not the most creative way to make money. Like, what if you could come up with a new and creative way to serve people, to solve problems for them? And when you do this, that's when the key ignites ignition. That's when the key opens up the door to wealth. So I want to encourage you, the first thing you need to understand when it comes to what the Bible says about you building wealth, okay, is that wealth is possible for you. And we see it here in Deuteronomy 8:18. Remember the Lord, it's he who gives you the power to create wealth. Okay, so what's the second thing? Now back to the training is now that you believe that wealth is possible for you. The second thing you need to do is you need to seek knowledge. Okay, you need to seek knowledge. Oops. And financial education. Why do we need to seek knowledge and grow our financial education? Well, it's very simple. Think about this. Like most people don't understand how money works. Most people don't understand how taxes work. Most people don't understand how credit works, Most people don't understand how debt works. And so guess what? Most people stay broke, Most people stay struggling. Because I don't know about you, but if you don't understand the rules of the game, you're not ever going to be able to win at the game. Hello. Right. Like if you don't know how the rules of Monopoly works, chances are you're probably not going to win the game. If you don't understand how the rules of basketball work, you're never going to be able to win the game of basketball. If you don't understand the rules of a football game, you're never going to be able to win. You see what I'm saying here? If you don't understand because you just simply haven't grown your knowledge and you haven't increased your financial education, then it's going to be super hard for you to win at the game of money. So you've got to. Now that you believe it's possible, you've got to start seeking more knowledge and growing your financial education. And let's come with me to the board and let's break down this scripture here, okay? Hosea, chapter four, verse six. You've probably seen this before, but this is God speaking. He says my people perish for what? You guys know this one, Lack of knowledge, Consider this. Okay, consider this. If it feels like your finances are perishing, it's probably because you lack the knowledge on how does money even work. If you feel like your credit is perishing, it's probably because you lack the knowledge of how credit actually works. If you feel like you are perishing in your tax situation, it's probably because you lack the knowledge of how taxes work. Are you catching this? Okay, so if we perish for the lack of knowledge, then I submit to you. I believe if we perish for the lack of knowledge, then we will also flourish when we grow our knowledge. Okay? And so, again, if you don't understand the game, if you don't understand the rules of how the game is played, it will be next to near impossible for you to win the game. So you've got to understand the rules. You have to seek more knowledge. You have to grow your financial literacy. Instead of you perishing in your finances, you need to get more knowledge. In fact, Proverbs chapter four. Okay, I'll just add this one on here. Proverbs chapter 4 says, in all you're getting. Get understanding. In all, you're getting. Wisdom. Then it goes on to say, for wisdom is the principal thing. Okay, Now, I know this might step on some toes, and I know this might, like, rattle some religious cages, but notice Proverbs doesn't say that prayer is the principal thing. Now, before I go any further, should you pray? Of course you should. I'm a man of prayer. All right, but it's not saying that prayer is the principal thing. No. What does it say? It says, wisdom is the principal thing. I know a lot of church people out there, they believe that, like, oh, we just. We're hanging on, we're believing for a miracle. You know, what's better than miracles? Wisdom is better than miracles. It's not God's will for you to just, oh, God, we're just. We're always struggling down here. Please, God, send another miracle. That sounds a lot like, to me, that Israelites in the wilderness going, oh, God, hopefully he'll feed us today. And God's like, well, I'll sustain you with just enough. I'll give you manna. I'll supply the daily miracle. Just enough. But only because you're not willing to learn who I am in the. More than enough. You see, the Israelites, I believe it wasn't God's will for them to just live off of manna, to just live off of miracles. And how do I know this? And it's not that miracles are bad, right? But how do I know this? Because it was God's will for them to take the promised land. And connected to their promised land, there were giants and there were fortified cities. So what does that mean? See, the Israelites were coming out of hundreds of years of slavery. And it's one thing for God to bring you out of Egypt, but it's another thing for you to get Egypt out of you. So they're coming out of Egypt and. Okay, and they still have this slavery mentality of like, oh, man. Well, you know, we just. We don't want to have to learn how to slay giants. We don't want to have to learn how to take fortified cities. We don't want to have to learn how to establish and build economies. Like, we've never had to do that before. Take us back to Egypt, man. At least the food was better there. That's the mentality that most of God's people have today. Like, I don't want to have to learn new skills. You mean I have to. I have to file and start an llc. I don't even know what that is. Like, I don't want to do that. Like, God, just please send me another miracle. We're struggling out here. That's why God's people stay broke, is because they're not willing to actually learn what is needed, okay? They're not willing to increase their knowledge and grow their financial literacy to the point to where they no longer have to perish, but instead they can flourish. If you are ready to go into your financial promised land this year, okay, then what you need to do is you need to seek knowledge and grow your financial education, okay? And all you're getting, you need to get understanding. You need to grow in understanding, grow in wisdom. Because wisdom is the primary thing, okay? It's not just like asking God for another miracle. That's not the primary thing. Learning new skills, okay? Investing. And in fact, that takes me to number three. If you're ready for number three, drop a three in the chats before I get ahead of myself here, okay? So that's the second thing you gotta do. Third, okay, you must invest in yourself. You must invest in yourself. You must, you must, you must. Okay, what does this mean? Okay, There's a lot of levels to this. If you're just starting out and you're like, man, I don't even. I'm struggling so bad, I don't even have any money to invest. Okay? Number one, stop thinking limited, okay? And understand that just because you may not have the finances to invest yet, you definitely have time to invest. How do I know that? I don't know. Let me look at your Netflix account. How do I know that? I don't know. Open up your phone. Let me see how many hours you spent on Instagram today. Open up your phone. Let me see how many hours you spent on YouTube today. On TikTok today. Right? So when you're just starting out on the Investment level. Okay, what you need to do is you need to swap out binge watching your favorite shows on Netflix and start binge watching videos like this. Start binge watching courses on whatever, marketing, sales, business. Grow your education financially, right? Seek more knowledge. And what does the Bible have to say when it comes to investing in. In yourself? I'm glad you asked. Proverbs 23:23 says. This is a powerful verse here. Not many Christians talk about it, but they need to talk about it more. So I guess I'll lift my voice here. Proverbs 23:23 says, by wisdom. And then it goes on to say, by understanding. Okay, so notice it's not saying, ask for wisdom for free and ask for understanding for free. It's literally saying, buy wisdom, buy understanding. Okay. And then it goes on to say, buy the truth and do not sell it. What does that mean? Well, first and foremost, let's talk about the beginning of this. Okay? Buy wisdom. Now, this was written by King Solomon, the wisest, richest man who ever lived, besides Jesus, of course. And Solomon is literally telling us, guys, take some of your resources and go purchase some education. Go purchase some wisdom. Go purchase some understanding. Well, you know Christians, you know, freely you've received, freely give. We shouldn't have to go buy these things. We should. It should just rain down like manna from heaven. Okay? When the Bible says freely, you receive, freely give, it's connected to the context in Matthew, chapter 8. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse leper, cast out devils. Freely you receive, freely give. So the context is in spiritual things, meaning. Okay, yes, we shouldn't charge people to pray for them. Of course. We shouldn't charge people to prophesy over them like, freely we've received, freely, we should give in that way. However, everything else, when it comes to knowledge, when it comes to products, when it comes to services, okay, you should be willing to invest and to purchase. It is good for people to sell you things. In fact, your life has been dramatically changed for the good by people selling you stuff. Do you have a roof over your head? Congratulations, somebody sold that to you. Are you watching this training right now on a smart device or on your laptop? Congratulations, somebody sold you those things. Are you completely bare with no clothes whatsoever and you can't even go out into public because you don't even have any clothes whatsoever? No, you probably have clothes on. Congratulations, somebody sold you those. Is your tooth always aching because you know there's no one there to. No, of course. Of course not. Right? You go to the dentist and they sell you a service and your life was made. Do you see what I'm saying? Like, are you starving to death? Chances are you're probably not. Because you can go to the grocery store, you can go to the restaurant, Congratulations, they sold you something. Okay? So freely you receive, freely give. Like, oh, people shouldn't charge. Like, yes, they should. Okay, don't get religious about the context of this. You need to invest in yourself. You must learn to buy wisdom, buy understanding, buy the truth. And then the next part says, and do not sell it. I was talking to one of my students recently, and they're like, this is kind of controversial. Like, it's literally telling us to buy these things, but then it tells us not to sell these things. So if we don't sell them, how in the world can we buy them? It doesn't make sense. Here's what the translation is missing right here. Okay? Go in and check it out. In the Hebrew, what it's literally saying is this, okay? By wisdom, by understanding, by the truth, buy and do not sell. What does that part in do not sell mean? What the scripture was actually intending to say here was. And the translation just isn't the strongest. It's literally saying this. When you buy these precious. These precious pieces of wisdom and understanding, when you invest into a mentor, when you join a coaching program, when you purchase a course, okay? When you invest in yourself, what you don't want to do is you don't want to purchase all of these. This new information and then just be like, eh, you know what? It's not that big of a deal. You know, I paid a little bit of money for it. I'll just sell it to you for pennies on the dollar. That's literally what it's saying. It's saying, don't be flippant. When you purchase wisdom, when you purchase understanding, don't be flippant with it. Like, eh. I mean, I bought it. I'll just. I'll sell it to you for pennies on the dollar. Who cares? Like, don't be flippant with it. Because wisdom and understanding and truth literally have the potential to radically transform your life for the better. So don't be flippant about it, right? You've got to be aggressive with this. You've got to invest in yourself, man. When's the last time you invested into yourself? So many church people. Oh, man, this is a great church. We're going to sow into that good soil. Oh, he's a wonderful young man. She's a wonderful Young gal. We want to invest into her because we want to send her to the mission field. We want to send him to the mission field. All of that is amazing. You should do that more. But I want to submit this idea to you. When's the last time you invested or sowed into yourself? You are good soil too. You need to learn how to invest in yourself. Because when you grow your. When you buy wisdom and you buy understanding, when you join mentorships, when you purchase courses, when you purchase trainings, okay, here's what happens. You begin to grow your skills. You begin to that creative thing we talked about at the very beginning of the lesson here, that creativity, Creativity, excuse me, begins to get stronger. And now you actually have some skills on how to execute on that creative idea. Maybe you have an idea right now. Man, I'd love to serve people. I'd love to, whatever. I'd love to help single mothers. I just don't know how. Well, what if there was a course? What if there was a program? What if there was a training? What if there was a mentorship that you could join and they could say, hey, here's how to market, here's how to sell, here's how to build a product or service to where you can actually take your dream and serve the people you feel called to serve. This is why it is so crucial to invest into yourself and why the Bible tells us to buy wisdom, buy understanding, buy the truth, and don't be flippant about it when you do. Don't treat it like, eh, it's just been sitting in the garage. Who cares? No, you want to treat these things as precious, okay? Because when you invest in yourself and you grow your skills and you grow your understanding, okay, no recession can take that from you. No, it doesn't matter who's in the White House. They can't take your skills from you, okay? No crazy situation going on in your life. Nothing can take your skills from you. Nothing can take your mindset from you. So you must invest into yourself. If you can tell I'm pretty passionate about this one because man is incredibly important. If you're ready for number four, drop a four in the comments and let's keep going here, okay? Fourth thing, okay, number four, next thing that you got to do. This one's super powerful and it ties into number three. You must surround yourself with wise. Advisors or mentors. Listen, I don't know if you knew this or not, but in life, in the spirit, in life, in business, in most aspects of life, I would probably go as far as saying in almost every aspect of life, there are no shortcuts, except for one. And that shortcut is called mentorship. Okay? If you want to use spiritual language, it's called discipleship. It's called mentorship. It's called coaching. It's literally finding someone who is successful in the way that you desire to be successful and connecting to them and doing number three, what Proverbs 23:23 tells us by wisdom, by understanding, by the truth. Like, in the business world, it's very, very simple. How have I been able to grow at the level I've been able to grow? I invested into myself, man, just in the past couple of years, I have spent roughly just under $1 million. Actually. Okay, I was going to say a million, but it's just under a million. Like almost a little bit over 900,000, just to be candid with you. Almost $1 million into my personal self development education, mentorships programs, trainings, et cetera. Just in the past few years. People are like, how in the world did this happen for Rick and his family so fast? Well, I just did what the Bible said. I believed it was possible for me. Okay, I begin to invest into myself, right? And then what I did to invest in myself, I would purchase mentorships, I would purchase trainings. Oh, man. You know, like, and small minded people, like, oh, man, you paid whatever, five grand to just go sit in the room for a day to learn? Yes, I did. You paid 20,000 to go learn this thing in two days? Yes, I did. You paid this person six figures plus just to be mentored by them for a year? Yes, I did. And I did it multiple times with joy and gladness in my heart. Because I'm telling you this right now. When you can not just invest in yourself, like in courses and in, like, you know, educational products, but to actually purchase mentorships. My gosh, man. This is literally the shortcut. It's the shortcut. If you're taking notes, write this down. Success leaves clues, okay? Instead of you trying to figure all of this stuff out on your own, what you should do is just go connect to a mentor. Connect yourself. Get around some wise advisors or some wise mentors who've already been there, done that. They've had the results that you desire, and they've helped others get the results that you desire. Go pay them. Go pay them and learn from their Success, so that way it doesn't have to take you a whole bunch of time. Consider this. Jesus prepared for 30 years, so his disciples only had to prepare for three. What does that mean? It means that when you get connected to the right mentor, to the right coach, okay, There is an acceleration that happens just by you getting around. Wise advisors, wise mentors, etc. Okay, come with me to the board and let's talk about this verse. This is so powerful here. Proverbs. Are you guys getting some wisdom today? If you guys are getting some wisdom, let me know in the comments. Say I'm getting it. Okay? Watch this. Proverbs 11, verse 4. It says it like this. Where there is no guidance. In other words, mentorship. Where there is no guidance, okay? People fall, all right? But in the abundance. In the abundance of counselors, however you spell that counselors, I don't know. In the abundance of counselors, there is safety. Could it be that one of the reasons why you are not flourishing and thriving in your finances is because you're just simply not doing what the Bible says to do? I ain't trying to step on any toes, but maybe you're just not doing what the Bible says to do. The Bible says to buy wisdom, buy understanding. The Bible says to believe that this is possible for you. Deuteronomy 8. 18, right? The Bible says you don't have to be perishing for the lack of knowledge. You can flourish when you get more knowledge. And the way you're gonna do this is to invest in yourself, to surround yourself with wise advisors and wise mentors. Maybe you just need to start doing this stuff. That's what I did. That's how it happened for me. That's literally how my wife and I went from living in Section 8 housing, which is below the poverty line here in America, to now we've done multiple eight figures in our businesses. We're just doing this stuff. Literally, we're just doing this stuff, okay? So if you want to see your plans succeed, okay, then you need to start getting some guidance. You need to start getting some mentorship. Because if not, then you're going to fall. But however, in the abundance of counselors, there is safety. Here's the cool part. You don't have to just have one mentor. Right now I have six different business mentors, and I have others in other places, okay? I've got six different business mentors. I've got tax mentors, okay? I've got health mentors. I got all kinds of men. I've got spiritual mentors. Of course. Okay. But just in business, just in finances, I've got six different mentors and the cheapest one that I paid because I want to do Proverbs 23:23 and buy wisdom by understanding. The cheapest one I paid was $50,000. That was the cheapest one I paid multiple of these mentors of mine, six figures plus. Now I'm not saying that you have to start there, right? I didn't start there, but I grew there. Just by doing these things and working my way up, you can too. Okay? So listen, you need to surround yourself with wise advisors and wise mentors, okay? Because this is an unlock man. It's a cheat code. Mentorship is the shortcut. It is the cheat code. All right? And then number five, drop a five in the comments. If you guys are ready for the fifth biblical principle, I want to share with you here, this one is super strong. Okay? Number five, now that you've done all these things, you must learn how to take advantage. Of the opportunities that are available to you. What does that mean? Okay, I submit to you that broke minded people see everything as a scam. Oh, you know, beware of those get rich quick schemes, right? Oh man, beware. You know, we careful over there. But here's the punchline. Why did they warn us about get rich quick schemes but nobody warned us about the stay broke your whole entire life scheme. In fact, it's so interesting to me because people with a broke mindset, they're the only ones who think that there's trouble in every opportunity, right? But a wealthy minded person sees that there's opportunity in every trouble. Uh oh. Woo. Broke minded people think everything is a scam and they see trouble in every opportunity. Wealthy minded people see everything as an opportunity and they see an opportunity in every trouble. You've got to understand, when an opportunity drops into your lap, you need to learn how to take advantage of it and not let the the cycles of scarcity, okay? And the poverty mind traps keep you locked in the old patterns that obviously haven't been working for you anyways. Oh, maybe they're trying to rip you off. Maybe it's a scam. What if it doesn't work for you? Like give me a break dude. That is such broke minded thinking, right? That is such scarcity thinking. Thinking that everybody's out to get you like there, of course there are scams out there, of course. But I'm saying like more so than just trying to look for the problem, look for the opportunity. I'm telling you man. And this is so powerful. Luke chapter 16. Watch this. Luke 16:8 says, The children of this world. Are more wise in their generation. Then the children of light. What does that mean? Have you ever wondered to yourself, like, God, here I am, we're struggling in our finances, we just can't seem to get ahead. We're doing all the right stuff, we're tithing, we serve you God. And we still can't figure this out why. And then God, here we are, your children and we're still struggling and I look over here and all these wicked people are doing awesome. How is this God? We need some answers. Please help us. Well, I want to submit to you that. Could it be that all of these people who they don't even walk with God, how are they doing better than you financially? Because they're more wise in their generation. What does that mean? It means they're willing to jump on good opportunities that are available to them in their generation instead of like being a religious minded person. Like, oh man, you know, we're just going to hopefully pray that God just sends us another miracle. Hopefully, you know, we just, you know, we're just going to pray harder, brother. No, you need to believe it's possible. You need to stop perishing. You need to get more knowledge so you can start flourishing, okay? You need to start investing into yourself. You need to start surrounding yourself with, with wise mentors. And then as you're doing this, you need to jump on good opportunities. This is how it works, guys. This is how you can break free from the cycles of scarcity, okay, and the pits of poverty. You can break free by simply doing what the scripture tells us to do. I'm telling you guys this, man, what I wish for you in 2025 and beyond is I want to see you, the people of God, flourishing in their finances, no longer being held bound, no longer struggling or no longer just having enough. Like we're just barely getting by. I mean, we got enough, it's okay, we're comfortable, but we're not getting ahead, that's for sure. No, no, no, that's not God's will for you. It's not his perfect will for you. It's not the best that God has for you. That's just the manna. God has a promised land for you. God has incredible, incredible milk and honey and gigantic fruit for you in your promised land. But you've got to be one who's willing to slay some giants, to take some fortified cities, to learn some new skills, to invest into yourself, to stop being so religious about all of this stuff and understand that God is breaking you. He desires to break you into your promised land. He's already bringing you out of Egypt but you now you're responsible to get Egypt out of you Guys thank you so much for joining me in this training here.
