These 4 Lessons From Tai Lopez Made Me Millions

Rick Pino (creator) describes four lessons he learned from mentor Tai Lopez that he credits for substantial business success. He recounts discovering Tai via long-running ads, investing in Tai’s earlier program (~$5,000) and making $900,000 within six months, and later becoming one of Tai’s private clients (paid multiple six figures). The four lessons: (1) mentorship is the shortcut; (2) knowledge (reading) accelerates growth; (3) build your personal brand; (4) being best-known can beat having the best product. The video closes with audience prompts (like/subscribe/comment) and a CTA to book a strategy session.

Today we're going to be talking all about these four lessons I learned from one of my mentors, Tai Lopez. In fact, I recently paid him a whole bunch of money to become a private client. Stay tuned, because I'm going to be sharing all of these lessons with you. Number four is actually going to blow your mind. Welcome back to the video, guys. Today we're going to be talking about four lessons I learned from Tai Lopez that made me millions. Recently. I paid Ty multiple six figures to become one of his private clients. There's only a few of us in that program. I'm super pumped because Ty's made hundreds of millions of dollars. Though I've made tens of millions. I'm on my way. I want to learn how to make hundreds of millions. So I recently hired Ty as my coach, and now I'm not going to be gatekeeping any of this information. I'm going to be giving you guys the top four lessons that I have learned from Tai recently. Make sure to stick around, especially for lesson number four, because I think it's going to actually shock you. Okay, before we jump in, guys, make sure to like and subscribe. Hit the bell if you want to continue seeing more like this from me. Before we jump in, guys, I want to give you a short story to give you some context of how I actually came to become a private client of Ty's. Okay. Six years ago, I was looking to get into business. I was looking for ways to make money online. I didn't know how to do it, and so I'm searching around, and before I know it, I started getting hit with ads from this gentleman, Tai Lopez. Every time I open up YouTube or Instagram or Facebook, there he was, sharing his ideas with me. Guys, I'm here in my garage and check out this Lambo. But don't worry about the Lambo. Check out my books. Before I know it, he started hitting me with ads for one of his programs, Social media marketing agency. This was years ago. If you know, you know, right? I joined his program. I believe I invested about $5,000 into that program. I joined the program, and within six months, I had made $900,000. It was the beginning of mine and my wife's entrepreneurial journey. The rest is history. Fast forward all these years later. Now I'm one of Ty's private clients and get to do private phone calls with him. I get to get my questions answered throughout the day. And it's just really cool to have a mentor and a springboard like that where you can ask something from someone who's done it right. So, guys, recently I had a phone call with Ty, and I had these four really huge takeaways I want to share with you today. Let's jump in to number one. The very first lesson that I've learned from Ty is that mentorship is the shortcut. Okay? Not only have I hired Ty a number of different times to be my mentor, but Ty, if you watch him, he has tons of different mentors for all kinds of different areas of his life. In fact, Ty calls it the good life, health, wealth, love, and happiness. And within those four sectors, he has multiple coaches inside of each of those areas that to coach him so that he can become better at life. And so it's really cool that Ty doesn't just sell mentoring. He doesn't just sell coaching. He also hires mentors. He purchases coaching for himself. So a lesson you've got to learn here is that if you're a coach or a mentor, you should absolutely have a coach or a mentor. In fact, one of my other mentors, Myron golden, always says, if you're a coach and you don't have a coach, then you are not fit to be in the coaching industry. After all these years of studying Tai and being semi close to him in mentorship, I begin to wonder, how in the world is he getting so far ahead so quick? And the answer here, guys, is mentorship. I will tell you this right now. In life, there are no shortcuts except for one, and that shortcut is mentorship. So listen, whatever you're doing, whatever sphere you're in, whatever business you're trying to start, one of the best investments you can make in your life is to hire a coach, hire a mentor that has done the thing that you want to do. Lesson number two that I have learned from Ty is that knowledge is power. It's not just some cliche thing that people talk about. This is a reality. In his classic viral video, here I am in my garage, Ty is sitting there, and he goes, hey, guys, check it out. I'm here in my garage. Check out the lambos. But you know what I like better than lambos? Knowledge. And then he goes and shows all the bookshelves with thousands of books, and the rest is history. But the punchline is this, guys, when you begin to acquire knowledge, you begin to grow at a rapidly accelerated pace, much more than other people. In fact, Ty is known to read one book a day. I'm not quite there yet, but I try to read one book a week right now. And even that has rapidly accelerated my thought process, my mind has expanded, and honestly, as a byproduct, my business and my finances have grown, my relationships have grown, everything around me has grown. All because I am purposefully putting my mind to work every single week. Reading a book at least once a week. I can't imagine I'm trying to get to Ty's level once a day. Maybe I'll get there soon. But the punchline is this. Readers are leaders and leaders are readers. If you want to be a leader in your industry, you've got to begin to read. You have got to know all there is to know about that subject. And one thing that I really appreciate about Ty is not only does he study the depth of the subject, he's one who actually looks at different situations, different angles, different perspectives on the subject so that he can get a more round, robust knowledge on the subject. So I've been trying to take that approach recently as well and it works. Incredible. So I want to encourage you begin to grow in knowledge because the more you grow in knowledge, the more power you will have. Lesson number three that I have learned from Tai Lopez is the importance of building your, your personal brand. In fact, just this last week I had a call with Ty and I asked him, ty, if there was one thing I could be working on right now, what would you suggest? Of course he has the context of a lot of stuff that's going on in my businesses. And his answer actually shocked me. He said, Rick, you've got to grow your personal brand. You've got to become more well known. You're a little known, but you've got to become more well known. And the punchline is this, the bigger your personal brand is, the more influence you can have in the world. Because to help move people and guide people towards a direction you feel called to help them with. Not only that, but you can grow your impact as well as your income. You look at people like Kylie Jenner, you know, the world's youngest self made billionaire. How did she do that? Because she has hundreds of millions of followers. She is known. And to the level that you are known is the level that you can impact, influence and even create income. So in fact, Ty says that the emperor level of strategy in your business is to build your personal brand. The emperor level. And then there's the king level, which is direct sales and queen level, and on and on and on. But the most important thing is to build your personal brand. How many of you want to know the other levels there? Maybe I'll share That in another video. But, guys, listen, whatever you're doing, you've got to begin to build your personal brand. No matter what changes in your life, no matter what business you start, no matter what path you're going, you. You will always have your name, okay? So you've got to build the pillar of your personal brand and let everything else branch off of the pillar of your personal brands. And lesson number four, guys, one of the most important lessons I have learned from Ty is the best known always beats the best product. It's interesting to me. I think that Ty is one of the best marketers on the planet. Ty has a really cool way of speaking to people, connecting with them, but then also providing a solution to their problem. And it's really crazy because the more he gets known, you don't even know what products he's selling. But because it's him. And again, it goes back to personal brand. But the more he's known, the more he can leverage helping people and serving people and in a byproduct to make money in his business as well. I want to encourage you guys. You've got to work on getting known, okay? I believe it's Grant Cardone who says if they don't know you, they can't flow you. That means if people don't know that your solution to their problem exists, how in the world are they going to pay you? It can't happen unless they know you, right? So you've got to get known. In fact, I was just talking to some of my students recently, and I made this statement. If you have something good that God has put in your life, it's a solution to people's problems. And you don't make that solution available. You don't tell people about the solution. Right? Then you're selfish. You're doing an injustice to these people who you could potentially help. But you choose not to get known. You choose not to have your solution get known because for whatever reason, you're too embarrassed or you don't want to put yourself out there. Whatever it is, I'm telling you right now, if you want to make the impact that God has called you to make, you have got to get more known. Well, there you have it, guys. I hope these four lessons that I learned from one of my mentors, Tai Lopez, was encouraging to you. Let me know in the comments what your favorite lesson was from this video.
