Rick Torrison uses an Albert Einstein quote about ships being safest in harbor to argue that staying comfortable means missing out. Real living requires leaving the shore and risking the deep water.

I was reading a quote just a few minutes ago that really just sparked a thought in me, and it's the quote I posted in the comments about Albert Einstein. He said, a ship is always the safest when it's at the shore. But the reality is that's not what a ship was built for. And I started thinking about my life and all the people that I work with in the coaching and how many of us are stuck at the shore because it's safe, because it's comfortable, because we know what to expect there. But we were really built for the deep water. We were really built for traversing the ocean. Right? What is it that you are shying away from, that you are not engaging in, that you are settling for that's keeping you moored to the dock on the shore?
